Very good,
Score from 285 reviews
“ Everything about this hotel pleased my daughter and me. We were traveling in Tuscany, and needed to spend one day in Rome, in order to fly out of FCO the next day. My stay was, therefore, quite short. Both my daughter and I found both receptionists friendly, helpful and charming. ”

Ambience and location in Trastevere. Felt more like a village inn than a city hotel. Alarm sounding at 3am.

Loved the location ( an easy 4 tram stops away from the very centre of Rome); the hotel's sunny courtyard; the kindness of the staff and the fact that is small and cosy...ideal for a family w children

Location was excellent, Trastevere is a good location in Rome, just off the tourist beat; excellent restaurants, staff were helpful, breakfast good; room was small but adequate as was the bathroom.

The location of the hotel was superb, loads of reasonable eateries close to the hotel. The area of Trastevere is lovely, just over the bridge, 10 - 15 minute walk from the main attractions.

We stayed 1 night in room Limoni giving onto the courtyard. Location: covenient in center city but very quiet, with courtyard giving feeling of relaxed, almost in the country. Room: nice room size, bathroom size and shower is good, bed ok, no armchair but we sat outside the room in the courtyard to have our teas and read newspapers during warm hours of the day. Staff: very friendly, good services. Room: for stay longer than 1 night and in warmer season when the courtyard is in full use for breakfast, privacy for this room may be a problem because to draw the curtains would make room closed in and dark. Maybe needs a bit more potted greenery in front of the door of the room? Room price: price for off season is good; high season full price is rather expensive. Breakfast: good selection but all food is cold, including a cheese+ham pie - maybe home baked by a staff? :) - which is good, but would be even better if a microwave oven is provided to warm it up.

Everything about this hotel pleased my daughter and me. We were traveling in Tuscany, and needed to spend one day in Rome, in order to fly out of FCO the next day. My stay was, therefore, quite short. Both my daughter and I found both receptionists friendly, helpful and charming. Our room was lovely with a vaulted brick ceiling and very nice bathroom ( spotless!!) . All our needs were met. The buffet breakfast was delicious. Since I love Trastevere, I would abolutely plan to stay at Relais Le Clarisse the next time I visit Roma. There is nothing negative I have to say about Relais Le Clarisse.

Very central location, knowledgeable and friendly reception staff. very clean. breakfast was served from 8am.. for people with an agenda other than a leisurely holiday this is far too late.. we missed 2 mornings as our schedule started before 8am and other 3 mornings we had to rush breakfast in 10 minutes.. the timing has been changed from 1st November to 7.30 but this is still at least half hour later than what hotels usually offer in other parts of Europe..

Breakfast was not always the same and the choices included eggs, meats, fruit and of course breakfast pastry. The location is outstanding, easy comfortable walk to every where. If you do not feel up to the walk city transit in close by. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to help with what ever you may need. It was on the high end budget wise, but we were so happy with the location. The room a little small, but more then adequate for our 2 night stay.

Convenience was great. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, and the rooms very clean and relatively traffic noise free at night The plumbing was noisy, and you could hear the neighbours at night/morning. For the price, the room was very basic

My sister and I had a very enjoyable stay at La Clarisse. The room which overlooked the delightful courtyard, although not huge was more than adequate, for us. Immaculately clean with a well appointed bathroom and fluffy white towels replaced every morning. The breakfast was really lovely with fresh rolls, pastries, cereals, meat and cheeses and fresh fruit. More than enough to set you up for a day;s sight seeing in Rome. All the staff at Le Clarisse were friendly and extremely helpful. Advised and booked our Vatican trip which was wonderful. There are plenty of delightful restaurants and pizzarias just a hop, skip and a jump away which is great after a full day sight seeing.

It was very clean and in an old beautiful building with vaulted ceilings. The rooms were normal size for Rome and it was very quiet except for the front door of the hotel which slammed (loudly) when guests came and went. The shower was a nice size and the place had old world elegant charm.

Friendly and welcoming staff that proved to be very helpful for restaurant advice. Possible to leave luggage if there too early for check- in. Very nice patio where we can take the breakfast. Nice breakfast.Big beds. Big shower. Very clean. Perfect location in the heart of Trastevere. We waited until the last minute to book and saw the price going down from 260 pounds for 2 nights for a double room with garden view (patio view) to 160 pounds. At that price, nothing to say ! But at 260 pounds we wouldn't have book it, and now that we've been there, it is definitely overpriced.
