What a fabulous place to visit. We stayed 6 nights which I think was a little too long. 3-4 nights would have been sufficient. We hired motor scooters which was a great way to see the island. Such a beautiful location with amazing clear waters to swim in.

A hidden gem, beautiful island for walking and cycling.
A hidden gem, beautiful island for walking and cycling. Great food options and lots of history. We hiked up to the old fort which had great views of the whole island. It’s derelict and dilapidated, a bit creepy really but Urbexer’s would love it as there’s stuff to see, like an old bathroom with a stone bath and what looks like a generator. We also visited the Turtle Conservation Centre, the talk is in Italian but there’s information translated and you get the gist. Some of the buildings in the port area are very beautiful and old, it has a 1930’s feel to it in places. Palazzo di Florio built by the family who made their fortune from the tuna works they built, also beautiful, has palm trees an looks stunning lit up at night.
Bicycle hire is the thing on the island which is mainly flat. We cycled but there are many places hiring electric bikes, and boats too. If you’re flush, hire a boat - take a picnic, perfecto!

This island is very small, but has so many amazing beaches!
This island is very small, but has so many amazing beaches! Renting a bike is the easiest way to get from beach to beach, definitely a must. There are several great restaurants and all the staff are incredibly friendly. (Although very little English is spoken by most) Could easily spend 3-5 full days on the island.

Favignana is a unique place to visit.
Favignana is a unique place to visit. We stayed there for 6 days which was enough time to truly unwind and enjoy the beautiful beaches that are plentiful in the island. The water at most beaches is crystal clear I would recommend visiting liddo burrone if you want to enjoy reclining on a deck chair with an umbrella. Cala Rossa or Bue Marino if you are a more adventurous swimmer and Cala Azzura if you just want to chill. The nearby islands have beautiful grottos you can explore that are just as nice as those in Capri. It is helpful to have basic Italian to communicate, as most of the tourists in this area are Italian and thus most of the hospitality staff have little English.

Favignana is a beautiful island with very few hills and can be easily toured by bike. Such a pleasant landscape and many many beaches you can stop and swim. It was very crowded. But the place is gorgeous and the sea is transparent. So rent a bike take your sun towel and GO!
This apartment is really close to the Favignana ferry terminal, and it is located in the square, so it is also close to various restaurants and shops. However, it was not loud at all and comfortable, and the host who welcomed us also had a pretty smile. It was very convenient because there were many shops where I could rent bicycles nearby. If I come to Favignana again, I would like to stay in this apartment definitely. Thanks to you, I feel like I had such a perfect vacation in Favignana.
Best breakfast in all of Italy!
We have travelled Italy a lot and this stay was right up there with the best. Favignana is a special place and this was a perfect base for our stay. Simple comfortable accommodation and an amazing fresh breakfast with homemade focaccia, jams and biscotti’s, and each day there was a different freshly baked cake. Our favourite was the Heaven Cake. We’d love to have the recipe! Fabulous
The location is fantastic, right on the ocean front. The breakfast room looks out over to sea from a tower. The rooms were very pleasant with comfy beds and clean bathrooms. We had such a wonderful time in Favignana cycling around (from a place next door). Its a 5 minute walk into the Old Town and 10 minutes to the port to catch the ferry,
Corallo rosso is a nice place if you want to enjoy Favignana with relax, the location is a bit far from the centre but in the middle of the nature and close to Cala rossa, bue Marino and cala azzurra gems spots of the island.
Sebastiano, the host, is a very nice and helpful person and will do the best to let you enjoy your stay.
We did arrive at the Harbor of Favignana and got picked up by car. They also helped us to get a scooter and bring us to the Cava Rossa. It was super easy and the whole family is really friendly. The location is outside of the city, but everything is reachable from there with a bike or a scooter. I can only recommend this place.
Staff very friendly, breakfast was lovely great choice different cakes and pastries. Hired an electric bike as some form of transport was needed for the location and to see the island. Our first impression of the hotel wasn’t the best as lots of gravel but it is like a miniature village. Pool area was lovely.
the best stay I’ve had in two weeks in Sicily. Giuseppe and Mladen are the best hosts. they picked me up and dropped me off at the ferry, got me a scooter for the day, helped me when the scooter tire was low on air. the room was very nice with a big bed and very comfortable. In a great location.
I am rating another hotel, a sister hotel called Cave Bianche to which we were upgraded, which was lovely. Super comfy rooms, very quiet, and interesting place in the old quarry. I thought perhaps it would feel to much like staying in a cave, but it was a really great experience.
Favignana is heaven and staying at Dimore delle Tonnare is like having your own little piece of paradise. The host Michele is fabulous - warm, welcoming, helpful, and available. The stylish flat was recently updated and is very comfortable - we couldn’t have asked for more!
Loved the location, pool & room, everything was clean and nice.
Amazing breakfast with a lot of variety.
It’s close to the centre of Favignana and the best beaches by riding a bike.
The reception staff and some waiting staff was very helpful.
Perfect apartment for a romantic getaway in Favignana, very close to the center where you can find restaurants and coffee shops and easily to reach for hiking the island. Nice terrace, small kitchen well equipped and extremely clean bathroom!
The hotel.is located right in the heart of the city making it perfect for strolling into town for meals and a great base for exploring the island. The rooms are very spacious and the staff helpful and friendly.
This is my third visit to Cave Bianche and on all occasions I have been impressed by the extremely competent and friendly staff; this time, I commend in particular the cleaning staff and the head bar tender
The hotel is newly renovated and well decorated/equipped. Great location in the centre of town. Communication with staff was super easy and friendly. Breakfast was delicious! Would definitely come back.
Top location, very close to the city Center, very close to the harbour. Staff super friendly, breakfast boys very kind and happy 😉. Nice view, and bike service in the hotel highly appreciated.
the balcony area was perfect for a couple of relaxing days sunbathing. the accommodation is 3km from the town but we knew this and hired e-bikes to get around the beautiful favignana island.
The staff were all v friendly & helpful at all times. The hotel was in a quiet location v close to the sea and all the restaurants. It was great having a place to dry beach towels etc.
