Location, and the room was large. The bathroom was huge for European standards.
Balcony opened up to the middle of the apartment complex.
very good location
loud ventilation sound during the night, but during the day very quiet
Location! Very hot water all time and the bath! Friendly attitude!
Bit noise from the street traffic
Lovely quiet, clean, comfortable apartment, centrally situated to travel around Milan. Very helpful staff. Beautiful clean massive bath towels.
All the crockery and the cutlery in our kitchen was greasy. No dishwash liquid was supplied. Remnants of potato crisps still in one of the bowls.
Very spacious rooms, quiet building, functionally equipped, very near to train station and metro
Old and sober furniture, almost invisible staff
Location. spaciousness of room. Cleanliness of room. This was the best accommodation for value we had in our 3 week trip in Italy. Short walk to train station. Short walk to shuttle bus to Milan airports. Metro stations nearby
The only negative is that, due to the type of accommodation it is, the desk is not manned except during business hours during the weekend. This could result in inconveniences.
Great location near train station, good neighbourhood, lots of room great staff, very clean. Quiet. Would definitely stay in this location again
Very convenient location near by the central railway station of Milan and subway station (all about 5 minutes by walk). Wonderful and very comfortable apartment in beautiful house. Very clear and calm. Nice equipped.
Space. Security. Full kitchen. Staff. Location.
-Very near to the train st.& supermkt -Quite new - Good kitchen facilities - Spacious living&dining room - Quiet area
- The elevator : if someone who previously use the lift doesn't close its metal door properly, it doesn't function.
Unfortunately our rooms had a unpleasant musty odour.
The room was a very nice suite and very spacious. I attended the 2014 Italian Grand Prix in Monza, so the location of the hotel was perfect for walking to the train station each day for the short ride to Monza. The metro is there as well, so going into town to visit Duomo, shops, restaurants, etc. is easy.
There's no breakfast and little contact with the staff. If you're after that homey, European feel, this isn't it. (But the old, small elevator is fun!)
Lady on desk very helpful, took us to the room, very comfortable apartment, clean, linen good, Close to central station and metro very close easy to find. Very secure locked front door, and apartment was secure. Felt safe in the area. Would return to this hotel
5 mins from central station 8 mins from supermarket 3 mins from metro
Generally , most things about the place are good.
The huge door keys. Very minimal kitchen equipment compared to other apartments we have stayed in.
I liked the roomyness of the rooms, no feeling of being cramped. I liked the two balconies in the apartment; they were great for looking down at the world below. The parking was convenient, though a bit pricey. All in all, a great lodging experience. We enjoyed it.
Nothing not to like.
Residence de la Gare provides top quality accommodation with a spacious bedroom and living area with kitchenette. It is located in close proximity to the main railway station and transfers to and from the airport. The apartment was clean although the decor is somewhat drab.
The greatest strength of this accommodation is also a negative. This apparent contradiction is due to its excellent location within a few hundred meters of the central railway station but in a area almost devoid of restaurants, cafes, supermarkets or other facilities. In fact, the general locality leaves much to be desired. Surprisingly, the crockery does not include wine glasses so drinking wine with one's meal from a glass tumbler is less than appealing.
Big space with kitchen, living room, bedroom and big bathroom.
Bit old decoration.
Very good location if you are traveling by train, and also very close to the subway station. The apartment is spacious, air-conditioned, and well equipped. I highly recommend it.
Location. Apartment was very roomy and comfortable. Gracious apartment in a gracious old building.
Can't think of anything.
good location (close to all kind of transport,), cleanliness, well equipped, good WiFi, old fashioned, but stylish. Nothing to complain. I would recommend.
The apartment was large and comfortable. It was well appointed; the bathroom and shower were clean and spacious. The location was great; within walking distance of the Central (Train) Station and Metro.
Only a few minor things. The apartment is a little difficult to find. We checked out early to go to Lake Como. The clerk on duty was pleasant and tried hard, but was clearly challenged by the checkout process.
This service apartment is near the train station about 5 mins to the metro (Caiazzo) and 10 mins to Milan Centrale Train Station.
The key to the hotel was very difficult to use. Sometime need to spend close to 5 mins just to lock and unlock the door. Should use pin number or access card to the door instead of the 'ancient key lock'. There are stairs to the elevator so this does not help people with heavy suit cases.
The space is perfect. As it's quite big and has a lot of space for your luggages.
We got the room on the first floor near the street. It's quite loud in the morning and night. Wi-Fi sometime doesn't work properly and quite slow.
