People good and helpful. Easy walk into mains areas of town and close to rail station .
It is in the heart of town on a very narrow and busy street. The A/C( in room noisy job 'til it quit) not working could have been tolerated at the time of the year except for the street noise with open windows. So unless you intend to be out to early hours (05.00) not a great spot.
Great location, right in the city center, close to the railway station and bus station. Everywhere is within walking distance. Good and full breakfast. Very nice and helpful staff.
Slowly work the internet.
Friendly staff. Convenient location. Renovated rooms. Free WiFi, good signal reception, and speed at room.
No elevator at all (three floors). Some noise from the road until late even at higher floors.
Central location Good breakfast with large selection of choices Comfortable bed and pillows with clean bed linen Clean bathroom
Noise from pedestrians on busy street as location is on main pedestrian shopping street in Pisa Lace curtains on 4-poster bed is very old-fashioned
We loved the proximity to both the town and attractions plus the airport. We also loved the original features of the rooms - amazing.
Excellent breakfast.convenient for train and the leaning tower.Helpful, kind staff
The drain in the shower was blocked. The ipad connection wouldn,t fit the old style Italian socket(although will do so elsewhere in Italy).the noise at night-despite a very quiet room
Great location between train station and historic center on one of the main pedestrian shopping streets, in a lovely historic building. Breakfast buffet was nice and staff friendly and helpful.
Friendly staff Good size bed (for a single room) Breakfast buffet Very central location
Outside it was very noisy Wifi was sometimes very slow
Room facilities, style, breakfast, friendly staff, location.
The hotel is located in the Main Street on the way from the station to the river, so the location is very convenient. The room that was given to me initially faced the street, so it was really noisy, and I asked for another room - and was placed in the mansard! Although there is no elevator, which made it difficult to climb down with the bag on the day of departure, staying in the mansard was just perfect: a window facing the sky and silence!
The receptionist was almost never at place. Luckily he was there when I arrived, otherwise it is actually difficult to recognize the hotel door when it is closed, and it is impossible to enter if you don't know the door code.
Marco was lovely. The history of the establishment.
Being placed on top floor with two heavy cases. Shower was so tiny I felt vacuum packed!! It apps rmained cold and dribbled put water - we asked for help three times but despite them feeling the water was cold, stated in heated Italian, that is was hot and ok!!! We had to boil the kettle for washing! It was very noisy in the street and sleeping above a rowdy Main Street was difficult.
central location, room large & spacious, staff friendly, choice for breakfast, good to use as a base, air conditioning was a bonus, had fridge and safe.
no lift so might be problem for elderly/unfit guests, the old furniture was not in good order, not much English spoken, might appear impersonal to some. no ironing facilities.
Excellent location, easy reacheable if late arrival, unexpectable at Italy breakfast, helfull and smiling staff
Poor soundproof, no any hot water all three days staying, antique furniture required repair, be ready for fighting with Mosquitos, inside the wardrobe You can aссidentally met previous visitors underwear...
Good breakfast Nice decor
Air conditioner didn't work. Some street noise.
Kind staff, location, architecture of the building, clean room, comfortable bed. Breakfast was ok.
It was a bit noisy when window was open. No elevator.
The location of Relais Centro Storico is excellent, on the main street between the railway station and the river. The rooms of our suite were mostly spacious.
The bathroom was a bit small when compared to the rest of the suite. Taking a shower was a bit of an ordeal in the cramped space. This is the only complaint I have regarding the accommodation.
We enjoyed a wonderful dinner in to town nearby. The hotel is clean and peaceful.
Decor is dated.
The location is very good as it is on the main shopping street an d lots of good restaurants. The breakfasts were fabulous, the best we experienced in Italy despite staying in some more up market hotels. The Wi Fi connection was good and my bathroom was very well equipped
Entrance and stairs are a bit dark and dull. The bedrooms are rather dated and old fashioned
Staff very friendly. Everything, train station, leaning tower, restaurants etc all within walking distance. We were made to feel at home The breakfast was a good start to the day and the manager was pleased to arrange our transport back to the airport on our departure. Would definitely stay here again.
We stayed here twice in one week and had a different room each time. The second room was not quite as luxurious as the first and the air conditioning was noisy, but apart from those minor points, nothing bad to say.
We liked the 'family' atmosphere. Staff were friendly and were able to answer any questions we had. Excellent location for us, though maybe not for all as it is on a pedestrian street and for some could be a bit noisy in the early hours of the morning. We are used to travelling in Italy and the B&B was everything that we expected and wanted. If you are wanting a 'hotel' experience in Pisa this would not be the place for you. All in all we had a fantastic time and would definitely return.
The hair dryer in our room was not working properly. We reported this 3 times, but it was never fixed. Not a massive problem though.
Charming fin de siecle style of room, quiet, excellent breakfast, everything worked.
Location was perfect and hotel was very traditional
Parking was very fraught as area is not designed for cars
Everything - the lovely room, the old-fashioned charm of the building and furnishings, the lovely, helpful staff, the brilliant breakfast, plentiful hot water in the shower etc etc
Typical small Hotel. Unusual almost Renaissance decor. Perfect location for the tourist. Very helpful staff. Located on a pedestrianised street.
Room overlooking street was noisy at night. Needed to find the right combination of air con/window. If all else fails they do supply ear plugs
Great breakfast buffet, very friendly staff, perfect location to discover Pisa
A bit loud if you are in a room facing the main shopping street and noise at night bothers you.
