Hotel & Residence Torino Centro    

Attention and direction on our day of arrival (10/6) from the assistant on duty on that day. Exceptional staff member!! Made our stay very pleasant and enjoyable .

We only spend two nights at the hotel and the majority of the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The internet was very poor. On the second day, we left the hotel at around 9.30am and returned in our room at 2.30pm. The room was not cleaned yet. Reception phone us to check at what time they can clean our room and we told her 4.30pm cause my son was sleeping. We met with the chamber maid in the corridor and told us that by 4.30pm she would not be there. I told her that we were going to leave soon, in fact I woke up my son and left the hotel at 1550hrs. Room was not cleaned and when I went to tell receptionist that room was not clean she was not helpful at all and said that she knew that the room was not clean. I spoke to her in english and she told me that she did not understand so I spoke to her in Italian. She said that her shift was over and said good night. On the other hand the receptionist who was on duty during the night (11 May) was very helpful. I was upset with this incident since I did not ask the receptionist that I want my beds done, I only told her that the room was not clean so that she could take a note. But she was arrogant and said that it was our fault that the room was not clean because we were in the room. She said we have clean towels as if that was enough!!!!

The breakfast was excellent! The location is just a stone's throw from the Susa train station.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was grand, clean, comfortable. The hotel is very close to the Porta Susa train station, and not far from everything you'd want to see in Turin.

Great location! Hotel is right next to Porta Susa metro and high speed rail (Italo) stations.

Staff was extremely kind. Rooms were wide, clean and with new furnitures. Breakfast was OK for a 3-start Hotel.

Amazingly helpful reception staff! Very spacios rooms equipped with nice furniture, so it brings an impression of living in a small palazzo instead of quite big hotel. Location is great, just off Porto Susa station, so I was able easily reach city center by feet (15-20 min.), while Lingotto was accesible with 10 min. Metro ride. And Porta Susa beeing home base for Italo trains makes the hotel (and Turin itself as well) very convenient starting point to explore other Italian cities and regions.

Light sensors at 3rd floor sometimes worked incorrectly, so it was a bit darker in corridors.

We liked the hotel (space, room, front office). very good price-quality balance

Breakfast could be better

The hotel is new, clean and attractive inside and the staff were very nice and helpful as to how to get around town, to the stadium, airport, etc. and what to see and do. Our room was quite large, with a big balcony, was well appointed and had the most comfortable beds/pillows of any hotel I have stayed in. It was a great choice and good value for the price. It was right next to the Porta Susa train and metro stations, with a bus stop at the front door for going into town and at the station for going to the stadium and airport. I would gladly stay there again.

The breakfast was a little carb. heavy but was ample and adequate. The walk to town around or through the train station is a bit tedious with the construction, but hopefully that will be resolved when it is finished. The convenience of the train and metro were great though.

Well, it was the second time I reserved at this hotel which has cooperative staff. Alsp, its price is too logic. Its location is strategic. It is near of porta susa train station「metro, plazzas,restutants,etc.

Shattaf is not available in wc.

Very spacious room (we were 2 persons but were given a matrimonial room since it was available) with satellite Sky TV and free wi fi. Turin seemed dead at night (after 8.30pm) nevertheless the hotel is only a few metres away from Porta Susa station and a five minute bus ride to the city centre.

The staff was very polite, the room was clean and big.

New hotel, great staff always willing to help and assist. Room is huge and very clean, free wi-fi internet that worked very well, on of main train and subway stations in front of the hotel, great breakfast, great price-value relation compared to other hotels in the city.b

No comments. All was great and as expected.

The location was perfect for rail travel and our room was a good size

A great hotel staff were vere friendly and helpful especially Slvia who went out of her way to make sure our every need was met. For a 3star hotel it was great value and in a good location. If I return to Turin I would not hesitate to book this hotel again. It was a pleasure to stay there.

There was nothing to is like. They have got it just right. Keep up the good work !,,,,

Friendly staff and clean rooms with nice view not of Torino but of some nearby properties. I know that sounds weird but the properties were very attractive.

Lack of wifi facilities. One part of the hotel had very poor reception!

An excellent hotel to stay in Torino! We loved the design of the rooms, their size, good-quality wooden furniture. The whole atmosphere of the hotel with marble floors in the hall, mosaics, wrought-iron banisters, original paintings was very pleasant and nice to stay at. The staff were very helpful and welcoming, they tried to satisfy all our needs and requests, which were quite many as we came in a group of 13 people. We had no problems with air conditioning, they sometimes switched it off during the day, but we only had to call the reception to have it on again. Though the hotel is situated very close to the train station Porta Susa, we had no problems with the noise, as the train lines are under ground. It is also a very convenient connection to other cities. The city centre is about 20 minutes walk, but you can use bus 56 which stops very close to the hotel and can take you to Piazza Castello.

After staying in Germany breakfasts seemed not quite as abundant. There were no hot dishes, but the choice was quite good: cereals, bread, butter, jam, cheese, ham, croissant, a selection of pastries, boiled eggs, sometimes sandwiches, fruit salad. The coffee in the can was not quite good, but you could order coffee from the bar, which was very good and free.

Everything

This is a very nice hotel, with large and specious rooms, comfortable beds, and tasty breakfast. The staff is always smiling and offering their help when needed. Our stay at the hotel was shorter than planned and there were no extra charges on that. Next to the hotel there is a delicious ice cream shop.

Although available in the whole hotel the internet is quite slow. It is good for checking your mail on your phone, but not very fast for browsing web site, E.G. to plan your next days.

Central location, friendly staff, large rooms for family and charming.

Challenges with aircon - wasn't helpful that individual rooms could not control their own air.
