Surrounded by the Tuscan countryside, 5 miles from Lucca, Relais Del Lago is a 17th-century stone country house. Its large grounds feature a pool with jacuzzi corner. Being made to feel completely at home, even when I checked in late. Free use if the owner's bike. A few free snacks & drinks in the mini- bar (a very nice touch). Beautiful property & surroundings. Very good breakfast. Only staying for two days was a mistake. Staying here without your own transport might not be so good, unless the weather is great and you just want to a few peaceful days to relax.

Nice structure and position. Good service and friendly staff. Clean and well decorated rooms. Good breakfast. Nothing serious to say. Just a couple of details if one wants to be picky. For the price I'd expected a bathtub in the room. The coffee machine is somehow poor for the italian standard.

We travelled through the industrial areas outside Florence and imagined the hotel next to a factory. Then we wound up into the hills and discovered this beautiful farmhouse with wide sweeping lawns, sparkling pool and beautiful traditional rooms. The owners were so helpful and, as their 5 star restaurant was fully booked, they recommended a trattoria 300 ms up the road - it was the best meal of homemade Tuscan food we have ever hard. We have a lovely walk around the Lake, a leisurely swim in the pool and wanted to stay much, much longer. Our stay was too short.

We had just finished a week of walking in Florence and wanted to explore the countryside. Relais Del Lago was wonderful. Collectively we had two accommodations: the large apartment and two person room. Both were lovely. Breakfasts were excellent and the grounds were relaxing. An excellent choice.

L'accueil etait chaleureux et tout le personnel est aux petits soins. Le cadre est magnifique. C'est au calme et l'on a une vue superbe. On peut dejeuner agreablement sur la terrasse. Le petit dejeuner esy excellent et copieux.. Tout etait parfait ! Rien a dire !

Beleza do lugar. Tranquilidade e atencao dos proprietarios. Restaurante tambem muito bom e preco justo.Parabens a Elisa e Alessandro Poderia ter uma seta com orientacao do local, pois nao e facil achar.

Hotel familial situé dans une vieille demeure bien restaurée, charmants propriétaires. Au calme sur les flancs d'une colline, à quelques km de Lucca. Lorsque le restaurant est fermé, d'excellentes adresses sont à proximité. Bureau un peu étroit pour travailler.

Tranquillità, cortesia, ambiente confortevole e familiare. Struttura immersa nel verde ad un passo dalla città e dalle innumerevoli attrazioni della provincia lucchese. Per chi cerca anche la buona cucina, il relais dispone di un ottimo ristorante.

L'environnement est superbe. L'accueil est chaleureux. Les chambres sont très agréables. Un peu cher hors saison lorsque l'on ne profite pas de la piscine. Nous n'avons pas choisi de manger sur place le soir car nous n'avions pas très faim et que nous souhaitions quelque chose de simple. La trattoria à côté nous a été renseignée par les propriétaires. Très bon accueil mais plats très moyens.

Le genre agriturismo demeure de charme,le bâtiment superbement restauré,l'environnement:le parc,le petit lac,la piscine,l'aménagement de l'ensemble,la grande et originale chambre( elisa)à la décoration soignée ,confortable,la salle de bains vaste et à l'équipement "design". Mention spéciale à la cuisine à la fois traditionnelle et inventive,commentée avec compétence et professionalisme par Mr.Alessandro. Un endroit paradisiaque à recommander.
