Relais Piazza Signoria  

The best things are the fantastic location,the facilities and most of all,the excellent reception staff...extremely friendly and helpful.

Kitchen facilities could be a little better. We would like a second television in living room. The noise from people in the square is significant almost all night every night...perhaps heavier windows? The directions to get to the hotel are completely inadequate....it reqired help from local people to find it and telephone calls, when it would be so easy to show the location on the square

perfect, absolutely perfect!!! Grazia a Roberto! Such a warm welcome, a great support in every question. You have a supplementary free breakfast in the room. The studio was large, in a good design, light and cozy. The location - you can't think of the better one. I'd love to come back to Florence and stay at this hotel!

Studios are small

We had a Studio Classic Extra room on the 4th floor. It far exceeded the website images! Very spacious and comfortable in every way. The kitchenette is very good too, and fridge space ample. Bathroom is quite elegant. This is more of an apartment than a hotel room. There is a small elevator that takes three people. The staff, Roberto and Fulvio are excellent. (Think New Otani Tokyo class consignieri and you get the idea!) Location is perfect, about 50 m from the Uffizi Loggia and with a view of the Pallazzio Vehccio and the David sculpture at its enterance. I definitely recommend this establishment!

Did not meet my expectations based on the web perception I had when booking

Staff were very helpful. We'd definitely stay there again!

Need to improve the driving directions, ie do not attempt to drive here as it is not accessible. Better off giving directions to the riverside to park and then walk with bags. Also rooms had scaffolding blocking the view but we were given a discounted rate so not complaining.

Great room and view of the Piazza del Signoria, close to great shopping and museums.

There was some early morning construction noises in the area that didn't allow me to sleep in.

Our apartment was on the 4th floor and we had a wonderful view of the Piazza della Signoria. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. It was a nice surprise to find some provisions for our use. The location was exciting and busy - close to the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, Uffizi and Palazzo Vecchio. The double glazed windows were very welcome at night! The apartment was very comfortable and relaxed - nice to have our own cooking facilities for a few days. It was easy to dash back in the middle of the day for a break from sightseeing. Great coffee over the road at Rivoire - and cakes! There was a laundromat not too far away.

Perfect location to visit Florence, 2 min walk from Ponte Vecchio and few minutes walk from other main attractions. Employees are very nice, we have been upgraded, then we had some refreshments offered in the appartment which was really appreciated and finally they allowed us to stay later than check out time because appartment was free. As we could not parked, they called someone from a public parking to come and pick our car and then this person bring back the car when we left (26 eur per day).

A parking would have been great as impossible to park in the city center

Altough it is not a hotel, we love it. There was no sign board outside. We found from the adress. But when we met with Rose, we feel very comfortable. She is so cude and friendly. Thanx for upgread. Our room was very comfortable espcially bed..after walking all they, sleeping in a good conditions is important. Altough we didn't use kitchen, it was also so useful. Room was very clean. The biggest thing is the perfect location. We walk everywhere also the train station(takes 10-15 minutes with lagguges). İt is in the hearth of florence. I definetly stay again ıf I have a chance to go again..

For self catering it was sadly lacking.I Would suggest the following.Decent fridge with freezer compartment,oven or at least microwave,more plates,teapot,chopping board more knives ,forks and spoons.

Fantastic location in a historic building, just steps away from the Uffizzi on Piazza Della Signorile and short walking distance from all the other attractions. Our room had a small kitchen and refrigerator and a window overlooking the Piazza. The room was modern and well-appointed. This is the place to stay when visiting Firenze.
