Large, comfortable apartment in an outstanding location. Nicely furnished, with plenty of room for our family. Supermarket across the street, fantastic cafe below (with the best coffee in Rome) and very close to all major attractions in central Rome.

Location, location, location. This place is very convenient. Next to supermarket and eateries. Apartment was spacious and very clean. Wifi and cable TV were good with English channels. My 2 teenagers loved the place. Lift was really small so only 1 person and luggage at a time.

Location was fantastic. In between the Trevi Fountain and The Spanish Steps which where both in easy walkable distance. Excellent base for sightseeing - Metro station/tour bus stop nearby. Very good accomodation for a family of four with older children. Spar supermarket very nearby for shopping and reasonably priced returants nearby. Staff friendly and helpful and gave lots of tips for sight seeing and where to go. We would definately stay again!

The hotel was too comfortable and clean, the receptionst guy was too helpful, nice and always smiling. The location was more than perfect, in the middle of the fountain and the spanish steps, 3mins walking to the fountain, 7mins walking to the steps, in the middle of the most famous shopping area, I loved the hotel so much and I strongly recommend it to others.

We loved everything about the Residenza Al Saraceno. It's location is superb as it is within a couple of minutes walk from the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain. There are lots of restaurants nearby as are the shops. We loved the coffee bar next door (Angelina's) they made us feel very very welcome. We loved the fact that there was a good supermarket straight across the street, which sold beautiful fresh bread and pastries etc. The apartment was spotless and had everything you would need, there was loads of wardrobe space etc. Staff were great arranging to pick us up on arrival and brought us back to airport on our last day

Location, Location, Location....Perfect. Trevi Fountain and spanish steps at your doorstep. Excellent cafe next door for breakfast and an early G & T before eating. (We always tried to get the 2 comfy armchairs facing out the large open door & watched the world go by) Elevator to the second floor although tiny (2 people max) was a godsend after a busy day sightseeing. Kids were quite happy to settle for the bed setee as the t.v. was straight opposite. (although the matress was to thin & unconfy until we covered it with a quilt from the cupboard. Shower always hot & clean towels every day. Dont get stung by the icecream shop (ANTICA) on the way to the spanish steps, the day we arrived we went there for a sandwich & icecream 9.50 euros each for the icecream ouch!!! If someone is staying on the bed setee there is nowhere in the lounge area to put your clothes, all cupboard space is taken up with kitchen equipment/blankets etc. We were ok because our teenage girls didnt mind sharing our amply spaced wardrobes in our bedroom.

The location was perfect, only 5 min from the Trevi Fountain and less than 10min to the Spanish Steps. The tourist bus stops nearby. Near shops and restaurants and transport. Very good for small children as you can always go back to the hotel if you need to.The apartment was very spacious and clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Although the kitchen was fully equipped there was no sponge or washing liquid. The bathroom was big but the shower a bit small and there was nothing to put your toiletries on.

Great location! 3 minute walk from Fontana di Trevi and 5 from Piazza Di Spagna! The people of the hotel they were great! Also very positive for us was the fact that right under the hotel there is a restaurant, a cafe and a super market where you can buy anything you gonna need during the day walking around in the city. The air conditioning was a little noisy.

Lovely building in great location at a reasonable price, we booked a small one bed apartment early in advance of our trip. We could walk everywhere except the Vatican which was a simple bus and metro hop. Good tv and sky supplied, useful kitchen area and very handy spa grocery store acroos the road. Staff were great really helpful even gave us a brolly when it rained. Room was contempary and smart with bright red and black colours which worked well. Nice high ceilings. Very clean throughout, top marks to the cleaning lady who came in each day to make our beds and tidy up. One thing bad was the sofa bed was noisy and squeaky so they could get a better type I think. Would stay again There was little not to like so can only suggest they replace the sofa bed, its very smart (red leather) but the base is metal springs and was noisy and im sure there is better out there. Our two boys used it and were fine but for any longer then this would be a benefit if replaced. No kettle was a slight problem (we like tea in the morning) but there was a milk pot which we used on the ceramic hob which was fine. Good supply of plates cups etc and fridge, cooker all very good Only other minor gripe is the fire alarm system on the ceilings flashes in the night but to be fair it never really affected our sleep Would stay again, very nice indeed

The location is perfect. It is in a quite street, just a few steps from everything, close to the metro, taxis and bus stops. A very cute café and the super market are just below the residence. We stayed in a double room on the fourth floor and it was very spacious and comfortable. Modern design, plenty of storage cabinets and drawers, very clean and bright room, small but functional bathroom. The elevator is very small but this is not a problem. For two, it’s just romantic!

We loved it there. The studio apartment was spacious, just across the road from Trevi fountain, near the main areas, a short stroll to spanish steps etc. The manager was lovely, recommened 2 awesome restaurants which we loved and was most accomodation to our needs. We will definitely recommend this hotel! Stay there and have a fantastic holiday!

Excellent three days in Rome! Residenza al Saraceno arranged taxi to meet us at Fiumicino and to take us back to airport three days later. The accommodation was very modern (although the building is old) and most comfortable with every 'mod con' for those wishing to stay in and cook for themselves - a supermarket is just across the narrow street. We walked everywhere, as only 5 minutes from Trevi Fountain, Via Corso and Spanish Steps - half an hour to the Colisseum. Took taxi to Vatican City and enjoyed private tour. Lots of bars and restaurants close to Saraceno and prices are reasonable as are taxi prices. The gentleman owner was very accommodating and knowledgable and we will certainly stay at Saraceno again when we return to Rome.

The location was fantasic, very close to many sights and also to the Metro. The cafe below the apartments was very convenient with delicious coffee and pastries. Also, the adjacent market was convenient for stocking the apartment with water and other necessities. There was ample storage area throughout the apartment for our family of four to unpack and spread out. The pullout sofa bed was not very comfortable. But, not many pullout beds are!

Everything worked as planned, the transfer from the airport, the apartment offers space and is really quiet, downstairs you find a coffee shop (great place with movie classics being projected on the bare walls), a small supermarket 5 m away, a good experience and a great location View from the rooms less than exciting, but this is the price for quiet

The best things are the location, Wi-Fi, the spacious room and Marcello. About the location it is important to mention that it is three streets from the Trevi Fountain, close to a Taxi stand, walking distance to Barberini Metro station, close to bus stations, walking distance to Via Tretone and Corso. These are main avenues with nice shops, full of activity. Across the hotel there is a grocery store, next door a restaurant and a cafe. The room was spacious with a small refrigerator (with two complimentary bottles of water) , a big round table, two chairs, a lot of storage, double pane windows (keeping out the street noise), firm and comfortable bed, big plasma tv, great cable service with channels from all over the world, and attention to other details. We want to mention that Marcello was great, went out of the way to give us helpful information, without us asking, and was always willing to help. If he did not know the answer, he will come back to us. On the other hand, the older man and the young girl were just an additional fixture in the hotel. They could not be bothered. We did not like that the shower stall was very small, even though there is enough room to install a bigger one. We did not like that there is an electric kettle in the room, along with 2 mugs and 2 spoons, but they do not provide neither coffee nor tea. They should have a coffee maker as well with the staples (sugar, cream, stirrers, etc.) We did not like that besides Marcello, the other two receptionists were polite, but not very helpful or cooperative.

An outstanding staff made this visit a true delight. Both the young woman and the gentleman on the desk went out of their way to be helpful. Our apartment was wonderfully clean and comfortable, with room for four adults to move about freely. The location was perfect for sighttseeing and shopping and while we spent most of our time walking, public transportation was readily available. We will certainly stay here on our next visit to Roma.

I especially liked the central location. I also liked the spaciousness and cleanliness of the apartment. I also enjoyed the friendliness of the staff. I would have preferred a mounted shower head versus the one that wasn't mounted above my head.
