In the room everything is either basic, or cheap, or old, and the worst is that it's sometimes combined.
Huge problem #1 is plumbing. On the first day water pressure was incredibly weak - so weak that we couldn't properly wash hair. Next day we complained, problem was solved within 15 min, but then we understood why it was made weak - plumbing is so old that with a stronger pressure water splashes all around. Taking a shower is a challenge as well: because mixer tap is very very weary, water gets either cold or hot, but hardly ever comfortable.
Problem #2 - dishes. First, they are disparate: you have a pot-lid which fits no pot and visa versa. Second, crockery is dirty, and it's not dirty that you see food remnants on it - no - it's dirty that you feel worn-in old dirt that can't be immediately scrapped off, and probably accumulated due to that bad old plumbing, which doesn't allow you to properly wash it.
In the end, though I admit that you get what you pay for, I strongly encourage to consider other options to stay in Perugia, because if taking a shower is a challenge - probably that is not a vacation you dreamed of.
Staff is very friendly and is willing to help.
Location is average - a bit out of historical center, though reachable by foot within 15 min.
