Residence Hotel La Giara

Would be good if some heating arrangement is there in the rooms during the winter period.

We visited Lipari during the off season, which makes the hospitality at La Giara in some ways that much more notable. We got a great low season rate, but were never made to feel forgotten or under-appreciated, even on the night when we were the only guests. The staff was lovely, and we even made dinner one night using our lovely little kitchenette disguised as a closet.

We had a bad mosquito problem one night, but that isn't the hotel's fault.

Very nice and helpful staff and comfortable room with kitchen and terrace. It is however necessary to speak some Italian as staff only speaks Italian.

A swimmingpool would be very nice especially as you need to take the bus to reach the nearest beach (10 min drive).

Ho apprezzato gentilezza, pulizia, razionalita' delle camere, posizione e parcheggio disponibile. Nel complesso una buona struttura ben gestita e comoda. Da consigliare

De mevrouw die het ontbijt verzorgde vond ik erg aardig en behulpzaam. bovendien was ze lief voor onze dochter. Wel was het vooral met handen en voeten praten want deze mevrouw sprak vrijwel geen Engels. Dit is jammer want ik had enige communicatie met deze medewerker zeker leuk gevonden. Op de kamer was alles goed verzorgd, een mooie tuin en een prettige ruime kamer.

Die Zimmer waren sehr geräumig.
