The appartment is very placed right in the centre of Rome. There are resterants nearby (direction the Spanish steps) - and a supermarket right next to the appartment. It great BUT the sofa-bed in the living room is not very comfy and it is noisy. The delvery's for the supermarket take place outside your window at from 7am

We really enjoyed staying at Residenza Al Saraceno for 5 nights. Great location in the heart of Rome, helpfull, friendly and pro-active staff. We have been checked-in immediately despite of early arriving for free. Also we were provided by our own key from the main door, what brought us the feeling we're coming home every night, that was an adventure and pleasure. I definately stay there again! Nothing to complain about. Even it stopped raining after we checked-in.

The 2 reception staff Horatio and Marcello were very friendly and helpful. The cafe next door is fantastic with great lattes which is important for this coffee snob.Perfect postion to see the sights.Supermarket over the road handy. WIFI kept falling off. Bit of street delivery noise at 7am each morning if your room is on that side.Bed a bit hard.

Excellent residence in the heart of the centro of Rome. My baby daughter got a very high fever at 4:00 am and we called the emergency number they had listed in the room. The staff was responsive and they got us a doctor within the hour accompanied by one of the staff members. The residence are serviced apartments with no reception or staff after 8:00 pm but they provide you with an emergency number. I was very pleased with the service and help of the staff. The apartment was rather large and very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would go there again!

You cannot beat the location of this hotel! It is about two minutes from the Trevi Fountain and four minutes from the Spanish Steps. Everything in the ancient city is within easy walking distance and there is plenty of shopping to be had in the area. Immediately behind the hotel is a supermarket which was extremely handy. The room was spacious and very tastefully decorated. I'd happily recommend this hotel to anyone I knew travelling to Rome. The only minor issue we had was we couldn't get the air con to work but were advised that in many locations, they cannot be turned on until a certain time of year when the weather warms up.

The upside to staying in a place so small was that the location was perfect. Located quite close to the spanish steps, pantheon and even closer to the main metro station (spagna) and the trevi fountain. If you plan on going to the metro at sometime around 7 am, take a quick detour and visit the fountain and you might get to see it getting cleaned. Now how many people can say that they watched the Trevi fountain get cleaned? The rooms have a kitchen and useable cutlery and tableware. The interior of the rooms were very classy and the staff friendly. The downside to staying in a place so small was that there was only one elevator. If you are travelling with a lot of luugage, you might end up going up and down the elevator dragging a single bag with you and having to come back to the lobby for the next piece of luggage! The only other alternative is using the stairs, but even that is very hard to do since there are a lot of staps. The only other downside is that they don't serve any meals and that the kitchens in the rooms are very small.

Good value for money, keeping in mind this is central Rome. Clean and very spacious rooms. Friendly hotel staff. Very old elevator. Bathroom amenities were quite poor in quality. No breakfast service (should have been catered with such a price per room).

The location was wonderful, close to most attractions by walking distance. There is a bakery store next door to the hotel which is great. Across the street of hotel you can find a supermarket. The location was the best!!!!!

Was perfect in every sense - great facitlities, supermarket around the corner and all the sites in walking distance! It was a bit noisy at night so one couldn't really sleep with the windows open but that comes with the location

The location is wonderful, so central to everything. We booked a large one bed apartment. It was huge, all you could need and space with 2 adults and 2 children, (9&11). There is a supermarket right outside so everything at hand. Staff were very friendly and helpful, everyone from the cleaners to the management. The coffee shop and restaurant were also great, food and service. Definately recommend. Only the sofabed was uncomfortable, but not a big deal!

Excellent location. We had ready access to must see sights in Rome. Short walk to Spanish steps and Trevi Fountain. Supermarket and many excellent cafes just outside the front door. The staff were friendly and helpful. Went out of their way to explain the Italian way of doing things. We had a wonderful stay in Rome and if we return will definitely stay here again. Thanks to Marcello, Horace and Andrea. No complaints only that our stay here should have been longer.

We loved the location! Mere steps from the Tevi Fountain and just a few minutes from the Spanish Steps. We found that we could get anywhere from here. Having a grocery store across the street, and plates/untensils in the room made grabbing an inexpensive breakfast possible. The staff was incredibly great - lending me a plug adapator when I forgot mine, and spending a lot of time ensuring that we could get a kid's tv channel in English (without us even asking them!) They even let us keep our room for an extra hour after checkout. I would definitely stay there again! Not a complaint ... but they could offer some dishsoap for the guest to do up the dishes (as housekeeping doesn't do them).

I fully recommend Residenza Al Saraceno: • Situated in good district close to everything. • The apartment we rented was spacious, modern and clean. • The staff was dedicated. •The restaurant Angelina, next door, have high ambitions but moderate prices. Try it! • Finally: There is a nice supermarket just 20 meters away.

The location is perfect. It is in a quite street, just a few steps from everything, close to the metro, taxis and bus stops. A very cute café and the super market are just below the residence. We stayed in a double room on the fourth floor and it was very spacious and comfortable. Modern design, plenty of storage cabinets and drawers, very clean and bright room, small but functional bathroom. The elevator is very small but this is not a problem. For two, it’s just romantic!

Excellent three days in Rome! Residenza al Saraceno arranged taxi to meet us at Fiumicino and to take us back to airport three days later. The accommodation was very modern (although the building is old) and most comfortable with every 'mod con' for those wishing to stay in and cook for themselves - a supermarket is just across the narrow street. We walked everywhere, as only 5 minutes from Trevi Fountain, Via Corso and Spanish Steps - half an hour to the Colisseum. Took taxi to Vatican City and enjoyed private tour. Lots of bars and restaurants close to Saraceno and prices are reasonable as are taxi prices. The gentleman owner was very accommodating and knowledgable and we will certainly stay at Saraceno again when we return to Rome.

Spent a week picking out the best hotel for our honeymoon and Residenza Al Saraceno ticked all the right boxes. Great location - 3 min walk to Trevi Fountain, 8 min to Spanish Steps, a supermarket next door, a cafe downstairs etc. Front desk staff are extremely helpful & friendly. The room is gorgeous & spacious. The lift is tiny but at least it works well. Room pricing is very competitive and offers excellent value. You'd be hard-pressed to find a better place to stay. We won't hesitate to stay here again when we return to Rome in future.
