Top class staff, 10/10 for the helpful reception, wonderful breakfast staff and brilliant standard of room cleaning. The hotel was almost full but 4 of us could always get a sun bed in the afternoon. It was a short and pleasant walk to the town where there are so many fabulous restaurants you'll need to stay for over a week to try the best ones.

Location excellent -10minute walk to San Gimignano but peaceful retreat during the day when town is busy with day trips. Beautiful gardens with pool. Staff really friendly & helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Rooms were cramped but we knew that in advance & whilst compact lots of storage & spotlessly clean.

    Good facilities with parking (pay)..

May be too hilly to get to the city centre for unfit or disabled persons from this hotel.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Great pool and gardens. Location was a couple of minutes from the city entrance. Good facilities and breakfast terrace was really nice overlooking the pool area. Good and free parking.

    All was good.

Nice breakfast - good variety. Certainly no shortage of deck chairs near the pool during our stay. Well designed hotel.

Staff definitely OK but not enthusiastically helpful - they don't own the hotel I guess.

Lovely garden and pool (cold pool!), wonderful views, 10 min walk to the walled town centre

Nothing! Maybe the aircon could have been a bit stronger but that's a tiny detail.

Hotel setting & closeness to San Gimigano was great, the staff were friendly &, helpful. We would stay there again.

The lunch choices weren't great & you couldn't get food after 3pm, which for a 4 star hotel I thought was very poor. There are excellant restaurants in the town though.

Friendly staff. Lovely pool area. Good quality breakfast....just enough to choose from and well done for fresh cold milk to have with cereals.

If cocktails were a little less pricey we would have indulged.

I chose this hotel for its location: outside if the city walls and congestion ; easy parking; easy walk to the town. The view from our room was nice.

Warm water, but not hot. Tub drain knob broken. Dreary and worn decor in the room. Room balcony not private from adjacent rooms. Front desk mediocre . Passed on eating breakfast at the hotel. Would not stay here again.

Beautiful pool. Lovely views. Great breakfast.

Tiny room. Smaller than a cabin on a boat.

The view over the Tuscany from the hotel is fantastic. Exterior pool and garden are very good. Short walking distance from San Gimignano.

Rooms and many amenities of the hotel are outdated. Internet is not free. Reception staff could be warmer.

The view from our 3 rooms was nice (but only after we paid an additional 26 euro per night to upgrade our rooms for the better view).

Rooms were very small compared to the other 7 hotels we had stayed during our entire trip. There wasn't even enough space to put our luggage. The wifi internet costs 3 euro for 24 hours which also is the only hotel we had to pay for wifi access. The hotel doesn't have enough free parking for everyone and charge 13 euro for the 8 parking spaces available inside the hotel property. However, we have found there is a secured public parking just around the corner from the hotel which costs only 6.5 euro for 24 hours. We parked our cars there instead which worked out great.
