We loved staying here .... the room was comfortable, the breakfast was great and the staff were very helpful. The hotel is nestled within a lovely garden, making it a peaceful and inviting place to return at the end of a busy day. The location is good as well.
Cellphone reception in the room was a bit patchy - not really a problem - I just made a call sitting in the beautiful garden!
friendliness and helpfulness of staff.
Not anything not to like.
The gardens with kiwi hanging down from trelis, lemon trees, lime trees and a lovely patio to sit on and relax. The helpfullness of the staff and the overall amienities were a big plus.
Perfect Location: The villa was nestled in beautiful gardens in the centre of Sorrento and was so quiet. It was in easy walking distance of everywhere! ... the Marina, the train station (for Pompeii) and the harbour (for Capri). Lovely Staff: The staff were so helpful and anticipated all your needs from providing bus/train timetables on arrival to arranging airport transfers (prior to and during our stay) and nothing was too much trouble. They were so accommodating and always smiling. The Room: We had a beautiful family room which was really spacious, had its own terrace and was immaculately clean... they even gave us a choice of room on arrival. Breakfast: Just have to mention the fabulous breakfast... meats, cheeses, cereals, rolls, pastries, yoghurts, fruit, tea, coffee, fruit juices... fresh every day. Gorgeous! ... and exactly what you need to set you up for a day's sightseeing.
Nothing! If I was being picky the WiFi didn't work in our room but it was FREE and worked fine in the cosy reception area so not a problem. Would have been nice to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room but we were out most of the time anyway and you could get drinks in the lounge area so again - not a problem.
decent brekfast, very helpful staff, peaceful location.
Amazing staff and everything else about the hotel
Wish breakfast had more choices!
Everything was perfect. Sorrento is very crowded during the season, but Villa Angiolina was the perfect escape. The girls from the reception were very helpful in recommending things to do and also breakfast was reach and tasty.
We booked a quadruple room, which was very chic and cozy. The villa is pretty close to the train station and even though it might be a little difficult to reach when you first arrive, it is very close to the city center. The villa is surrounded by a lovely garden, which gives you a feeling of calm and relaxation. The breakfast is delicious, including a variety of pastry, meat, cheese and fruits. We really enjoyed our stay here.
Friendly staff. Email with advice on how to get there. Convenient walking distance to railway and bus station, town centre, ferry pier. (Parking if required). Lovely room with large bathroom, opening onto small courtyard with table and chairs. Choice at breakfast, seating both inside and out, well maintained and pretty pergolas and garden. Good advice on where to go for food, swimming etc. Pleasant guests.
Quiet Sit in relaxing gardens The owners only too pleased to be of service Great breakfast
Took a little work to find it the first time despite the venue having given us a good map
Staff were great and we loved the breaksfast that was included. Great location too.
Amazing staff and a great location, loved our stay...would highly recommended!
The staff and the up to date facilities were A+. We traveled as three and kept talking about the Villa. Compared with other hotels we felt you were the best. Can't thank you enough for making our trip and 50th Anniversary memorable. Your pricing was very fair. Pete & Virginia D'Elia, Jeanne Quinn
This is a charming, small hotel, located within 5 minutes of the city walls and 15 minutes from the bus/train station. The staff are all friendly, and there is a lovely 'family atmosphere' about the place. The beds are of kingsize proportion and comfortable, whilst the air conditioning is efficient. The shower is high-pressured and the WiFi is fast and reliable. We were also lucky enough to have a small, private terrace area with a table and chairs - a great spot for an aperitif! The small, sheltered garden is a great place to eat breakfast, to included kiwi fruits grown on the premises!
It is a pity that there isn't a 24 hour reception service, and that after 8.30pm, it is necessary to open an iron gate with the electronic room key. Also, check-in needs to be before 7.30pm or thereabouts, which is a little inflexible. However, these are minor points, and we had a smashing time whilst staying here, so thanks to all concerned!
Beautiful gardens and a tranquil haven in a lovely but noisy city. The entrance to the hotel was reached walking under ripening kiwi fruit. Also car park next to hotel. Easy to drive to and not far to walk to historic centre.
Quiet garden setting , 5 minutes walk to town , helpful staff, close to food shop, cafés and everything we needed. Well presented large rooms with a tasty breakfast thank you
Staff were very helpful. We loved our terrace, ideal for a glass of wine in the evening before dinner.
Beauty of the garden and terrace Friendliness of the staff Convenient location for Sorrento attractions
Difficult to find!
The hotel is very close to the centre of Sorrento. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was lovely each day. The room was clean and very comfortable. We really liked this hotel and would recommend it to anyone.
Great hotel with lovely rooms and gardens to relax in and to take breakfast in the morning. The staff were very welcoming and incredibly helpful with all aspects of our stay. We were greeted with bright smiles every time we saw any member of staff. Rooms were very clean, breakfast was plentiful, and the location was good and was within a 10 minute walk from the bustle of Sorrento - though the hotel itself and it's lovely gardens were like a little oasis of quiet away from this. A really lovely, beautiful, welcoming hotel which I would recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing place to stay for their trip to Sorrento.
I liked it all!
Rooms are a bit small
Very attractive peaceful surroundings. Within easy reach of town
Expected a less reserved atmosphere. Wi - fi didn't have wide coverage.
A hidden gem!! A wonderful place to stay. The staff was wonderful, friendly and very helpful. The place itself was just beautiful and the cleanest place I have ever stayed in! The room was very large and quiet with no street noise at all. I would absolutely recommend staying there.
The staff at Relais Villa Angiolina are as exceptional as the property. The small garden is abundant with fruit trees and the property iteself is a little italian gem. Look forward to visiting again...
Loved the fruit and flower trees approaching the entrance. Very nice. Welcoming!
Had trouble finding it, stopped at Hilton for help
