A little overpriced for what you get. Breakfast was depressing/limited for a Rome boutique hotel, room layout was a bit bizarre and cramped for a junior suite, even for Rome. Front lock to enter building after hours was sketchy and difficult to open, lock on room door was weak, staff was okay, helpful, and friendly enough but not memorable. Shower had dirt/stains in-between tiles, sink was backed up, AC only covered the main room, not the hallway where they stuffed the second bed. Room had a weird vibe. Worst issue was the construction noise from renovations in the room right next door in the morning. After 24 hours of traveling from Hawaii, that was not welcome the first couple of mornings...and staff was a bit bothered when we complained about it.
Trastavere is cool, near Tram and taxi stop, great places to eat nearby, courtyard of the hotel was great, main bed was comfortable for a bed in Rome. Room very quiet at night which is a huge plus.
