The location and the historic atmosphere of the hotel.

The quality of the kitchen at dinner was a disappointment.

We have stayed at this hotel previously. It is very conveniently situated in the town with beautiful views down the Val D'Orcia. The staff are helpful and friendly and the breakfast is varied and plentiful. However, we did not take an evening meal so can't comment on the quality of the restaurant food. Because our stay was for 6 nights, I think the hotel upgraded us into a suite which was very nice and spacious.

Though our room was very nice, unfortunately one of the beds was very uncomfortable (as though the springs had gone on one side) giving one the feeling of falling out of bed! We did mention this to the reception but I think the remedy was lost in translation. Also, if your room is overlooking the cloisters, take some earplugs as the jackdaws nest above which can be very noisy in the night and early morning.

The staff was great. The rooms are dated even though we had 6 couples and made the reservation well in advance the rates where different for half the rooms and they didn't seem to be much different. The breakfast was excellent. The location best in Pienza.

No wi fi included in price. Seems over priced for the value.

Great place. Our only problem was the hotel is in restricted car zone. The city sign says cars are permitted to park in the city for 15 minutes if you are staying in a hotel. We parked for 10 minutes to find the hotel and when we returned to our car we had an expensive parking ticket. We were disappointed and annoyed that the hotel staff was unwilling to help us work with the police to correct this unfair ticket.

The hotel Relais ii Chiostro Di Pienza is in a wonderful location. The views are breathtaking, and, in summer the pool is areal bonus.

The room was basic and neglected ( light globes missing from 3 light fittings) and no soap in the bathroom. Some staff members were not very approachable.

O serviço, o tamanho e o conforto do quarto e abelha da cidade

Ero già stata in questo albergo due anni fà, devo dire che ci siamo trovati benissimo, avevamo prenotato una classica per una notte, inaspettatamente la Signorina della reception ci ha informato che visto che eravamo già stati loro ospiti ci ha offerto una Deluxe in omaggio, con la vista sulle colline della Vald'orcia che io adoro!! Poi visto il meteo favorevole e I dintorni da "cartolina" da visitare, abbiamo approfittato e ci siamo fermati una notte in più. Direi che siamo stati veramente molto bene, bella camera, ed ottima colazione al mattino sulla terrazza, ci torneremo presto.

Posizione centrale

Tutto è stato perfetto a cominciare dalla gentilezza dello staff. Pulizia ottima.Colazione abbondante e servizio impeccabile. WiFi libero, ma non nelle camere, solo al piano terra. Da consigliare.

Credevo di trovare il bagno con la doccia, invece c'era la vasca e mancava anche l'appoggio per appendere "il telefono" per fare la doccia.

A localização e a história do local.

Solicitei uma reserva em um restaurante que me foi indicado, e a funcionária me explicou por duas vezes marcando num mapa um caminho que levava para fora da cidade. Peguei o carro e fiquei rodando sem achar o local por mais de 20 minutos, entao retornei ao hotel e perguntei novamente e a funcionária explicou o mesmo caminho para fora da cidade... rodei mais 20 minutos, até que perguntei para uma pessoa que estava caminhando pela cidade. enfim, resumindo, o restaurante ficava a cerca de 200 metros do hotel, a pé dava cerca de 2 minutos!!! Minha esposa grávida ficou com muita fome e chagamos no restaurante ele estava praticamente fechando, tive que convencer o proprietário a nos atender, explicando a confusão criada pelo hotel.

La posizione è eccellente, buona la cucina

Il personale è cortese ma impreparato, appena sufficiente il servizio di riordino delle camere, no parcheggio e informazioni inadeguate per quelli fuori delle mura. Il tutto sembra gestito in modo raffazzonato e improvvisato, certamente poco professionale. Le foto sono suggestive ma gli arredi non hanno molta corrispondenza.
