Street noise at night (Friday night) - earplugs were provided!
We stayed there this summer with our kids and my sister, and as always were delighted with the service, the decor, the price, the location, and the general ambiance. Very good value for money, and the staff really cannot do enough to accommodate you. This was our 5th time staying at this hotel, but it won't be the last- they put in an extra bed for my sister for one of the nights at no extra cost, accommodated an extreme flight delay which meant middle of the night arrival with no hassle, and just generally were fantastic. We love this hotel!!
Atmosphere, staff (especially Marco-so enthusiastically helpful) Breakfast choice unbelievable, decor superbly quaint Italian with all modern conveniences. 10 minutes walk from railway staion
Request a room at the back-bar close by did not close until 04.40-noise levels immense therefore very little sleep!
Located in the center of the city and close to everything. We enjoyed staying here!
Great location. Nice bedroom and bathroom. Excellent breakfast
Great location, walking distance from station and The Tower area. 18th cent. restored building with charm. Staff very helpful. The suite had everything! Breakfast was great..I would recommend it
Being an OLD restored building rooms are not light and airy but definely not a problem.
All staff was good
The location was excellent for access to the main sites.
A busy cafe was located opposite, which opened quite early in the morning.
Beautiful hotel! Stunning room. Very good value for money. Other reviewes complained about noise but we slept soundly without a problem. Extremely helpful staff at check in. Both on arrival & departure someone helped carry our luggage up & down the stairs. Excellent location & great value for money.
Breakfast was not great but we didn't care as the positives of staying in such beautiful surroundings far outweighed this one negative.
It is in the city centre and very close to the station.
The Street is crowded during the night. So it is hard to sleep because of the noise outside.
The location was right on the main drag. The rooms were surprisingly large and quite nice, and the shower was amazing! We've never had such a high tech washing experience.
Fair warning, the air conditioner might as well be wall decor. Closing the windows and running the AC left the room sweltering. We had a little more luck in the evening with opening the windows in the room and bathroom and letting the breeze blow through. Luckily it was a corner room.
The owners were friendly and helpful. I had the whole attic, a huge space, to myself. Breakfast was very nice.
Nothing, all was good.
Perfect spot, right on the pedestrian street. Walking distance to train station.. Friendly and helpful staff.
Very very noisy room. Was hoping for some glutenfree bread for breakfast, but there were no options...
Breakfast, very nice & helpful staff. Nice room, no 23.
The location was fantastic as were the staff. Only stayed one night but will definitely be returning. That's a big thing as we don't tend to return to same place twice. MASSIVE thumbs up!!
Location. Decoration. The super helpful staff and owners who did everything to the highest standard. Even helped us evade a huge driving fine when we entered a pedestrian only area in our car. The little guest lounge was wonderful, breakfast welcoming
Having to leave was hard.
Breakfast was good.
Great location on the main drag which is Corso Italia Antique furnishings, feels very authentic. Friendly helpful guy at the desk who spoke fine English.
Bit noisy at night from the street. 4 bed room which was 2 rooms - the back room had no window.
Location, friendliness of staff, value for money.
Parking is difficult and we booked the garage.
Lovely old building with lots if character. Staff were really friendly and helpful.
A little bit noisy but not enough to put me off staying again!
Even though when we arrived there was no record of our reservation & there were no rooms available like we had booked, the very helpful lady on reception offered us a triple room which turned out to be more like a suite. Location was ideal for us close to station & the sights. The breakfast was the best we had throught our holiday to Italy.
This is a great little place in the middle of everything. It was between the train station and the Leaning Tower so it was perfect for walking to everything. A friendly staff and clean room made this a very pleasant stay.
Nothing but the small shower.
The hotel had some beautiful features such as the exposed beams and chandeliers. The room was clean and as a whole I found the hotel to be to a very high standard. The breakfast room was quiet and had a rather homely feel which I feel is needed when one is travelling away for a long time! The staff were very accommodating and were ready to help whenever I needed assistance. Thank you!
Very noisy during the night- people drunkenly shouting in the hall way and slamming doors at around 3am. A lot of shouting and commotion. Did not get to have much sleep at all thus waking up in pain due to not sleeping comfortably. A real disappointment as the hotel was lovely!
The staff were very friendly as it was a family owned business. Even though there English wasn't great, they were able to understand and catered for all our needs! Breakfast included was a bonus and great value for money! Only a 10 minute walk from the train station too!
It was noisy at night as it was very central so we had to wear ear plugs but we didn't mind as it was a Saturday night so added to the atmosphere!
Charming room from antiquity and convenient.
No elevator, and inadequate lighting in room to read, just chandelier which was beautiful, but not very functional. Also the hall light was on a sensor which always left us in the dark after a few steps.
