The apartment was very nice and with a lot of space in one of nicest areas of Naples, called Chiaia. It was clean and for us with two children perfect. The staff is absolutely fabulous and very welcoming. It's close to the Metro and close to the nice promenade on the seaside. Everything was great! We will come again!
It's a lovely little apartment. Ciro was very welcoming and eager to help although we weren't able to get a response by phone with one of our requests so therefore didn't contact any further regarding other issues (bad pillows) Very central location not far from the Archaeological Museum. Nice bathrooms. Wi-fi. Easily arranged personal airport transfers.
Pillows/mattress - awful, almost useless with only option to use dirty spare pillows without pillowcases that were in the cupboard. Bad nights' sleep on very hard and lumpy mattress. No optional throw on bed, just a sheet. Dirty Floor - the floor was filthy, meaning that walking around barefoot after a shower made feet black again within minutes! Towels - only 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel left per person, for 6 nights. Noise - noise was expected with the busy roads, and the apartment was on a very busy main road. However, the double doors did little to shut out the noise. Shower - only gave hot water for a matter of minutes meaning that shower time had to be done as quick as possible before it went cold.
Bad smelling toilet room, dirty bed.
Clean and modern, the staff were really friendly and helpful.
Area was rough and no parking as stated. We had to pay at local parking garage 15 euros per day. Didn't feel safe in area. Very busy and run down area. Lots of rubbish out front of building that the B and B is in which is like flats or private apartments.
The appartment manager, Ciro was excellent! Helpful and welcoming. Always there to answer any questions and offer information on Naples. The appartment was clean and of a good size. The area was fine and just a few minutes from the sea front. We loved our time in Naples and at the appartment! Thank you
Firstly, the staff were incredibly helpful. The manager Gaia gave her number to us so we could get in contact at any time, which was very helpful in recommending places to see and eat. Ciro manned the office most days and again was incredibly helpful on our trip (his English is better than he gives himself credit for!). The apartment was great for the price, petite but good for 2 people. A great advantage having a kitchenette if you fancy saving a little money some nights! Although, the price was so good, you probably won't have to! The location was great! Far enough from the main Neapolitan hustle and bustle so you can get some rest but also very close to everything you want. It was a few minutes walk from the local shops and restaurants, a few minutes from the seafront and a short walk to the nearest Metro station to get to other parts of the city. All in all, a great place to stay at if you want to explore Naples!!
We had to ask for fresh towels some times. I'm not sure if they normally do it automatically or if there's a specific way of indicating you like fresh towels! We got them by asking in the end so it wasn't anything major! Definitely didn't put us off coming back!!
We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment! Everything was as described on the site. The staff was very helpful and attentive to our needs. Lots of thanks to Ciro for his assistance and amazing hospitality!
Staff all very helpful and tried very hard to make our stay a good one Not far from Metro station (10 mins) Close to sea/beach (5 mins) Not far from amenities and restaurants Felt 'secure' at night as main outer courtyard doors locked
Very basic (but clean) Needs modernising and redecorating Had to pay cash, as credit card machine not working Walking up 4 flights of stairs when we had no 10 cent coins for the lift!
Layout location safety staff light and airy air conditioning
Could've had a few more basic facilities in the apartment like a full length mirror, tea/coffee, a kettle.
Location, cleanliness, space.. Very close to US embassy and mergellina. Good eating places are nearby.
No proper directions to get there... Its in back street. Staff knew nothing, maybe because it was Sunday so proper staff was not there.
We got to Naples and found the place fairly quickly (google maps helps). The rooms were very clean and very comfortable. TV and aircon worked fine. Oddly enough we never met the owners, just the manager once who wa lovely. It's a very close walk to the port and restaurants. Loved the place
- never met the owners - had to wait about 30 mins to check in (no answer at the door when we rang the bell)
I liked everything about the accomondation. ciro the manager is such a wonderful human being. he made sure we were comfy as soon as we arrived and for each day we stayed, it became more like home. ciro is one of the best people you could ever wish to meet. He made sure we had everything and I wouldn't hesitate to go back there when we visit naples next. I strongly recommend this apartment.tell ciro Ed said he is a rock star
10cent for the lift up and down was a bit of a piss take, otherwise everything was good
Ciro couldn't have been more accommodating and the apartment was fine for the 2 nights we stayed for. Clean and comfortable.
Be careful which apartment you get as ours was quite far from all things central, a good half an hour walk if not more and all up hill on the way back. Our apartment could do with a bit of an upgrade, it's obviously one of the older ones.
people working in the hotel were very welcoming, attentive and ready to provide their assistance.
The person we had the most contact with was very helpful.
No air conditioning or reasonable ventilation made the room very warm.
The very pleasant apartment, located just outside the historic centre of Naples in the quiet and safe street. The apartment offers you comfortable conditions and friendly atmosphere. You will spend inspiring time there.
The apartments have clearly just been renovated to an extremely high standard, with a new kitchen and bathroom. The apartments are so comfortable and really are a home from home. The staff are wonderful and very welcoming, especially Ciro who is so friendly, but only speaks a little English :) The apartment is in a very nice neighbourhood with some gorgeous architecture and is ideally located; only a 4 minute walk to the nearest metro stop. A 4 minute walk in the opposite direction takes you down to the sea to some fantastic views and the promenade. A 30 minute walk along the promenade takes you to Castle st. Angelo, a castle out in the sea, and another 5 minutes from there lands you in piazza del plebiscito at the bottom of the main shopping street, via Toledo. A 10 minute walk towards Chiaia from the apartment lands you in the mid of a huge array of restaurants and there are two good sized supermarkets close to the apartment. I can't quite believe how good the price is considering how amazing this place is! I wouldn't be surprised if they increased the price TBH!
We couldn't figure out how to work the radiator in the bathroom, and we like a warm towel when we get out of the shower (doesn't everyone?!). Clearly, i have survived that ordeal ;)
The flat is located just a few steps from the waterfront gardens and the seaside promenade, nearby many lively bars, restaurants and other lively spots, nevertheless the building is very quiet and peaceful. The apartment is tidy, airy, properly-lighted and spacious - for a studio; plus it is very well furnished and fully equipped.
The apartment is hidden behind the maze of confusing streets and you cant reach there without using online maps and superb driving skills. There was no one at the reception, you have to pay on your own for parking. In my 2 days of stay there was no breakfast, no drinking water. I would advise people to avoid this place, you might get something more reliable at similar prices.
decor, noise, freezing cold.....
Everything is beautiful.
We liked that it was less touristy than being in the old town and it was an easy walk into the city. At Chiaia there are many restaurants and interesting shops: from here one can explore the nearby waterfront and go to enchanting Mergellina and up the hill to the gardens and mansions.
Can´t think of anything. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Some people might not like it that it is located in a block of apartments where Italians live, but we thought that it added to the charm.
The staff is receptive.
Maybe a second set of keys would be better for those who don't have the same hours.
the apartment was comportable and good. The location is very close to the historic center of Naples.
The staff dont speak english at all. You can't contact when you have a problem.
Nice interior, comfortable and clean with two washrooms and a fully-equipped kitchen.
We were not told that we need to call the owner in order to get the keys, so ended up waiting for about 20 minutes outside the B&B. The keys didn't work properly. Luckily as we couldn't open the door to the building at night, some other residents happened to turn up and let us in. The metro is closed after 10 and we couldn't find a nearby bus stop - a bit tricky to go back at night particularly when some of the streets in the neighborhood seem a bit dark and dodgy.
