To all the lovely staff I loved the quaintness of the hotel, small but perfectly comfortable, with a good sized bedroom and very roomy bathroom. I particuarly liked the surprise of the led lights in the wall of the shower. Just enough light in the middle of the night to not have to turn on a main light. The quiet central courtyard was very pretty and a welcome relief from the busy Rome streets just a few feet away. I only stayed for 2 nights but would have loved a longer stay. I would certainly stay again and will recommend you to friends coming to Rome.

Splendid location in charming Trastevere with tram 8 at hand. Perfect to reach all interesting parts of Rome. The rooùm was simple but spotlessly clean. No traffic noise whatsoever. The staff were very helpful and extremely kind.

Great location - close to all the name building and 2 minutes from the river. Great staff, good fun, a happy team. met the owner who just wanted to please. Very pleasant, chatty breakfast person, who spoke 5 languages! Good enough room; maybe a bit narrow, but very good bed. All in all, a good place - we would probably go back.

Need more variety re the breakfast menu - I started to look like a boiled egg after 4 days of them...... Not enough information in the room re what is on offer - how to work the safe; how to get the most out of the air conditioning/heating The lack of a lounge is restricting but I understand that this links to price

The staff were excellent - particularly Gloria who went out of her way to help when the heating in our room broke down. We were lent a heater, and the problem was sorted out efficiently the following day (we arrived Sun night). Breakfast was also particularly good too, and the shower in the room was AMAZING. I'd stay again :)

The hotel is located just a short stroll away from the bars and restaurants. The room was lovely with a brick vaulted ceiling The room was constantly kept warm Breakfast was plentiful and the coffee was good. The staff are excellent

That's how I imagined true Italian hotel! Extremely friendly staff, amazing inner garden and best home-made croissants for breakfast! I will definitely come back here! Special thanks to Sergio and Russian girl in the restaurant.

Everything was just perfect

We really liked the location and the helpful staff, specially Cristina. She makes an excellent capuccino in the breakfast and offered some fruit to our children before our departure (to eat during the trip). There are some good and cheap restaurants near the hotel and it was safe to walk nearby. Also Gloria and Sergio were so helpful. Thank you for all! We want to come back!

The staff was pleasant and friendly, especially the lady in charge of breakfast. The location is good, near nice restaurants, the tram line, the river.

We went on our honeymoon and my wife asked me to book something relaxing with a Jaccuzzi, so, based on the reviews, the executive suite of the Relais seemed like a good idea. Well, it turns out the main feature of our room was broken. The Jaccuzzi could not heat the water, did not have operational jets, no lights etc. What is worse is that when I went to inquire about it they knew and claimed the repairman had already been called. What is even worse is that, reading the more recent reviews, I see that the Jacuzzi was broken according to a review 3 weeks before our stay! And what is insulting is that their solution was to give us a 10% discount, when our suite was a full 30% more expensive than the non- Jaccuzzi one. I did not want to make a fuss on my honeymoon, besides there was only a reception girl there, so I let it pass... Other negatives are the smell of mold in the Jaccuzzi area, the sewage smell in the bathroom and the fact that there was no acknowledgement this was our honeymoon (except the reservation response email), forget the rose petals you see in the photos. Also, there was a table in front of our front door where people would sit and chat and be heard quite clearly from our bed... I would suggest to avoid the suites, for your special moments you can do better (and not more expensive either).

Very friendly and helpful staff. Room and facilities were newly renovated and clean. Room was quiet despite busy neighborhood.

Very comfortable and clean. So much history since it was a convent. Loved the breakfast! The hotel staff were very accomodating...provided lots of advice and recommendations. I would definitely go back and recommend to friends.
