Perfect location and a perfect base to explore the southern part of Tuscany. Room was excellent, very spacious and nicely decorated with antique furniture. Breakfast was great! It was a great experience overall, I would definetely stay there again! |

The hotel was nice and quiet. It is good for relaxing which is our purpose. We just wish we stayed in the hotel instead of the one that is separated which is at least 100 meter walk to the hotel. The lady in the breakfast room was fabulous! She doesn't speak much English but her smile and politeness makes up for it. She was pleasant and friendly. The spread was also fabulous! The rooms were spacious but the bathroom smells like a sewer. We were on the 3rd floor and the noise from the cars passing by were just not what we wanted to hear in the early morning. It was a one way street and the thought that it was not a main street, the noise would be minimal but there was a heavy traffic in the morning that bother our extra sleep that we wanted. There is also a downstairs hair salon that we can hear the chats and laughter of people who were there. |

Quiet, elegant retreat with a beautiful private garden made this hotel an excellent base for visiting neighbouring towns and vineyards that produce the amazing Brunellos. Our very pretty room opened onto the garden and had ancient authentic touches in its doors and window that conjured up images of a graceful life in times gone by. We heard only the birds, water from the fountain and the church bells as we rested each afternoon following our mornings touring Montalcino, Siena, Montepulciano. Clearly the most beautiful scenery in Tuscany. Many excellent restaurants are nearby. We were also able to park our car, for a small fee, right across from the front door. It was a most restful experience. |

The room was very spacious, with a big bathroom. The restaurant, which I think belongs to the same group (Trattoria Al Vecchio Forno), was very good. The furniture a little bit "old fashion"; no elevators to the rooms upstairs. |

Unique locaton within walled city, boutique shops, nice breakfast room, fantastic courtyard for relazing, authentic rooms. We got a ticket parked outside the hotel, who forgot to tell us there are no cars within the walls of the city. |

The hotel is beautiful, the room was so nice, comfortable and romantic. they have a beautiful garden. We got upgraded from the rooms outside to the scorpion suite which was available with the addition of only 20 Euro, so we got an excellent value for our money. Located just in the middle of town. No elevator, very difficult with the luggage. Not much to do in the city. |

The staff were extremely friendly and competent. Nothing was too much trouble. The room we had was noisy due to it's location and the stone floor of the room above. |

This is a wonderful property. It was constructed in the 14th Century and recently renovated. In the center of a mideval town. Beautiful gardens. Excellent breakfast. |

We loved this hotel! Friendly knowledgeable staff, very well maintained and infused with charm. We did not like the restaurant reccommended for dinner. Like the hotel, the restaurant was charming, however we found the food to be below our expectations. |

This is a great hotel in the middle of a wonderful small Tuscany town. The staff was friendly and helpful.The room and breakfast were great. We had a top floor room with a baclony and view. Parking for guests was available but limited. |

The surroundings of the hotel was nice. The building was also worth of seeing. The breakfast was good. I am sorry to inform that the room we got was probably the smallest room in the hotel. There was some kind of lavender scent in the room which tried to cover the smell of drain. The lavender smell crasp into your clothes which was not very nice. The personnel was not the politest type. |

A really very special hotel! The place is wonderful, great for honeymoons or romantic stays. The breakfast was very good, with typical Tuscany chesses, fruits and products. It is specially located in a very charming city, in the middle of Tuscany. You can see that everything, every detail was carefully cared by the owner. |

We loved this place, the rooms were beautiful and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with a large variety of choices. The hotel has a restaurant about a block away where we ate some of the best meals of our trip. The ladies at the desk were most helpful finding us directions and information about local activities. We would stay here again. |
