The pastoral setting.

This is a spectacular property in the country north of Rome. Great bargains can be had at certain times. Shuttle leaves for the city at 9:30 AM, drop off at St. Peter's, pickup is at 8:00 PM, only 10 euros round trip. The on-site restaurant is very good, the staff is friendly and competent, the grounds and buildings are beautiful, the rooms are very quiet, the beds are comfortable, the plumbing works well.

Transport from the airport is a problem ... when we visited, the airport shuttle cost 55 euros per person each way. We rented a car instead, which in Italy is not for everyone. The hotel says they contract for this shuttle and are planning to operate their own in the future. Air conditioner was not working in our room and it was hot. Changed to another room and it didn't work there either. But if there had only been screens on the windows, we could have slept in perfect comfort. The countryside outside of Rome is not attractive, so our plan to go for hikes in a park or preserve did not happen.

Fantastic hotel with masses of character. Lovely room and the dining rooms were great places to eat. The hotel is particularly geared to wedding parties and the like.

Hotel was fairly empty and not all the eating / bar areas were open and there was a lack of staff in these areas(time of year?) Also the menu was not very extensive and a different menu for lunch would be good. However, the food was of good quality.

A fabulous hotel to relax in after a busy day in Rome. Paradise.

The hotel was fairly close to the airport for us, that was the only reason we chose to stay here. Not much to do in the area. We drove around without any luck. The countryside is very beautifull however.

If you like the commercialised wedding venue type accommodatioin this is perfect, however this is not our style.

Beautiful hotel! Staff was excellent. Not far outside of Rome and they shuttled us to and from.

L'arrivo all'inizio di una notte illuminate da una luna discreta che coccolava le stelle. Un vialetto illuminato su entrambi i lati a segnare la via che porta verso un mondo che fa ritornare alla mente il calore di un mondo dal fascino antico. Tutto è silenzio, solo il rumore discreto dell'acqua che fa girare una ruota ed il canto di qualche uccello notturno, accompagnano i nostri passi verso la reception. Il portiere, gentilissimo nonostante l'ora davvero tarda, ci accompagna nella nostra camera. Il profumo che si respira è buono, la temperatura perfetta, la stanza ampia ha una grande finestra che affaccia sul vialetto d'ingresso. Lo sguardo spazia scoprendo costruzioni in pietra dall'indubbio fascino. Un gazebo situato su uno sperone di roccia posto sulla parte più alta di una collinetta, fa immaginare di quale panorama si possa godere da lassù.. Il bagno accogliente invita ad usufruire della doccia.. Poi un tuffo sul letto.. e si inizia a sognare.. o forse il sogno semplicemente continua..

Il posto è meraviglioso, molto suggestivo e romantico.

Purtroppo non esiste contatto con l'esterno visto che il cellulare non prende (almeno la mia compagnia)

Vincenzo il maitre.. é il top come ciliegina sulla torta dopo una cena fantastica La struttura stupenda. La junior suite da favola. Lo staff gentilissimo. La pulizia ottima La tranquillita. Bottiglia di spumante di benvenuto ciabatte accappatoi e infiniti prodotti da bagno.

Che ci andro spesso spendero meta stipendio!!!!!!! :)

Tutto magnifico. Siamo stati una notte nella suites con idromassaggio e devo dire che la stanza era fenomenale, la cordialità dello staff dell hotel impeccabile e il cibo ottimo !!! ci tornerò sicuramente.

Le cadre de l'hotel est vraiment magique! Notre chambre était belle, spacieuse et confortable! Le petit dejeuné très diversifiés, le personnel de l hotel parfaitement bilingue en anglais. L hotel se situe a 20 km du centre ville, mais l hotel met a disposition une voiture pour 10 euros aller retour par jour et non pas 5 comme précisé sur le site! Nous avons testé le restaurant de l hotel, tres bien aussi!

La tete de lit était mal fixée et aucune chaine francaise a la tv et le wifi est payant! Sinon rien à redire! L hotel etant tres eloigné de la ville, ce n'est pas pratique pour voir Rome de nuit car la voiture vient vous chercher a 20h00....

Rispetto all'anno scorso è di gran lunga peggiorto. La struttura non ha una buona manutenzione ordinaria e, per prima cosa, hanno cercato di darci una camera di pessima qualità. Dopo le mie lamentele me lhanno cambiata. Colazione di basso livello. E' come se per I clienti di booking volessero dare un servizio più basso apposta

Posizione stupenda, struttura molto curata, personale cordiale e simpatico. Cibo molto buono. Consigliato per fughe da città, relax, viaggi di coppia...

Old castle on the hill, sorrounded by nice garden, very romantic, excellent cusine.

Ambiente favoloso: l'albergo è unico, veramente bellissimo e molto curato. Giardini, terrazze stile Marrakech: un'oasi di relax a pochi passi da Roma. Veramente il luogo che non ci si aspetta di trovare...

La camera era perfetta ma un po' piccola e senza le tipiche attenzioni del quattro stelle (le ciabattine in bagno, a esempio), ma credo fosse perché era una delle camere in superofferta e per il prezzo pagato era comunque ineccepibile. Un appunto invece va fatto alla colazione senza glutine: I prodotti glutenfree erano ridotti a un tipo di gallette e un tipo di crackers.
