Location is great WiFi speed is great
The room is cold , if you open the heater it will become dry so you have to choose what is better. There is no elevator , when you have a baby and carrosal this becomes headache becuse you will have to climb the stairs to level 1
very bad service,
Great facilities. Like staying in an apartment. Fridge. Remember to contact staff prior to departure as there was not staff all the time.
Bad smell at times. Court yard not as expected which meant bad view, but more expensive rooms did not have this problem.
This was in the middle of everything. Just exit the B&B and your in walkingdistance of almost all the big tourist attractions in Rome. Very nice view from the bedroom window. Very nice och helpfull staff and owners.
Could be a bit tough to find if you dont have a good idea what your looking for.
Loved this apartment. It was spacious with a great view of Piazza Navona. The location was fantastic and the apartment was very clean.
We enjoyed our stay we would maybe suggest aicrowave for guests to use in the common room.
Relais Navona 71 really gave us a unique experience. We had a room overlooking the Piazza Navona, which was really magical. It was fantastic to have the window open and just look out, or lay back and enjoy the sound of the hustle and bustle and buskers outside. It really isn't noisy with the window closed, so we did not find this an issue at all. The weather was fab, so it was no doubt much busier than your average November! I can't believe anyone would fuss about the front door that other reviewers have mentioned - sure it is an old wooden door, but unless you are the snobby type that scoffs at anything less than a 5-star hotel then it really won't bother you - there is nothing unsafe about it. We felt it was absolutely charming, strolling through the Piazza past the busy restaurants, and walking up to the door as if you are local residents. It gives the feeling of typical apartment living, so we loved it! The room is big enough, nicely decorated in a modern style, and everything worked as expected. The staff were great, very friendly and helpful, especially with leaving cases after checkout. The location is amazing, and for the money I can't imagine how we could have done better - superb value, highly recommended.
Staying in the Piazza Navona! Modern rooms.
Rooms at back with no view are small, shower head didn't have holder so it had to be manually held. Explained to owner I'm planning on surprising my partner with a proposal and requested nice room, on arrival the printout of my request was visable on the sheet he asked us both to sign!
Perfect location, right on Piazza Navona.
The location of this hotel is awesome. Piazza Navona is one of the best areas to stay, and is easily walkable to all of Rome's major sights. The hotel is modern and Wi-Fi worked great. Good recommendations from the staff on places to eat as well. I would stay here again.
Location Very clean
Room # 5. Felt like a dungeon. Windows looked out onto inside entrance. Room very tiny and cramped.
I especially liked the breakfast in "Dolce Vita” in Piazza Navona and the the tranquility and comfort of the room. People in the reception were always very nice and available.
The accessibility is a problem for someone who is not in good physical form. Before reach the bedroom you will have a very sloping stairway but is the only negative point that I can point out.
Nice location in walking distance of most of the attractions in Rome and quite a few good restaurants are located in Piazza Navona , which means two minutes walk to get a very nice dinner or meal.
Some bad comments from one of the waiters at the breakfast place downstairs, complaining about us being late for breakfast.
the room is not bad
Fridge not working. Horrible entry. Bad staircase. Lousy breakfast. Very expensive.
-free nespresso -daily service -quiet nights -central location -excellent wifi (and included)
The location is awesome. Right in the Piazza Navona. Being in this huge city for the first time, there was no better location. The piazzas is safe, clean, and lively. Our room looked out right on the piazza so that was the best part. When we checked in they made us espresso...very nice. We didn't see anyone around after that. It was like renting more of an apartment than staying at a hotel. The room was immaculate, but we did miss that "hotel" feel. Otherwise, I would totally recommend this hotel to anyone. Be warned though, no elevator. We severely over packed and paid dearly for it having to carry heavy suitcases up the 3 flights of stairs.
- Location - Staff (very friendly & helpful) - Modern / Renovated room - Free WiFi - Overall great value!
We booked a room that overlooked the Piazza, it was clean, modern, with a high ceiling so gave a great feel. Good aircon, flat screen tv, in room safe and good wifi. But the selling point is the view, we just opened the window and looked out diretly on the Piazza,we people watched for ages, and of course the beautifil fountains. the windows are doulble glazed so had no issue with noise. a great little B&B hotel. We loved it!
i have read previous comments about the entrance to the building etc. Yes, you enter through an old door with peeling paint, into a shared interior lobby, its old and even shares the access with one of the many restuarant kitchens. Dont be deterred, we have stayed in a few places in Rome and its pretty much a recurring theme, then there are the stairs to the second floor and suitcases etc again a recurring theme in Rome. But once inside the door to the B&B the world changes. Modern, cool, clean, quiet and friendly
We had a perfect view of Piazza Navona from our windiw. The front door is right in Piazza Navona with a great selection of restaurants. The facilities were great. The included breakfast was very fresh and tasty. The location is easy access to many sights in Rome within a few minutes of walking. I would stay there again if the occasion arose.
Being an old building means no elevators, making luggage carrying a physical activity. This is less a negative and more a warning to people who travel heavy with a lot of luggage or perhaps have difficulty moving about. Also, the hotel entrance is right in the piazza so the taxi can only get so close requiring visitors to manoever through cobble stoned streets and sidewalks with their luggage for at least 100 meters.
- fabulous LOCATION ! - HOTEL STAFF - when he was there! was very nice and helpful - our ROOM was very nice/clean! - LOVELY breakfast each morning and very nice waiters !
- AIR CONDITIONING did NOT work and we suffered from the HEAT . . . - there was NEVER ANYONE "on duty" at the hotel, if we had needed someone for assistance . . . we are WORLD TRAVELERS and know everything but "average tourists" may need someone at the FRONT DESK for assitance . . .
Amazing location with the best view(opening windows) onto the piazza and surprising quiet when windows were closed. Free espresso's and bottled water each day was a pleasant surprise. Very modern and clean room. The location itself made it feel like you were part of the action. You could see and hear the performers in the piazza and feel the hum of diners at all the restaurants. Best money spent!
The location of Relais Navona 71 is fabulous right on the Piazza Navona. On arrival the staff were very friendly (Eirenn) who welcomed us and showed us to our room. The room is spacious, modern, very clean, fresh with towels, fridge, hair dryer, iron, wi-fi and flat screen tv with sky. Really we were very pleased and impressed. The cleaner does a great job daily and the common area with nespresso machine is fabulous. Every day the cleaner leaves breakfast voucher or the following day- served at Dolce Vita which is excellent. We have been visiting the restaurant a lot and the good there and staff is superb. A discount for staying at Relais Navona 71 is also given which is nice. Overall Relais Navona 71 is excellent, the location is perfect, surrounded by lovely cafés and bars and definately worth the stay. We hope to visit again and stay here on our trips to Rome several times in the year.
The male owner was very accomadating and helpful. He gave us an upgrade for the inconvenience of having to wait. Room was super clean and comfortable. View outstanding.
The owner was not there when we arrived. The note on the door said she left at 3 pm, however we arrived at 245pm. The door was locked and we had to wait for someone to come open it and we were tired and hot from the trip.
Nice staff and owners Very central location Nice room
Very difficult to get in the hotel late hour. Very difficult to get in contact with the hotel in advance
Room no. 1 overlooking the piazzawas excellent
Virtually unstaffed and extremely difficult to access and deal with luggage. Smelly kitchen at entrance. One room was inferior; the second time we enjoyed the superior room which overlooked thee piazza
