Completely renovated, Hotel Esplanade is a refined and nostalgic hotel in Italian art nouveau style offering very comfortable, functional accommodations in one of Italy’s most beautiful seaside resorts.

Immersed in a charming context of sea, hills and mountains, the hotel is just a few steps from the beach, and has the lush park of Pineta di Ponente right behind it. The terraces of Hotel Esplanade overlook the multicoloured umbrellas of Viareggio’s beach.

The hotel boasts a sophisticated atmosphere, featuring stuccoes, soft architectural curves and attentive professional staff in elegant, traditional uniforms. An excellent on-site restaurant is available, as well as 30 flats with living area in which you may prepare your own meals.

Plus I was there in low season and the gently upgrated my room (without aking for it). only one comment : although I was told there was the connection in the room (I don't carry my computer) there was no internet point or business center in the common space that is to say no computers avalaible for the customers.	9.5

Not quite in the center of the beach boulevard but still an ok location. Breakfast was ok. Beach chairs were not included in the hotel price and were over 20 eur extra per day.	7.5

L'edificio è un po' vecchio e gli appartamenti sono diversi tra loro (il nostro, essendo l'ultimo, era un po' ristretto...) Il bagno è davvero ridotto e la doccia, impianto idrico compreso, è davvero poco pratica. Considerando che al mare l'utilizzo è quotidiano, si potrebbe pensare di migliorare la struttura. Se dovesse accedere un portatore di handicap, non riuscirebbe neppure a salire gli scalini di accesso.	8
