The Venetian Patricians bought large estates on the Brenta Riverside and were fascinated by the beauty of its landscape. Soon it was turned into a holiday location. Between the 16th and 18th centuries imposing villas such as the Foscari Villa in Malcontenta, the Valmarana and Widmann Villas in Mira and the Pisani Villa in Strà were built. The area also features a real Ducal Palace on the mainland, with its well-known maze of Renaissance style hedges.
However, the main attraction is the river itself with its calm waters that flow from bend to bend. Sailing here provides the same lapses that Goldoni, Casanova, Goethe and D’Annunzio experienced.
Nowadays, the Brenta Riviera boasts antique Villas, unique nature walks, relaxing river cruises and excellent seafood cuisine inspired by Venetian tradition.
Our reception is usually open until 21:00.

Good position for visiting Venice (good connections by bus and train to Venice centre). Very nice rooms, mixing traditional Italian villa with modern furnishing. Reception closing at 21.00 |

We stayed here as a base for a trip to Venice. It's a cosy hotel, next to the main road, but not noisy. Bus stop 200m away to get to Venice (30 minutes trip). Very clean room, with classic style. Continental breakfast was good. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Not a fault of the hotel, but the local train station is no longer on the main line, so offers fewer services to Venice. |

Simplement que es troba prop de Venècia. No ens va resultar satisfactori l'esmorzar ( npomés dolç i escàs) ni el confort (situat al costat d'una carretera, soroll de cotxes tota la nit). Ha estat l'hotel més car dels 6 que hem triat per Itàlia i el que menys ens ha agradat. |

Es un hotel pequeño y tranquilo, con trato agradable. Está bien comunicado. Las habitaciones y baño están limpios y tienes tamaño suficiente Que no tiene parking. El armario de la habitación, que era una triple, es pequeño para tres personas |

Ho trascorso solo qualche ora presso questa struttura, ma sono rimasto molto soddisfatto dalla cortesia del personale, dallo stile usato per l'arredo della struttura e dalla cura con cui sono preparate le camere. La colazione è stata più che appagante. |
