Very helpful staff
It's 10 minutes walk to the historic center. We traveled by car and they have a garage easily accessibile. We were worried about the car restricted area and this hotel worked great for us. Pelanty of restaurants and coffee places all around. Safe at night.
The price and location
kitchen small, carpet and furniture very old and uncomfortable, but the price point made this a fair deal, but probably would not stay here again
Bed was very old. Very noise. Door can't get lock from inside.
The apartment was nice and well equipped.
It was a little noisy at night and the bed was only moderately comfortable.
Convenient and comfortable 1 night stay of a family of 3. Good location: close to the historic city (20 minutes by foot), convenient secure parking (10 EUR/day, for this price the car can be left for a day after checkout), spacious appartments with balconies, large bathrooms with baths, well cleaned, well equiped, appears partially renovated recently, helpful and friendly staff speaks many languages, late reception times, nice and large common lobby with many sofas and armchairs, drink mashines.
Some common places (lifts, halls) look pretty old (as in old hotels), also bath developed an aging yellowish color. Appartments facing the street may be noisy, also conditioners are quite loud. Mosquitos in summer are a serious problem, to sleep well one MUST have a spray or anti-mosquitos plug.
I like the kitchen And everything i need i found
Goog location and parking facilities.
Old furnishing, bad smell, not dirty but feeling lousy, balcony was dirty, the pix in Booking.com are from apartment with higher price and not the one you get. Stayed for three days and there was no cleaning or change of towels, charged much higher than mentioned in booking. Never again.. P.S. There were no nets on windows and there were thousands of mosquitos- we barely slept
Close to the city center.
Poor wifi, expensive parking.
Everything. close enough to train and buses, helpful staff. condiments supplied
little bit of street noise
Amazing location. Amazing price. This hotel is 8 min walk to the station. I did the walk in 8 minutes carrying 3 bags to board my bus to go to the airport. I recommend this If you want to save money on taxi by getting the bus in and out of city from airport. Also, it is right near bus station and main train station. The staff are helpful. the rooms are large with balcony and kitchen, storage space and good size lounge room. The Wifi was very reliable too and the room is in great condition. The value you get for a apartment of this size right in Florence is amazing. I wish I stayed here longer. I am very satisfied because I stayed in another hotel which I have also reviewed on my page. Their is a laundry machine that you can use and they give you a clothes dryer to dry clothes in room or balcony, or the dryer. They welcomed me well by putting a basket of different biscuits and cakes in the room along with nutella, straberry jam, tea, coffee etc .. very very considerate and helpful. Also two free bottles of water in room and milk. My balcony had nice views of the whole street and some of the distance
I did not like the fact that their was no gym. The bed is comfortable but it is two single beds in room. I think they can upgrade the beds to be more comfortable as this bed was a spring bed.
Clean, safe and convenient
It is obvious that the stuff and the supervisors do whatever needed, to satisfy the demands of the customers. You can understand that from some small details within the apartments, but you will definitely realize it in case you will need their assistance, as it happened with us.
Well located, some 15 mins walking to the centre. The walk is very doable.
Very dirty carpet, really needs to be replaced. It is very unhealthy to stay there with children. Personnel, particularly the men, needs to improve its service, it is below any reasonable standard. Pricing unclear regarding the parking. I was promised to pay 50 eur for a whole week. Bill was however presented with 70 eur. Closet was broken, door felt on my kid, serious injury.
Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was very spacious and comfortable with full kitchen, dining table and chairs, couch, room for the kids and separate room for parents. Beds were decent, not fantastic, but better than average for our hotels in Europe. Patio was nice. Location was excellent with access to restaurants and shops, close to the public transport stations and easy transition to sightseeing in the city. Overall, this was one of the best stays we had in the month we were in Europe.
Add on charges for parking in the secure area. Would have been nice to have that included. Internet was a bit challenging, but free and it did exist, so overall, not bad. Laundry was a bit of a bust, but the staff were very fair about it and did not charge us. Exercise facility and pool would be nice, but I pretty much just sleep in hotels, so not a deal breaker.
Value for money. Could do with an update.
Internet has filters which make it difficult to use
It was in a convenient place that was handy to public transport and restaurants and cafés.
The city tax was the highest we have ever paid at €4 per person per night which makes your stay expensive.
Good, big, safe parking place for our car.Safe in/out coming to/from the house.Very near to the train station(1stop by tram).
The house's carpets and furnitures are old and the lift smells bed.
The staff was really nice, the room had a little kitchen and a big terrace. The bathroom was spacious and well equipped as well as the dining table, where there were some crackers and some instant coffee.
The wifi connection was really bad and sometimes it just did not even work, also the location is a little far, apart from that everything perfect.
location near to Central Station and hotel clean and staff friend it was very nice experience
We liked the apartment - it was huge; a lot of space, more than we would ever needed for 2 people. There was a secure parking (although paid - it was good value for money). They offer free bikes to their guests which makes going to the city center very easy and quick - a nice bike ride. There was quick and reliable internet in the room (although the description of the hotel says it's wired, it was wireless).
We had difficulties in the preliminery communication via email - on site, I found out that the lady with whom we echanged emails, Sandra, was actually very friendly and helpful so I suppose the misunderstandings via email was due to the language barrier. There was a man, whose name I didn't catch, he was at the reception when we arrived - this was the most arrogant and obnoxious man I have seen in a hotel service for a very long time. Very unpleasant experience. Everybody else was super nice but his behavior spoiled the whole experience. Not good. Be prepared and just ignore him and his remarks and all will be good. The bikes were very old - they even gave us a broken bike; after we alerted them - they changed it. Ur apartment had 2 terraces - both of them were awfully dirty - as if they were never cleaned. So don't rely on using the terrace. The overall feeling during our stay was "fear" because of all the promotional materials they gave us - penalty if you break something, penalty if you don't wash your dishes, penalty if this, penalty if that - I understand they need to ensure themselves for damages cause by the tourists but all the informational materials they gave us to help us were more intimidating than helpful.
A much nicer place than many of the reviews made me fear (I chose the place for its price and relatively easy distance from the train station and city center); I was also allowed to check in hours earlier than the official time, and the staff was quickly responsive to my needs during the day (there is no one at the desk overnight FYI)
No complaints. Just what I needed for a short weekend stay (two nights). Would return there if I went back to Florence.
Nice to have a kitchen if you're in Florence for a while; A/C works well, as does internet. Excellent value.
Needs some refurbishing inside.
Gift basket on the table was a nice touch; well-stocked on the amenities. Easy enough to get to from the station. Two elevators, making upper stories easily reachable even with lots of luggage & older people. While we didn't use the common laundry facilities (with dryer, would have had to buy tokens to use), they were there. Wireless internet was consistent. Room darkening shades were great.
No microwave or oven to warm up food. The 'bedrooms' were not fully independent rooms, but alcoves closed off with wardrobes and curtains, so privacy could have been an issue.
