Residence Porta Al Prato  

酒店的设施非常的完善，而且价格很实惠，厨房里什么工具都有，居然连筷子和红酒开瓶器都有。哈，唯一不足的- 就是稍稍离火车站远了点。步行大概40分钟。

我们入住的4人的两卧室的公寓，总的感觉非常好，是我们这次旅游的一个亮点之一。方便带小孩出来旅游，设施- 齐全，房间内活动空间大，还有阳台。可以自己煮些食物。另外，lobby 布置不错。

总体来说是一个不褒不扁的酒店,有点象公寓房改造,如果大家是几个年轻人,或者一个家庭,适合住,因为有厨房,你可以自己做早饭,因为免费的那一小篮子食品,不是很适合中国人的胃口.我们自驾,所以没有注意周围的公交设施,收停车费.这个价格,我觉得已经比较合理了.

厨房有的餐具很脏,好象没有清洗.网络信号一般,我们住的4人2室公寓,在房间搜不到信号.

The staffs, Sandra and Fernando were extremely helpful and courteous. They went the extra mile to meet our requirements and expectations of the rooms during our stay (additional blanket, water kettle and replaced light bulb). Fernando printed information and directions from the Internet for us to visit prada space and The mall which was very helpful. Overall, my family and I have a pleasant and memorable impression of Residence Porta Al Prato and will definitely stay there in our future visit. Mohd Zainal Singapore

The traffic noise in the evening was a bit annoying but we got use to it.

I like about its surrounding and the home like apartment. Fairly easy access to city center by public transportation or by walking. Fond of the way they divide the room, close together but still have privacies. Although looks old it is very clean.

- Electricity socket on the kitchen didn't work so we have to boil water in the living room. - the wifi is available but for some reason it didn't reach the high floors.

All your staff where friendly and helpful; the provision of biycicles made or stay a real treat. Given your location just outside the old city center, the bikes made everything real convienent. Thanks for you wonderful hospitality. Regards, Russell Gourley

Good value for a family/group traveling.

Security for parking and accommodation was excellent. The staff were very helpful and all spoke english very well. Beds were comfortable (standard thing - two twins make a double). Shower was great - good pressure and plenty of hot water, and it was large for Italian standards. It was in easy walking distance to the centre of Florence - 10 minutes away from the central train station, or a lovely 20 minutes via the river. There was a grocery store just a couple of minutes away, along with loads of restaurants and cafe bars. Don't expect super modern rooms, instead, it was very comfortable (old) but very clean and the bathroom linen was changed daily and the bins emptied daily. We also had two balconies, one off bedroom and one off lounge room.

It's not a case of "didn't like" but more a case of ïf improvement could be made: upgrade rooms, they are a bit tired and old looking. Division of bedroom and lounge was just a curtain. Nothing really outstanding - just needs to modernise a little.

Excellent experience at Porta Al prato. Staff outstandingly helpful. It combined the convenience of self-catering accommodtion with the service of a hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

The complimentary basket in the kitchen and bathroom!

There was only one washer and dryer, and the dryer didn't dry the clothes.

We were very pleased and pleasantly surprised. We expected a standard hotel type room but received an apartment with a wonderful courtyard view. Close to the central trainstation with local transportation available nearby. We were able to walk to several sights within a few minutes of the hotel. Very clean, good amenities.

Had some problems with the thermostat, but not a big issue.

Firstly the staff were truly friendly and helpful beyond the call of duty. The apartment was spacious, clean, equipped with most things one should need. I particularly appreciate the little basket full of complementary goodies on the dining table; it clearly states how much the hotel values its guests. There is also a large balcony that adds to the comfort. A large bathroom with all those little extras that make your life away from home a little easier. A huge thank you to everybody who made my stay in Porta Al Prato (and beyond) a very pleasurable one :)

Those little imperfections like a little bit of noise from the street, slow internet and pushy chambermaids do very little to diminish the overall value of the place.

Spacious apartment

The traffic on the street was very high even during the night, consequently the apartment was noisy. Some of the appliances were not in the best shape, freeser had no door, consequently all around had 4-5 cm thick ice.
