This is an unbelievale opportunity to stay in a medieval location with stunning views of the Umbrian countryside. For people who usually travel in mid-range places, this was divinely presented. Stepping out for a buffet happy hour onto a palace heavy stone terrazzo was inspiring! If you happen to have the highest room (which I loved), it is in a bit of a garret and my husband could not stand up in the bathroom without being careful not to hit his head! |

The setting, the gardens, the view, the unstinting friendliness and courtesy of the staff, the breakfast, the happy hour all contributed to a great stay at a very reasonable price. We shall certainly come back and recommend the hotel to friends. |

Fantastic location, relaxed atmosphere, very pretty town to explore from the doorstep, restaurant discount (Taverna del Lupo). Not easy to find due to one way traffic system. Advise to call ahead and use shuttle service. |

Very friendly and accommodating. At the heart of the lovely old hilltop town of Gubbio, this is a very good, well run hotel. We would recommend this hotel but you need to be fairly mobile - you can't enjoy the town without walking and climbing up and down steps and steep streets. Lovely garden in rear of hotel No restaurant, but you get a 10% discount at two very good restaurants nearby. |

This is a beutiful small hotel in a beautiful small town, well off the tourist mainline. It takes an hour or so by bus to get there from Perugia, but the remoteness keeps the crowds down. The hotel veranda overlooking the town and the valley below was a perfect place to relax after a day spent walking in the hills and exploring the nooks and crannies of the lovely old town. |

In the very center of Gubbio, right in front of Palazzo dei Consoli, stunning view over the city. Bathroom was ok but could use some renovation; car access is good but parking is in the lower part of town (8€/24h if staying at hotel, read the signs before paying the full 0,80€/h fee) |

Very comfortable. Helpful and friendly staff. The breakfasts were great. Enjoyed the bar/restaurant on the ground level. I felt we made friends of some of the staff there and the "driver" Leonardo. It was a little hard to find but that is more because of the unique nature of the town of Gubbio. .....but other than that, every thing was great. |

Posizione, personale, pulizia, camera. L'albergo è in pieno centro, molto bello, molto belle anche le camere. Troppo caldo (abbiamo dormito a finestre aperte a fine novembre), campane della vicina chiesa che suonano ogni 15 minuti anche di notte!, bagno da "rinfrescare". |

Dit hotel is werkelijk schitterend gelegen voor een bezoek aan Gubbio, midden in het historisch centrum en met een ongelooflijk uitzicht op de omgeving. Dit hotel heeft enkel een bar, maar er zijn zeer goede restaurants in de buurt . Personeel sprak zeer goed Engels. Veel trappen in hotel en omgeving |
