caring owners and staff. Did everything to make stay comfortable. central location, walked everywhere easily. Enjoyed our room which was thoughtfully and elegantly designed.
Cleanliness and comfort, great location, fair pricing and very helpful owners and staff. Particularly good housekeeping and lovely breakfast delivered "on demand" to room every morning; privacy, quiet and good security. In all, an excellent experience.
For some walk up several flights of stairs could be difficult, but we found it no inconvenience.
Well presented, spacious room. Nice bathroom. Helpful, polite staff and great location for all the main sights. There were some problems with the hot water, but as I say in the title, it's in adversity you find out what a hotel is really like. Carlotta and her staff handled the situation with great thoughtfulness, and offered a number of alternatives, including offers to find alternative accommodation or a discount. Thanks for a great stay, and will come back.
Wifi signal a little weak in my room - but fine elsewhere. Seriously, that's all there is not to like.
My husband and adult son and I shared a lovely large room in this charming boutique hotel. The room had an18 foot ceiling and beautiful antique furnishings. The bathroom was new and had great water pressure. The location was ideal. It was very centrally located.
Excellent location, great staff clean and cute.
Bed was so hard it was impossible to sleep
I lived in Rome and have a good sense of what is on offer, so I half expected this was too good to be true. We needed a room for just one night, but we enjoyed our stay so much that we decided to spend two. All the staff were welcoming and the rooms were spacious and comfortable and tastefully decorated. It was also quiet, which may be because in August in Rome the city can be quite deserted, but with such an ideal location I was also pleasantly surprised.
The breakfast is basic. A few not-so-great cornetti and some Raisin Bran. Though service in the room is nice!
It is a home made 5 stars rooms, Antique style furniture top class bathroom, generous continental breakfast, two double walled glass windows for isolation. A stone through to all what you want to see in Rome. I recommend this hotel for all Rome tourists, you don't need to get the hop on hop off bus if you stayed here. he owner is nice cooperative person and Thomas the man who prepared our breakfast and who made the room is so good and helpful, Excellent value for the money
I faced one problem arising from the fact being a small place having a structure of bed & breakfast rather than a hotel. One of my bags which were lost and the airline had to deliver it to the "hotel" they came at 2 am in the morning but there is no one there to open the main gate for them, they contacted the owner on the mobile but it was late for him to come. I would see that it would be beneficial to add a telephone system in the rooms to avoid this in the future, nevertheless I gave top scone and I would definitely stay there next time going to Rome
We loved the location and how clean and large our rooms were and especially the friendliness of Thomas . He took great care of our family , preparing coffee and breakfast for us in the morning and giving us directions to the various places we visited . Many thanks, Thomas ! You made our stay extra special . Natalie and Bob Abraham
Everything was wonderful . We cannot think of one negative thing to say .
Carlotta is wonderful, the location is perfect, our room was clean and attractive, and the staff is kind and helpful.
Our room was relatively quiet, given its location in the middle of a major city, but we were able to hear some music from next door.
many stairs average breakfast often no staff available
This is not a full-service hotel but is a boutique facility with just 6 rooms. The rooms are spacious, quiet and very clean with modern renovated bathrooms. The staff are incredibly pleasant and helpful with great advice about seeing Rome and Italy. It is extremely well-located, a maximum of 15-20 minute walk to most places we wanted to visit in Rome. I highly recommend the Relais Teatro Argentina and will certainly plan to stay there again whenever I'm in Rome.
Just an FYI this seems more like a bed and breakfast than a hotel. Still, very nice, great staff, homey feel, will recommend to others.
Everything was amazing , and above all very nice people who worked there ,they where very helpful which made our stay even better , thanks for them :)
Nothing everything was nice
Warm hospitality and pleasant rooms! We enjoyed our stay very much and the location was perfect- we were able to walk around the city from our hotel and were 5 minutes from kosher food in the nearby Jewish ghetto.
Location is excellent in - walking distance to most major attractions. Lots of good restaurants close by. Room size was great, very spacious and very clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel arranged an airport pick up and drop off for us which was helpful. We were also able to check out very late as there was no one needing the room immediately after us. We rented bikes from a small bike shop close by (details were at the reception), and saw even more of the city. Just be careful of the crazy neighbour who rudely screamed at us for bringing the bikes into the communal area where the bins are at the entrance.
Some small features in the room (door handles, bathroom fixtures) need to be replaced/screwed down properly. Having a throw over the bed is a bit outdated and unhygienic (although it fitted with the room decor). There's a lot of noise from the street so you have to keep the windows closed at night. There's no lift, so if you're weak and feeble you may not want to climb 4 flights of stairs every time you come in or go out.
Location great for old Rome city centre, quiet room good size and Thomas provided excellent service
Paulo and Tomas were gracious hosts! The location was perfect for walking everywhere and the room was HUGE!
