A shelter of calm and peace, the residence is a well equipped complex for relaxing stays and exciting holidays.
The property owes its name to the proximity to tomb of the great Flavio Magno Aurelio Cassiodoro. He was son of an important functionary of the Ostrogoth king Teodorico who spent his life covering important political functions for the kingdom, whilst trying to blend the Roman and the Gothic elements of his age, and to mediate between the various Barbarian populations subjugated by the empire. His late years were spent studying, writing and founding a ‘scriptorium’, a sort of monastery dedicated to collect and reproduce manuscripts, whose ruins are still visible in the vicinity of Staletti.

The Cassiodoro Residence has the same characteristics of the area of Soverato, which is sunny and quiet which slow and calm rhythms. It is located in the green heart of the region, in the charming town of Staletti, which is not very far from the Soverato. The residence is just 2.5 km away from the sea in a clean and quiet patch of coast, ideal for a swim or a dive.

Lamezia Terme Airport: approximately 50 km.
By Train:
The main train station is Soverato, which is about 4 km away. From here you need to follow the signs towards Stalettì
By Car:
- Take the A3 motorway (Salerno-Reggio Calabria).
- Exit at Lamezia Terme.
- Follow the signs towards Catanzaro/Soverato.
