This was a super clean and quiet small boutique hotel very close to everything you would want to see in Pisa. It was made special by Adriana's attention to all personal details of our time at Relais dei Mercanti in Pisa. Not only did she make us coffee when we came in from shopping, she recommended restaurants as well as tried to help us with booking in our next destination.
Being new to the area it was a bit of a challenge to find.
Right in the middle of everything. Parking is a challenge but we chose the underground garage which worked out well.
a bit noisy from the street on a Friday night
Steep stairs would be difficult for mature or handicapped guests.
We'll placed for the old town and good restaurant .
We rented the triple apartment with two rooms and were very pleased. We were greeted with a choice of drink as we checked in. It was excellent to have two rooms as the little one could go to bed early and we did not disturb him. We were offered a cot on arrival but did not need one. Friendly helpful staff and would definitely return.
Because its central location it’s impossible to get it by car (difficult to find it, driving through very narrow and crowded streets), and it’s really difficult to park nearby. No reception after 9pm, so make sure to tell them when you are arriving. In spite of all, might it be one of the best place to stay in Pisa (knowing that it's not a hotel, there's not 24h reception and it's better if you don't have car)
The best of this B&B it’s the friendly staff, the young woman who was there (I should have asked for her name) couldn’t be more helpful and kind to us. The room was spacious and clean. Its location is perfect to visit the main attractions and very close to the best shopping street and the river.
One small criticism was that some of the breakfast items were stale.
Andriene and Martina were great hosts and lovely girls who went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The whole hotel was absolutely spotless and a credit to the two girls. Our room was huge by European standards and was wonderfully decorated. A totally enjoyable experience and a hotel we could heartily recommend.
I really liked the girls working at the relais. Very helpful and service minded
Staff very friendly Small private and special
the location is perfect, the room comfortable and the staff helpful.
excellent staff, friendly and helpful. Near to bars and restaurants and walking distance to the Leaning Tower. Room was fantastic although not a view as such if you are wanting one.
the staff were excellent, rooms were lovely
Really helpful staff advised what to see (other than the LT) and where to eat in Pisa.
The bar below was quite noisy at night, but not the venue's fault. Local parking is tricky at best, but entertaining.
Clean, central, nicely decorated, good breakfast, great service.
Very friendly welcome. Spacious and very clean accommodation. Also good location and excellent recommendation of restaurants. Would definitely stay again if in Pisa
The staff were very helpful and always friendly. As a solo traveler this is especially important and puts you immediately at ease. The rooms are just what you need for a short stay and it felt very homely. Would recommend to other travellers and would definitely use again.
no parking, a little bit noisy
location design of the room friendliness of staff
Thin pillows Moulting/shedding towels
Great location Spotless room & bathroom Good host Nice decor
There are many stairs up to hotel level. It was difficult for our taxi to locate. The outside does not promise such a lovely spot.
A totally redone B and B. Family owned. Rooms are comfortable, bathrooms very modern. Staff was very helpful. There is a great restaurant in the same square. We could walk to the tower etc.
Very new. super clean. staff very friendly and informative
5 minute walk from nearest taxi rank. Bit of a pain to drag bags. More of a pain if you had a car. Not a full hotel - no manned reception - make sure you tell them when you're arriving. Worked fine for us though. No problems.
The staff were lovely and very helpful. Interesting conversion of old building. 2 minutes from main smart shopping street. 10 mins from airport by taxi
difficult to find first day More a B and B than a hotel
location and helpful staff
Everything was super, the location, the house, the room. The girls are very kindly. Great place, I suggest it for everybody.
Unfortunately the hotel is located next to an area that has become very popular among youngsters that go out at night. On weekdays it was pretty noisy until 1.30 am, the weekend until 3.00 am. Depending on which room you get, this might a problem. (It bothered us when we were in a room that was facing the main street, but the last night we were moved to a different room where you could not hear any noise).
The hotel is located in the very centre of Pisa. The staff was very helpful and the facilities are new and in very good conditions.
