Location, kids pool, staff
Plenty of towels
Shower did not hook up properly, had to hold the shower in your hand. Toilet roll holder broken. Only 3 patio chairs but there were 4 people staying at the accomodation.
Good Location, clean Pool Near Beach, Loreley staff and comfortable Appartement
Wiew to the Sea. Size of terrazze.
Aircondition did make more noise than other air onditions. Flood of water inside because of condense fault from aircondition. After fixing, flood of water on terrazze.
Great location! The beach is just across the street and ATM, bars and restaurants are just around the corner. Try Lido on the Beach for great seafood and sunset - or get a table in the garden at Daps, where they serve great food under the olive trees. Ask for lamb or the Pizza Diavola. You wont be disapponted. But getting back to the Residence Buganvilla. Book it! You will noy be disappointed. Its great value for Money.
towels changing and cleaning once a week- very bad!
The location is fabulous!
Room furniture very old and uncomfortable. Shower extremely small! In this hotel you are almost charged for breathing, using a wasching machine or dryer , if you need to borrow a beach towel etc.
Location. Fab view from apartment. And staff very nice - especially Antonella . Will return Ann
Great location right on the beach. Supermarket to the rear (if you walk towards the city you can reach 2 larger supermarkets). Balcony overlooking the pool. Good size apartment. 15-20 minute walk to old town along beach front. Close to Lido Restaurant on the beach which is lovely!
No english TV chanels. Can be noisey from restaurant below. Problem with ants in the apartment. The buses don't run often so you have to rent a car to see the rest of the island although car hire is very expensive. Mosquitos are a nightmare - got eaten alive!
We liked the pool.
The apartment was incredibly noisy at night. You could hear all the neighbours and we were above a bar that played loud music until the early hours of the morning. When we were due to check out on our day of departure the cleaner practically chased us put of the apartment for being 30mins late checking out. She was very rude and bad tempered. I will not be recommending this accommodation to anyone.
The pool was ok.
The area wasn't nice at all! The apartment wasn't clean and there was water leaking from the ceiling.
Nice staff, good location-close to nice beaches, walking distance to the old town, nice pool area, good value for the money! :-)
unconfortable beds and pillows
Great location, in walking distance from the old town of Alghero and two excellent beaches. Very helpful staff and the room was great value for money. The kids loved the pool, and it was very nice and cleaned every day.
Location right across the street from the beach, pool access, near a super market, easy (though slightly long) walk to the harbor/old town. Free street parking till June 1st.
Lido beach was a little more dirty than other beaches in Alghero, may have been because we were in off season. Shower was TINY and draining slowly. Noise is typical for cheaper European hotels, but we were exhausted so we still fell asleep pretty easily.
Pool was great Staff were understanding - allowed us to check-out late Location was perfect for us
Noisy... The people staying in the apartment above us very very loud. Both late at night and early in the morning There was also a concert going on in the restaurant below us all Sunday afternoon/early evening which was quite annoying
The fact that they had a luggage room, showers and toilets we could use at our leisure on departure day.
Apartment infested with ants Customer service poor Balcony with dead plants and dismal sea view despite booking room with sea view Bed uncomfortable Bathroom dingy Unpleasant decor and upkeep Pool beside a carpark Wifi not free
Rooms were clean although smaller than expected.
Balcony facing on to messy building site. Although apartments are across from the sea, there is a run down building on the beach blocking view and access. Beach is not nice, full of seaweed, Alghero is named after seaweed!
close to the beach and the city close to the supermarket free parking
small shower no free wifi key lock some ants
The location was great and the staff very friendly. The rooms were spacious and the balcony was great.
The rooms were nice but noisy, one could hear every move of the other hotel guests at night, especially when they moved the chairs across the tile floor. There was an issue with the hot water and often, there was no hot water available to take a shower - this was a bit of a problem in the off-season when it was still a bit chilly and windy.
Great location.. very clean, staff very nice and helpfull
pity about the building across the road it looked derelict and took away from the beautiful view
The staff excellent, a large balcony with a sea view, secure parking for 5E per day and nice pool.
Apartment 23 - is above a very noisy bar, that starts with their noise at around 7.00am and does not shut shop until around 1.00am. The shower was extremely cramp and the bed was uncomfortably soft. Wifi seemed unreliable.
great location, nice staff and ok appartements. All in all very good value for money.
saggy beds, sloooooow wifi
The hotel was placed just by the beach and we got a room with a good view of the sea and of Alghero´s Old Town. Sometimes when you book seaview you end up with just a tiny glimpse of the water. But not this time - we got a spacious balcony with a great view of the sea! If we decided to leave the car at the hotel the old town of Alghero was only ca 20 walking minutes away. And this was a really nice walk along the sea/beach. Another plus was the ristorante/pizzeria in the same building as the hotel. Great food at good prices.
Pool and beach nearby.
Noise at night.
The sea view and the location, which is in front of the beach.
Old boiler that takes hours to be reheated after one shower. Small and really unpleasant shower! And the worst part is: a queen size bed but with 2 single matress, which creates a hole in the middle of the bed! In this case you don't get for what you paid for!!!
