Lovely big room, everything we needed.

Bit further from Pistoia that we thought -- 30 mins out in the hills.

Everything... set in a beautiful village in the Tuscan hills, restaurants just a few metres away, swimming pool overlooking what seemed like "all of Tuscany's beauty", close enough to public transport, on-site laundry, beautiful rooms, gorgeous timber and marble fitout of entire complex - and the staff... what can I say - second to none (Zafia, you made our stay in Italy complete - thank you). Would happily book for a week next time.

This place is simply amazing. Best place we've ever been at. The location is amazing, the stuff is very very nice and caring and the room itself is just perfect. Looks like five stars to me. If I ever get the chance, I would definitely come back.

Size and facilities of the room, frendly staff

The location is not very close to the center of Florence (more than 40 kilometers)

We used the Montifiore as a base to see Tuscany. Excellent location. Staff very helpful, happy to give advice on places to visit. The appartments themselves where well appointed with daily cleaning, regular towel and sheet changes. The views from our appartment spectacular. The pool cleaned daily and well maintained. I didnt mind driving the winding road to San Boronto, but it did make for an interesting seat of the pants ride, due partly to the number of cyclists climbing the hills but also due to the Italian driving skills of using the whole road including the wrong side. The restaurant next door serves excellent pizza and traditional fare, over the road similar, worth a punt on the food. I would recommend the appartments to anyone. Thank you for making the stay so enjoyable and relaxing.

Small gripes really. Only a 2 ring cooker, no oven or grill. Electric toaster came in handy though. No salad bowl, despite the local supermarket selling wonderful salad vegetables it made for an interesting use of the large pot. No corkscrew, not a big issue when a cheap one cost a few Euros at the supermarket, however given the wonderful Chianti having a corkscrew on the first night would have taken away the frustration of looking at an unopened bottle. As stated small gripes which did not detract in any way from the holiday. I would stay again.

This was our second stay at Residence Montefiore this summer and we enjoyed it very much. This time we took our kids along and they really enjoyed the pool. We had an apartment with a bedroom and a livingroom with kitchen. Very nice! We had a terass with a wonderful view. We can really recomend this hotel and the small and nice village San Baronto. We will be back if possible.

There is one thing to be cautious about and that is when you park your car in the garage under the hotel. It is very crowded and there is a possible risk that your car can be damaged by another car.

We had a fabulous week at the Montefiore,great location,large apartments,lovely staff very relaxed and happy to help about anything. We were a large party of 9,3 apartments and nothing was too much trouble. Local restaurants great and very good value for money would definately recommend this hotel and location,views are fab.

Didn't not like anything maybe a microwave in apartments would be good.

The personal were extremely friendly and helpful, the apartment was perfect. The town San Boronto was charming, the views stunning. The local restaurants very good with excellent and friendly service. Its cool in the evening which is the bonus of staying "higher up". I would recommend this location to anyone, it has easy access to motorways and train connections. Well worth the drive, will surely visit again.

Parking was sometimes difficult

Residence Montefiore is very comfortable accommodation in a delightful Italian hillside village looking over Tuscan towns like Vinci. There is a great restaurant with superb views straight across the road and the kids loved the pool.

The room we booked was excellent and very clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Location was excellent and you can easily access other cities without a problem. Car is a must

Very friendly staff, they speak english. Rooms are clean, comfortable, very well maintained and spacious. Superb value for money. The restaurant nearby has great food, wine and beer. Central location in Tuscany: 40 min drive to Florence, 10 min to Vinci, 1h to Pisa. Free coffee.

Sa vue, l'appart très sympa et grand, l'acceuil, son parking privé..

Une poêle trop petite et usée pour cuisiner mais remplacée rapidement par la réception

All'arrivo la signora (gentilissima)ci ha fatto scegliere la camera, sinceramente era impossibile scegliere tutte stupende. Veramente un soggiorno 10+++

Noi che volevamo visitare Pistoia e dintorni, l'aspetto "meno positivo" è la posizione.

La struttura è nuova e ben tenuta. Il nostro monolocale era grande, con tutto ciò di cui si ha bisogno anche per mangiare qualcosa in stanza. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è davvero notevole e in 20 minuti si arriva a Pistoia e alle terme di Montecatini o a Grotta Giusti...

La struttura è proprio sulla strada e se ti capitano le stanze che si affacciano su quel lato, la mattina ti svegli con il rumore delle macchine...

il residence è in collina, occorrono 30 minuti per scendere, qualsiasi sia la destinazione.

Penso di non aver mai trovato un alloggio così! Tutto nuovo.. grande .. E soprattutto pulito. C'era una camera.. Un piccolo salottino.. Ed un angolo cottura. Letto rifatto tutti i giorni ed asciugamani puntualmente cambiati giornalmente.

.. Unica pecca.. La posizione.. Non si è proprio nell'ombelico del mondo

La struttura è confortevole e gli appartamenti spaziosi e molto puliti.

A szállás ár/érték aránya letagadhatatlan. A szobák, ill. az egész szálloda igényes, jól felszerelt, tiszta. A tetőteraszról csodás a naplemente.

A korábbi hozzászólásokkal ellentétben egy szót sem beszéltek angolul, de kézjelekkel nagyon jól elboldogultunk. Aki ide foglal szállást, mindenképp a hátsó oldalra kérje a szobát, mert az út felől viszonylag zajos.

Montalbano ist eine sehr schöne Gegend mit gutem Zugang zu interessanten Stätten der nördlichen Toskana. Die Residence verfügt über ein Schwimmbad. Das Apartment war recht groß.

Je nach Lage der Apartments kann der Straßenlärm doch sehr stark stören. Die Ausstattung der Küchenzeile ist alt und verbraucht. Sofa und Bett waren durchgesessen bzw. -gelegen.
