Residence Al Lago

Very nice residence with own swimming pool and good location in few steps from the lake and some minutes from old city. In apartments exists small kitchen. In 25 km is historical city Perudga. All was very comfortable. Especially thanks for the owner of residence for help and useful tips.

It was an excellent place to relax very close to the lake, plenty of places to have good food. A very relaxing holiday for a few days.

There was nothing for us to dislike

We were first guests of the season and they made a big effort to accommodate us and in fact up graded us from a room to an apartment. The owner was very friendly and helpful.

It didn't apply to us but if we had been self catering a microwave would have been good.

The hotel is well located to explore the region. Luigi, the owner of the hotel, is concerned about the well-being of his guests - he can tell you a lot about the region and cities, is very helpful (even as driver) gives hints on what to do and where to go, always gentle with a smile. We really enjoyed our stay and can certainly recommend the hotel.

Everything. Luigi, the owner is the most kind of person. I felt like being care by an older (although yonger) brother. He has your best interest in his mind.

We enjoyed tremendously our stay at Residence Al Lago. The residence is situated in a peaceful area, just a stone's throw from the LakeTrasimeno and the historic part of Casteglione. The Residence benefits from a delicious breakfast and free Wi-fi. The owner, Luigi, is a very smiling and helpful host, who gave us some handy tips about places to see in the area. The cappuccino at breakfast was awesome.

We had an upgraded room which was more like an apartment with refrigerator, cooking facilities and separate bedroom. We had an end of row room so it was quiet, private, and the clothes dryer was particularly welcome! The owner, Luigi, was incredibly helpful, giving us lifts to the station and advising us about getting round - we didn't have a car so this isn't always easy in this area despite what the maps say. The hotel is really well located minutes from the 'quiet' side of the lake and the pool was very welcome after hot days of walking round the place. We'd thoroughly recommend the hotel for a very relaxed and good value place to stay and thanks again Luigi for all your help!

Very nice hotel manager

We had a lovely night at Al Lago, Luigi is an amazing host! Luigi was a wealth of knowledge of local places to eat and visit. He helped us explore the history steeped in the surrounding countryside as we followed the trail of Hannibal and his army. The room was relaxing, cool and spacious, self contained for privacy and after a long drive, we were able to make ourselves a coffee in our room which was a rare opportunity we found as we traveled around Italy. Breakfast was fantastic, fresh and lots of it! Al Lago was very welcoming with the Australian flag greeting us on arrival. Thank you Luigi and everyone at Al Lago for making our stay relaxing and memorable on our honeymoon from Australia.

The manager was the model of hospitality and courtesy. He was outstanding in every respect. A great source of local knowledge and guidance. The hotel did not purport to be a luxury hotel but for location it was perfect. The rooms were clean, the staff were friendly, the facilities matched our expectations. There is little to add except to add our real appreciation of The Manager and his staff.

Nothing to complain about

Although quiet at time of visit got excellent service. The breakfast was better than many more expensive hotels I have stayed in.

The manager/owner (Luigi) made us very welcome and his friendly nature and willingness to help with anything we needed made the stay more enjoyable. We had initially booked for three nights but stayed for seven. The lake environment was very peaceful but with enough activity to keep things interesting. The old medieval village and fort provides some great views of the area as well as having some very good resturants.

Leuk hotel; wij kregen een appartementje met klein keukenmeubel. Heeft een kleine lift om de bovenverdieping te bereiken. Dicht bij het oude centrum (ca. 500 meter), maar wel flink omhoog klauteren.

Logement appartement très près du lac, décor de très bon gout , très calme. Le propriétaire parle très bien français

Отель, обставленный мебелью и сантехникой 80 - х годов. Но это не снижает его достоинств - тихо, чисто, очень тепло, просторно, есть кухня, рядом озеро. У номеров на первом этаже( всего два этажа) свой вход с улицы и веранда с мебелью.

Отсутствие нормального завтрака, пришлось подниматься в центр города, где есть действительно стоящие ресторанчики.

Posizione tranquilla vicino al lago, un vero relax, camera grande e pulita, parcheggio comodo gratis, prezzo davvero economico,la cordialità del titolare che mi ha persino accompagnato in centro davanti al ristorante che vavevo scelto, da consigliare.

Ottima la posizione, a due passi dal lago ma vicino anche al centro. Il personale cordiale e disponibile. La tranquillità del luogo.

Alcune rifiniture della stanza sono migliorabili

великолепный отель. не очень большой, тихий, семейный, очень удобный, с бассейном и кухнями в каждом номере. рядом с озером и старым городом. мы ехали отдохнуть и покупаться на озере. и хотя озеро оказалось непригодным для купания, удоство и комфорт отеля компенсировали нам этот момент. просто какая-то добрая атмосфера этого дома и хозяина стерли разочарование от озера. как будто приехали к давним хорошим знакомым. дочь с удовольствием плавала в чистейшем бассейне. я с удовольствием готовила обед и ужины нам, уставшим от местного общепита, сама, впервые за все 2-х недельное пребывание в италии. мы взяли напрокат велосипеды и обследовали поблизости находящиеся окресности. в перевывах снова купались и загорали. и еще один немаловажный момент. отношение хозяев к посетителям. в отель от железнодорожной станции мы приехали на автобусе, а тот день когда мы уезжали автобусы на ходили. я хотела было попросить хозяина луиджи заказать такси. но он сам вызвался нас отвезти к поезду и озаботился нашим багажом. просто так, на общественных началах.
