Lovely light room with little balcony. Felt like we had our own little apartment in Florence :)
Location perfect very central and walking distance to everything The room and bathroom very clean, quiet and plenty of space.
Don't supply tea/coffee facilities
You Just get out off the door and on your right, you see Duomo just a few meters away from you. This is great.
There is no elevator, so you need to carry your luggage and there is no concierge all the time, this is a little bit Weird.
Walking distance to places of interest. Breakfast was good.
No staff on site. Breakfast was a block and a half away. Parking the car was a pain.
Excellent location and friendliness of staff. Rooms clean and good quality bed linen.
Unable to connect to wifi
Excellent location, very friendly and helpful staff member. Perfect as long as you expect B&B service. Definitely recommend
Size of room was lovely and we had been upgraded with a small courtyard garden which was a super surprise. Comfortable large bed and excellent shower. Owner was very helpful and informative. Wish we could have stayed longer than two nights. The breakfast was the best we have had while touring Italy. Only a five minute walk away and greeted by friendly, busy staff. We had good coffee, fresh fruit and yoghurt and a choice of pastry. Excellent.
Shame there wasn't a hairdryer in the room.
Location is excellent. We had a back room which was very quiet with a lovely balcony. Very helpful and pleasant staff. Breakfast is minimal but as no facilities in room a morning coffee was enjoyable.
The hotel is run by the owner himself. He took great care of us when we were there. He was very prompt in replying any of our e-mails and questions. The room was quite lovely. Vintage decorations.
Can't beat the location! Literally a 30 second walk to the Academia Museum (tip - buy tickets across street at bookstore), and a few minutes to the Douma. 10 minutes gets you to the Uffizi Museum (another tip - skip this poorly run Museum! No kidding!). We walked from the train station, about a half mile, but taxis are available. The facility from the outside looks like most of the local buildings - a bit run down, but never fear - once behind the secure sets of doors the hotel is clean, beautifully tiled, and the room (ours was room 6) large with AC and a big bathroom. Ring the bell to get Federico to open the front door, then down the hall and up one flight of stairs, then it's the door at the left end of the short hallway. Federico (the manager) is a great guy and very helpful. (Sorry about locking you out Federico!). Trust me on this one - this is the place to stay if you want to be near the 'action'. One tip, if noise is an issue with you, ask for one of the interior rooms, as there is some noise from the street until late evening - didn't bother us.
Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, large and comfortable. Very close to city center. Free and fast wifi.
spacious, clean, modern
no reception. Room was on the front and noisy
