Relais San Bruno  

This is an incredible place with the most wonderful hospitality we have experienced. Our room was like a cottage, and it was private. The view of San Biagio & Montepulciano was breathtaking. The breakfast was lovely. It was too cold for the pool, but I would like to return just to use it. It's an infinity pool with a view of the valley, just spectacular. Alberto had great touring & dining recommendations. I just put aside my itinerary & used his advice. It was just a special place. I would definitely return.

Alberto and staff are very friendly and helpful. Facilities are very well maintained. Fairy tale setting with Montepulciano medieval buildings and village in background and Tuscan landscape surrounding resort. English spoken. Easy access from freeway Florence-Rome.

Relais San Bruno was quite simply stunning!! Alberto the owner gives a very personal service and can not do enough to help you with making your stay unforgettable - advising on everything from restaurants to vineyards to local places to visit both on and off the tourist routes. His staff follow up on the great service. The location is idyllic and a wonderful place to relax: looking up at the basilica and town of Montepulciano on one side and views of the Tuscan countryside on the other and is also idealy situated close to Pienza and Val d'Orcia. The rooms are beautifully furnished with a fantastic attention to detail and exceptionally clean. We'll be back!!

Had a lovely time at Relais San Bruno. The staff were knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. It is in a beautiful setting and the perfect place for relaxing and seeing the local area.

Be prepared for an uphill walk to get into Montepulciano.

A very beautiful Villa, everything is fine

If you are looking for the best place to stay in Montepulciano, your search is over. I can't imagine a better experience that what Alberto provides at Relais San Bruno. Situated just our of town at the base of the town the private estate setting provides a relaxing stay in beautiful surrounding with rooms that are large and luxurious. We stayed in both the cottage and the rooms and both were exceptional. The cottage provides a two room stand alone villa experience, impreccably furnished, with a small kitchen and sitting room...shower but no bath tub The rooms are a little more modern with a full tub provided. You can't go wrong with either. We loved our stay there and will return again.

Would have liked to have a small reading lamp by the couch in the room so I could read at night without disturbing my wife. Other than that small item, there are really no cons.

Uma pousada "roteiro de charme" bem tranqüila e equipada

Ficamos na Royal Suite - um chalé no estilo típico toscano, muito charmoso, amplo e com uma vista maravilhosa para os vinhedos, Templo de San Biagio e Montepulciano. A arrumação do qt e banheiro era impecável. A equipe era pequena, mas fornecia atendimento individualizado com muita gentileza sempre. O café da manhã é gostoso, variado e bem caseiro. A área externa é cheia de atrativos para quem gosta do campo e quer relaxar. Há bancos, redes e balanços em meio a jardins e árvores. No pomar, encontramos várias qualidades de maçã (delícia provar cada tipo), limão siciliano, pera e, não podiam faltar, os cachos de uva nas parreiras (doces e saborosas) e as oliveiras. O sol da Toscana brilhava forte e gostoso sobre nós. / everithing was perfect!

Não há pontos negativos, mas lembro que é necessário estar de carro, já que o hotel é fora da cidade. / nothing, but car is needed, since the hotel is outside of city.

Unkomplizierter Kontakt nach der Buchung. Persönlicher, äusserst freundlicher Empfang durch den Chef. Orientierung über Anlage, Zimmerbezug, Ausflugsmögoglichkeiten, Restaurantempfehlungen ausführlich. Obwohl ausgebucht, hatten wir immer das Gefühl, für uns zu sein. Die Lage, unterhalb Montepulciano, ist ideal um zu Fuss das Städtchen zu besuchen oder am Abend zum Essen zu gehen. Restaurant La Grotta sehr zu empfehlen. Vorher reservieren lassen. Unsere Gruppe, 3 Ehepaare, 60+, werden bei einer nächsten Reise San Bruno wieder wählen. Wir buchten aufgrund der Reisebeschriebe früherer Gäste. Wir können San Bruno ohne Einschränkung weiter empfehlen.

Das GPS unseres Mietwagens hatte Mühe das Relais zu finden.
