Location was very good, being close to Trevi fountain and the Pantheon for our tourist fix. A range of shopping close by and many good cafe's within easy walk.
We were disappointed with the allocated room that cost us more on this visit than our previous one. The room was far smaller and the bathroom less than adequate, having the smallest shower we have very had. Not a good way to end our Italian holiday. Breakfast was really ordinary. Coco pops and corn flakes as the cereal choices......Really!
Location was fantastic, easy to get to all places by foot, breakfast was delicious and variable, hosts were awesome, bed was comfortable, wifi available, highly recommend and definetly will stay again
We ordered the suit and it was large space well decorated, very comfortable bed and fine sheets, fine breakfast (don't be shy and ask for eggs), warm hosts, idial location, fast Wi-Fi (the wireless gateway was inside the room - perfect signal), large walking closet My recommendation - take the suite!
Location! Sound proof rooms even if the street in front of us was very noisy! Very clean! Nancy was more than helpful! Spacious closet!
Well situated next to the Barberini metro station, in 3-minute-walk from Trevi, to which a street of restaurants leads. Very well equipped bathroom. WiFi. A mirror on the ceiling - bonus for a romantic couple) Breakfasts served on the nice terrace.
Not very easy to find the hotel - look for a green door! A little bit embarrassing design of the rooms and hall, all is lilac with range of mirrors...
location and comfy bed
breakfast is very poor. No fresh fruit just dried selection.
the girls that worked there were wonderful from offering to make us eggs for breakfast , or cappucino or espresso, to going online to find us directions to the Harley Davidson store and calling around to see which one was open since it was Ferro Augusto they certainly went over and beyond being courteous hostesses They were outstanding!
The location and staff were great. Very clean and nicely decorated room. Comfortable bed, nice pillows and linens.
Hard wood floors in hallway allows you to hear everyone coming and going. The room air conditioning did not work and it was so hot, impossible to sleep. To open the window you had to hear the busy traffic and people in the ally below drinking, laughing and fighting. We opted for open window because of the heat but with the noise factor had to close it until 3am when the noise died down. The lovely staff was trying to make a/c better but evidently the other guests complained about the rooms being too cold, so we were the minority!
Great location within minutes walking to trevi and spanish steps. Strong wifi connection. Thats it...
The room is very small. Bathrooms are decent size but the shower is so tight it made me feel so clausterphobic!! Very basic breakfast on a small terrace with no view or anything. The lady there is very nice but she leaves at 7 pm and if something goes wrong no one can help. Our ac was not working and we had to sleep with the window open which was extremely loud. This hotel is perfect if you are just looking for a place to sleep. Otherwise, it would be wise to pay a little more and get good hotel.
Staff was great, helping with reservations, directions, buying tickets. Convienent to transportation and many sites are within walking distance. Would stay there again.
1st room was a little small with a King/Queen bed. 2nd room we stayed in was good sized. WiFi up and down,(so-so).
Location Suite area Comfort bed Cleanes
Noise at night Weak wifi signal
No air conditioning Noisy Small rooms Very bad Internet signal Very bad quality of food
Great location. Clean. Friendly staff.
Maybe it's the peak season that commanded such a high price for a simple place like this. But with the money paid, I really don't see the value for money. Have stayed in (much) cheaper place with not much difference, and (slightly) more costly place with much better offerings. My suggestion is to go either way to stretch value for money. Wifi is temperamental.
good staff , good place near to everywhere
Great location, and incredible staff. Anka could not have been more helpful! We would definitely stay at the Relais Roma again.
Central location. Staff helped with mapping out attractions, parking, laundrettes etc great help
Closest dry cleaning is 30-40min walk away. Air conditioner very noisy and wouldn't turn off plus dripping water. Didn't sleep well.
Staff was very helpful and extremely nice. Breakfast was well done. Bathroom was clean and modern. Location walking distance to Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, very central.
Hotel room could be the smallest I have ever stayed in, not enough room for two people to walk around at same time. Air conditioning controlled by the front desk/office, and was turned off at night which made it very uncomfortable, opened window which allowed for outside noise. Location is very difficult to find, many shop owners in neighborhood did not know where it was located when asking for directions.
Convenient location. Most sites within short walking distance.Safe to walk around
Too noisy. In desperate need of double glazing. We didn't sleep at all the 1st &2ndnight. Poor breakfast, no fruit whatsoever,no boiled eggs or any other protein apart from yogurt.Only one set of keys, therefore no independence whatsoever for double room visitors since reception was not there after 19:00. Simona was helpful and attentive but there was nothing she could do about any of the above problems. Air conditioner centrally operated by reception. No autonomy. No twin beds, only double ones.
The position of the hotel was ideal for everything (about two minute walk to trevi fountain). The hotel was clean. Although you could hear noise from traffic it would not deter me from choosing this hotel again. Breakfast was taken on a patio with one large table for everyone to use. Although some people may consider this to be a negative, I felt that it gave you an opportunity to talk to different people and find out how they Were enjoying their break Rome. We stayed in the esmeraldo room. It wasn't huge but ample enough for you to be comfortable. T he bathroom was very nice and clean.
Nothing really. I would definitely return to this hotel.
Great bed and breakfast, great location. Very friendly, nice quiet room. Would definately recommend.
Absolutely the best accommodation we have stayed in. The position perfect, easy walking to most of what Rome has to offer. The staff were exceptional. We will definitely return.
Great location within 10-15mins walk of most attractions in Rome and close to an abundance of restaurants. Hotel staff are helpful and friendly and room was very spacious and comfortable
Can be a little noisy due to tourist. location is near trevi fountain and restaurants and windows don't bloke out a lot of sound
Like Sleeping on the Motorway
Not being able to control Air Conditiining in your own room.
The premises was clean and the decor and furnishings were fine. The location of the hotel is first class; Fontana Di Trevi is located just down the road, Piazza Barberini Underground Station is located at the other end and a very wide selection of restaurants is to be found in all directions especially going down to Fontana Di Trevi. Make sure you pay a visit to That's Amore. First Class restaurant throughout and truly value for money.
If you happen to be a diabetic then make sure that you provide your own breakfast as otherwise they only provide you with one apple for each day of your stay, even though they had been advised previously of my condition. Otherwise for a boutique hotel the breakfast is sufficient. If you happen to be allocated one of the two rooms which is next to the breakfast area then prepare your self for some noise in the morning. However it was not too much of a hassle.
