Set in a 15th-century building behind St. Mark’s Square, the small, elegant Relais Venezia is located in one of the city's oldest and smallest streets. All rooms have a flat-screen TV. The hotel owner is very friendly and the hotel breakfast room is comfortable. There are many restaurants nearby. The restaurant next to the hotel has live football matches. The hotel didn't clean the rubbish bin & the shower tub is a bit too small.

Rooms were pretty and clean. Has a classy feel and was relatively quite. Breakfast with cappuccino was nice. Good location not far from Saint Mark's Square. Hotel actually email be very specific directions and a map on how to get to their front door from both the train station and the airport. Very useful. Could have been a little more precise though by including some of the smaller street names.

Staff not returning emails or calls even I tried so many times to tell them that I had lost something while staying. Don't be fooled by the fake kindness! Once you left, they're gone! Room facilities out of function but the staff did not do or seemed not willing to do something about it.

Stayed 4 nights in Room 303 at the top of the hotel so a long climb up but well worth it for such a charming and light room under the eaves - nice view over the rooftops through the window and through the skylight we could see the campanile in St Mark's Square and the stars whilst lying in bed at night. Very comfortable. Several good recommendations for dinner from the pleasant hotel staff. Would definitely stay here again. Minor thing: the lift, which goes about half way up the hotel, saved some of the climb but it took us until the 3rd day to discover that when calling it we needed to keep our finger on the call button until it arrived. Before that we had just assumed it wasn't working ....

It was a great place to stay. Very close to the centre of Venice, its attractions, shops and restaurants. Room was really nice and clean, and the best thing was that we could have breakfast in the room every morning! We were on the top floor and there was a great skylight in the room, where by night you could see the stars and by day you could see the beautiful city view. A very nice place to stay and highly recommended. The only thing we would have liked was tea / coffee facilities in the room.

It was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, wonderful. Staff was more than amazing, Mr. Darue helps me a lot planning my visit with suggestion and recommendation, very clean and comfortable I strongly recommend it.

We stayed in a beautiful room that was within a 5 minute walk of San Marco. The staff was friendly and laid out a nice breakfast. The best part was the beautiful bathtub, it was like a small pool. Highly recommend

Descent hotel, charming and helpful personnel, nice and clean installations, perfect location in respect to the emblematic sights of the town, lots of services in 1 minute distance (super market, internet cafe, etc). Overall experience: recommended. The breakfast could be improved, although this is not a critical element of the hotel or your stay there. I have not checked if WiFi access is offered, but honestly in a town like Venice you 'd better stay off-line!

We especially enjoyed the helpfulness of Federico, our pleasant front desk person who gave great advice on where to eat, allowed us to store our luggage and was able to connect with a porter for our luggage when required to move across town for our next engagement. He also managed to check us in early when we first arrived - much appreciated after an overseas flight. I was also grateful for the elevator in the hotel and the peaceful quiet room. The eleven o'clock check-out..I realize that it is standard but it is early.

Chambre bien décorée et assez spacieuse (conforme aux descriptions sur le site internet). Salle de bain particulièrement romantique. Présence d'un ascenseur très pratique après une journée de marche. Service parfait bien que non francophone (et possibilité de laisser la valise à l'hôtel après avoir libéré la chambre). Enfin, localisation parfaite (5 minutes de la place Saint Marc et du pont Rialto). Petit déjeuner manquant d'originalité (identique trois jours de suite).
