It was a pity that the residence had only 2 spots in the building with wifi. Therefore, you have to leave your apartment to get on the internet.
Like others also have said, the times if the swimmingpool were quite odd. But this didn't bother us too much, as we went to the beach during the day.
Tip to the staf: print out the times of departure of the busses, and hang it up on the door of the residence. This is a nice service for your guests.
Because our luggage got lost by the airport, but for no purpose, we waited till the evening for it to arrive. Therefore we arrived very late at the residence (22.30), very past the incheck hours. In despair we phoned the staff, if it were still possible to get in our room. The receptionist Claudio, was very surprised and a bit irritated by our late arrival, but after our explanation he was very sympathetic and gave a quick guide to our room. First impression was: looks basic but modern and very clean. The apartment has a nice small kitched with a gas stove, oven, quit big fridge, freezer, small dining table, very good air conditioning, tv with basic channels, big sized bed, mirror, closet, toilet, bidet, sink, shower and a good secured front door.
Under the resident there is this nice simple coffeebar where you can buy very nice italian coffee with some breakfast snacks (croissant, pastry with tomatosauce etc.), and about 10 meter from the residence there is a good supermarket (probably the biggest of Villasimius) where you can buy delicious italian foods but they also supply beach stuff such as rackets, diving glasses, flipflops etc.
Since the residence is situated in the north of Villasimius, it was about a 2 km walk (40 min) to the beach simius. To reach it, you have to walk through the town and a long path next to a road.
Beach Simius was quit nice, but by far didn't look like the pictures you see in Google. Our last day, lifeguard Ricardo recommend much nicer beach situated near Vullasimius such as Porto di Guinco. Since we didn't have a car, we could reach this place easily.
During our stay, every night from 21.00 till 00.00, there was this evening market. They sell things like leather product, african soap, nougat, self made paintings and more. Our impression was that the town comes alive at night, midday the shops are closed and the roads are quiet.
