Lication is fantastic, luxury detailed, perfect service and excelent food.
The location, and the building beautiful, service fair for a 5 star hotel.
Thought the charge for the Salt Cave's which were part of hotel's spa a bit excessive. Also no English TV, only the news channel.
The hotel is situated high in the hills of piedmonte with beautiful views. The staff is friendly and kind and the restaurant is simply outstanding with tremendous food and an amazing wine cellar.
The property is lovely although the interiors could use some updating.
Environment Spa Scenery
Bed (so hard that both of us had pain both mornings) Service staff was typical Italian local hires but clealy not what I expect in a 5 star Hotel at the price point above 500 Eur per night.
Off the beaten trail a gorgeous spa boutique overlooking Piedmont vineyards and fantastic vistas from this converted monestary.
Poor wi fi. Too remote. Limited nearby towns
Location stunning Rooms beautiful Food and wine excellent Spa
Staff stiff upper lip Room charge for Room service
I will go back
The whole experience was stunningly good.
If I was very very picky then breakfast was good not great, and the shower cubicle was a bit smaller than ideal
House keeping noise wake-up us very early in the morning
This hotel is scenically located in the Piemonte wine region. Everything about this hotel is very pleasing to the eye, aesthetically pleasing, except for our room.
Our room was an embarrassment to the Relais name. Our room did not have the comfort nor cleanliness that a Relais should have. The restaurant was average at best, not Relais standards.
Great position, comfortable with excellent restaurant.
Everything. One of the best relaxing places we have been. We are coming back.
Location and facilities.
Standard services in a luxury hotel (E.G. Sauna, Salt room, gymn) required a substantial additional payment (euro 100 for me and my partner!!). Nonsense.
Restaurant is amazing , best wine list and cellar in the region . Even breakfast is a gourmet experience with the best of everything on offer.
Some rooms are very disappointing , tired and not up to the price being charged.
Remote and spacious, this luxury end Relais is beautifully maintained with a sense of historic values mixed with modern facilities. Its one of the best we have had the opportunity to stay at in this part of the world. The restaurant outside is totally outstanding...wine list five start plus
The location, staff and the pool facilities were all excellent but the spa was particularly brilliant. The restaurants were very good indeed with knowledgable and well-trained staff and a wonderful cellar.
With the outside pool quiet there were staff around on very few occasions for help with sunshades/drinks etc.
Excellent friendly staff throughout. Everything worked.
The restaurant in the basement; too dark and dreary. Hemingways Bar completely lacks atmosphere. Never saw the manager; does he/she exist?! No fault of the hotel, but the guests were a very unfriendly lot!
The view, the rooms, the staff, the spa....
The restaurant DaGuido is somewhat overrated.
The view was extraordinary
After a nine hour drive I was not amused to find that our bedroom did not have a bath. We were charged an extra 90 euros for a room with a bath. At their prices every room should have a bath. The room too did not have the comfort (cold stone floor) you expect from a five star hotel. Very poor value for money.
The Situation Service Hotel Restaurant Views from the hotel to the surrounding countryside Beer Wine TRUFFLES it was idilic!!!! we shall return
