If you go to Rome you don't stay in and watch the Tv..That said..the Tv channels really are very bad..Channles for UK visitors don't exist at all. Again having said that you don't go to Rome and Watch TV..
At the hotel..close, by to all areas..walkable but be prepared to walk..Maps aren't the best would suggest a better map with a bigger scale access to most areas from the hotel.,friendly staff, happy to help.excellent hotel.
Liked it all!
Recommended by Daily Telegraph and it didn't disappoint - lovely boutique hotel ideal for all the sites of Rome
The room and in particular the bathroom were small. I guess this is normal in a major capital city like Rome but I expected more for the price we paid. This was a Deluxe room and it was supposed to be larger than the other standard doubles. We had the room shown in the pictures that has stairs leading to a loft. The loft was effectively useless as there was only a sofa there but no tv or window. There was only a small wardrobe in the room but no chest of drawers. Most of our clothes were on shelves.
Very friendly staff. Always happy to help. The room was beautifully decorated. We had a four poster bed (Deluxe room) which was beautiful. The bed was very big and comfy. Good shower. Quiet street. We slept very well. We didn't hear any noises coming from other guests' rooms. Only minutes away walking to main attractions: 5 minutes to Campo di Fiori, 10 minutes to Vatican, 5-10 minutes to Piazza Navona, 20 min to Trastevere. A bit longer to Colosseum but doable in 30 min. Nice breakfast: lots of options, including cooked food (eggs and bacon). The wifi worked perfectly in the room.
excellent location, friendly staff and comfortable large suite
Room was lovely and the hotel was near everything so we were able to walk everywhere. Loads of restaurants nearby.
Phone reception is poor but hotel has good WiFi
Very high standards from friendly & polite staff. Hotel is in an excellent location and within walking distance of most major sights. Breakfast is good and rooms are cleaned & changed on a daily basis. Hotel is warm and cosy in a very quiet location.
Small room, no place to put your luggage. Bath very dangerous, especially after a shower. I was deadly afraid that I was going to fall and hurt myself badly. Made sure to be very careful when leaving the shower. Bathroom had minmal ventilation uncomfortable for guest and roommate.
Location! Location! Quiet street, vicinity to all major attraction. Great bed. friendly staff and helpful.
the smell of cigarette smoke in the entrance
I loved everything
The staff, room, facilities & location are all excellent.
This was a wonderful small hotel on a quiet baroque street. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the room spacious and very comfortable, and they offered an excellent breakfast. Highly recommended.
The location is great, convenient to all the key sights in Rome. The room was spacious and quite comfortable. We will return here on our next Rome visit.
Most of the things specially the Chinese bath products You expect some European product from 4 star hotel in Rome
Staff were nice
Slightly disappointed by room, large but not quite as luxurious as description.
If you are tall you need care in the bedroom corridor - but part of the charm!
Staff, location, breakfast. We had a balcony overlooking the inner courtyard. We liked the age of the building and how it had been adapted to hotel use.
The balcony was overtaken by 2 air-conditioning units which pumped out hot air and made a lot of noise (this made the balcony virtually unusable). This also meant we couldn't leave the windows open to let in any fresh air (room no. 302)
The style of the room was lovely and the location was perfect.
The staff were very friendly and helpful before and during our stay. We had an early flight and knew we couldn't get into the room until 3 o'clock but leaving our bags at the reception was no problem. On checking out, again, our flight was late in the evening so after leaving the room, we left our bags again and even used the staff bathroom to freshen up before leaving for the airport. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Room great, breakfast great, overall stay great.
Very clean. Lots of amenities. Friendly staff who speak good English. Good breakfast. Near Vatican. On a good street.
No microwave Huge fluffy pillows No English channels on TV Coffee was pretty bad (nice that they have it but it wasn't drinkable to me)
Extremely comfortable beds Beautiful apartment Flat screen TV in each room (3 total) Complimentary slippers Wicker drawers in the bathroom Loved Piazza Navona which is very close Great wardrobes
Had excellent stay Great room with character and charm All staff extremely attentive Excellent location in town
Nothing really - maybe some milk for a cup of tea? (very English!!) The downstairs breakfast room was a bit dingey but the breakfast was lovely so can't complain.
Lovely airy ceilings in our room. Everything cleaned and tidied every day. Air con! Quiet location. Good shower with plenty of toiletry products supplied and restocked. Complimentary water
As nice as the rooms were - and as central as they were, I did think it was expensive for what it was. The breakfast was a bit uninspiring - standard bread, cakes and cold cuts available. But maybe this is a good thing, because it is impossible to spend time in Rome without overindulging on the food each meal time.
I had booked a standard room and was shocked to see the size of the room in person - it was *very* small, esp given the cost. We asked reception if there were any other rooms available (we would have paid for a bigger room) but they were full. However, in the morning we were told that a room had become available and that they'd be happy to upgrade us, for free. The new room was indeed much more spacious and I was very impressed by how nice the staff were about this. Both rooms were exceptionally quiet and the beds extremely comfortable - you can be certain you will have an excellent night's sleep here. The location is also brilliant, you couldn't be more central if you tried.
Staff were not that welcoming or professional---not bad but not particularly warm/helpful. Public spaces are awful, but the rooms and location compensate for that.
Very pretty rooms, great location
Rooms are in a very good condition, but the decor is a bit dated. Don't expect a boutique hotel.
Very quiet location considering being so central. We are light sleepers, but slept very well even though our room faced the street. The beds were also very comfortable. Perfect location for exploring Rome. Breakfast was good. Nice and helpful staff.
Great room, wifi.
Pretty small bathroom
The hotel is beautiful and the staff is really nice!
