Staff were attentive and did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable
The location, the property, the staff and the atmosphere.
Nothing. Our stay was just perfect for us.
Beautiful gardens. Lovely room, great breakfasts. We were made to feel very welcome and the information we were given about the area and how to use the trains was really helpful. Our stay was only short and we would have loved to stay longer and have time to relax by the pool. Would definitely stay here again when returning to Sorrento.
The hostess and staff were very friendly and helpful.
The bed could be slightly bigger for two persons.
The villa and its garden is beautiful. The landlady is very kind and helpful. The breakfast was delicious.
Peaceful haven set in beautiful gardens. Breakfast was amazing Angela was a superb host and made you feel like you were a friend of the family. Nothing was to much trouble and she helped us organise meals and trips would recommend a stay at this hotel as a must
The family owned resort can not be beat. Rooms are large and comfortable and the service was first class. Breakfast was better than you could imagine. I hope to return again some day.
Walk to Sorrento
Very Helpful staff Comfort of the rooms Lovely surroundings Some good restaurants in the area
The location in San Agnello was a full 25 minute walk from Sorrento, which was not a problem for us, but might be for some. We liked being away from the noise and crowds. The bed was very hard - but Angela was very helpful with putting some blankets under the sheet to soften it for me and that made a big difference.
Angela was an amazingly helpful and welcoming host - and a fabulous cook!! The buffet breakfasts were the best we've had anywhere, the sitting rooms, deck and pool were luxurious. We would definitely stay here again if we are back in the area.
A tranquil oasis presided over by delightful Angela. Her breakfasts are delicious and the unusual opulent accommodation is well run with constant attention to detail. Angela is a one person tourist information service!!! We don't want to rave too much preferring to keep it all to ourselves. Thank you Angela and Giovanni for a wonderful few days.
The location is about 20 minutes walk from Sorrento, but I wouldn't let that put me off staying there again if we visit the area again.
Just about everything. The owner and staff were really friendly, helpful and efficient. The room we had was large, comfortable, clean and had everything we would have expected. The pool and gardens are tended daily and are in spacious walled grounds. Breakfast was really good, with great choice and quiet efficient service. Overall, the place is stunning, and better than many 4 star hotels we've stayed in. Thanks Angela and Giovanni - our 4 days with you were special.
Too far out of Sorrento. 25 min walk along a busy road with no pavement in places. Was charged more than quoted internet price.
Beautiful house. Delicious breakfast!
The whole experience .
A beautiful period property which was hosted by an exuberant, very professional and knowledgable lady, the heart and soul of the business, with the help of her charming son. Nothing was too much trouble which made our stay in their once family home an absolute pleasure and one which I would happily recommend to others.
The owner Angela very helpful and devoted. Location , the garden,
- had to leave....
- the house - the room - the garden - the superb breakfast buffet
The walk into the town of Sorrento is a bit far in the heat and even getting to the station takes >10 minutes. In the last couple of days we discovered there is a tourist bus that runs between Sant Agnello and Sorrento and can be caught at the end if the street - however the timetable is erratic. This is a minor quibble as there are quite a few good restaurants/bars within easy walking distance of the Villa. Also it is along hot walk to the laundromat. In house washing facilities would be a great addition. But overall it was fantastic.
Angela was the perfect host...nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts would be hard to beat anywhere (and we have stayed in many places all over Italy) - and Angela cooks the lovely quiches, cakes, fruits etc. herself. The rooms were large and very comfortable, the pool a welcome relief after a hot day sightseeing - the Villa really is an oasis from the tourist world of Sorrento and surrounds. The Villa is beautiful and you feel like royalty going into the breakfast room and the library etc. The grounds are lush and green and you feel like you are miles from everywhere. We loved our stay and would love to go back some day.
The House in the park is very nice . The family how runn the villa is very helpfull. Peacefull .
There was nothing I didn't like there.
Hospitality, helpfulness, charm and everything else that went with our stay.
Delightful accommodation in beautiful grounds, the Villa Savarese was an Oasis of calm on the outskirts of the rather busy Sorrento. The owner, Angela, could not have been more welcoming and the house staff were fantastic, making you feel you had only to relax during your stay. Angela felt like a friend trying to help make the most of your holiday, with recommendations for restaurants and other advice. The bedroom was well appointed and had an extremely comfortable bed. Breakfast was incredible, with a fantastic spread on offer including freshly baked, golden quiches and cakes. A perfect start to every day. A lovely swimming pool means you needn't be shoulder-to-shoulder with other people on the (limited) coastal bathing areas in Sorrento. I cannot fault the Villa Savarese. This is not a generic hotel or guest house; you are welcomed into someone's beautiful home for the duration of your stay.
The breakfast is something to remember home cooked every morning my the property owner Angela . Beautiful surroundings can't wait to stay there again .
Great breakfast Comfortable Bed Great sleep Personal Service
The entire experience was wonderful from the way that the ownership and staff accommodated my daughters Celiac to the beautiful and peaceful building and grounds. A truly first class experience, I will only stay at this Relais whenever I return to Srrento.
Having to return home!
