Residence Hotel La Giara  

The residence has a very nice garden. It's close to the city center and the ferry.

We heard all night long dogs barking. If you are not used to this kind of noise, better sleep with you windows closed.

We had a great time in this beautiful hotel and its garden. The rooms are very spacious and clean, the service is excellent. Beautiful garden and swimming-pool (although the weather was a bit too cold early March). Excellent price/quality relationship.

The location and breakfast is great! The staff is also nice but it's still a bit difficulty for us who do not know Italian. It is a kind reminder that you should take the correct ferry services (Siremar and Ustica) to Lipari. That will bring you to the corrent port which is also more near Hotel La Giara.

It is still not easy to find the sign for this hotel. You may need some luck to find it.

The hotel is located in 3 minutes from the port. You can easily reach it from the embankment as there is a special gate for the guests of the hotel. The staff is very friendly. There is a nice garden and a swimming pool. Everything is clean. The room isvery spacy with everything you need (there is even a kitchen). the breakfast is good. I will recommend this place both for a short stay to visit just Lipori and for a longer stay to visit other irlands staying in this hotel a week or more.

Only pillows ;) they are too big and tough but it is very subjective

Very modern Apartment with quality fixtures. Very clean and comfortable. Close to one port where the ferries arrive and within walking distance of the other where the boats to other islands depart. Very close to the old town center where there are many stores, restaurants and a wonderful museum.

The apartment was a bit expensive for the fringe of the season. It was difficult to communicate with the personnel at the desk since they did not have any English, but they tried their best to respond.

The rooms were very clean and new. It was nice to have a kitchen in our apartment. The cleaning service was very good. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The gardens and a swimming pool area are well kept.

There are some acoustic problems in the building, which might be a problem for light sleepers.

Très bonne situation géographique à 5min de l'embarcadère. Très bon rapport qualité/prix. Environnement très agréable et très propre. Le plus: le cocktail de bienvenu très bon et rafraîchissant.

avevamo già soggiornato all'hotel La Giara e abbiamo trovato confermato anche questa volta il nostro ottimo giudizio: staff disponibile e gentile, camere ampie e pulite, bella piscina, bellissimo giardino ben curato, vicinanza al porto e al centro di Lipari.

la colazione non è molto varia ma abbiamo riscontrato lo stesso problema anche in altri hotel di Lipari

Su jardin,su ubicacion junto al puerto,su tranquilidad.

Las habitaciones resultan frias para esta epoca. Un poco caro.

La sua collocazione all'interno del paese, ma con ampi spazi interni.

Hôtel très bien situé, à proximité du bord de mer, des commerces et restaurants. Environnement agréable en raison du jardin et de la piscine. Taille de l'établissement pas trop importante et chambres avec une terrasse pour profiter du jardin.

Accueil très sympa et chaleureux. L’hôtel est bien situé à 2 pas de l'arrivée des ferries. Joli jardin bien entretenu, belle piscine, grande chambre avec terrasse.

Ce commentaire n'est pas du fait de l'hôtel mais est à signaler: nos nuits ont été "pourries" par les aboiements incessants de chiens du voisinage (qui sont par ailleurs très calmes dans la journée).
