Good location – a long walk (20-30 min.) to the center and the main sights but very easy to find and access from the A4 autorstrada if you take the Verona Est exit. Very helpful staff – they answered my questions via email before we arrived like finding the hotel, is the parking secured, etc. Staff at the reception during check-in was friendly and helpful, too. If you need anything – just call reception and they’ll have it done for you. For example, the room was a bit cold and we didn't have a remote control for the AC – when we called reception to ask for it, they sent a guy to turn on the central heating for the apartment and all was great within minutes. Good parking – off the street, in something like a private yard that the hotel has. There are many video cameras all over the building so it is secured. 24/7 reception. They offer bikes for free – we didn't use them though as Verona turned out to be not very bike-friendly city.
Wifi was VERY slow and unreliable. We were on the 7th floor so maybe that was the reason – but we specifically asked for a room with good wifi and they did confirm such a room so it was a bit disappointing and very inconvenient as we work online and we had difficulties getting our work done as quickly as we had planned.
The location was great, in a peaceful part of Verona, but within walking distance of the city center (15-20 min on foot). The apartment was very clean, spacious, supplied with everything you may need, with nice furniture, utilities, free wifi, etc. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much!
Cannot comment on the kitchen. I was only there to sleep and relax between outings.
very good position in regards to Verona, free parking, very good value for money, helpful staff.
little worn out and not enough utensils in tge kitchen
Appartment, balcony, large comfortable space.
CNN and BBC in lobby not in room.
We had 2 bikes to use for the day.
...but then again, you don't pay that much. Yet, everything is tidy and clean. You can take a walk into the inner city (ca. 20 minutes max.), and you can even rent a bike. (In our case, this was for free!) If you want to spent some time in Verona, minding the budget, this might actually be the place for you...
The rooms don't look like the ones on the pictures since all the fancy details are completely missing. If you are looking of a luxurious place, you might very well take a look somewhere else.
Dirty Kitchen, filthy washing machine, requires a deep clean. I hope I didn't catch anything there
I had a comfortable, spacious apartment for a very reasonable price. Travel around the city was easy and the desk staff were very helpful with suggestions of where to visit
A little bit out of the centre, but bus services were very good
privacy; washing machine
cleanliness - fur on the extraction fan an inch thick; freeway noise; door to shower hanging loose; lights in hallway and stairs go to total darkness with no emergency lights; a good twenty minute walk to reach central old Verona.
Friendly staff assistance when needed but not obtrusive Spacious, clean apartment Location away from the main tourist centre but close to secondary station
all staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are very clean. Usefull kitchen. With rental sycle, we can enjoy the old city of Verona.
Lot of space. Clean and comfortable, although both rooms had single beds in them. Free bike hire was a great way of getting around.
Traffic noise from the nearby main road - worse on weekdays. Quite a distance from main town in a fairly run down area of the city.
Huge apartment & very clean
No toaster in the kitchen & the shower was a bit small
Free parking, friendly staff who shared useful tips. The appt. was very large and had all the essentials. Very good value for money.
The furnishings were getting a little old and worn. Very little kitchen utensils. The place was showing signs of age however everything was functional.
Our studio was comfortable, clean and quiet, with spacious bathroom, plenty of clean towels. The balcony with table and chairs was nice place to relax. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Very good location in Borgo Venezia - 15 min. walk to the centre of Verona. WiFi was OK. Very kind and helpful staff.
the furnishings were poor and inadequate. the bed was very uncomfortable. the living room couch was terrible. we were very uncomfortable with the seating .
Noise from very busy main road and lack of kitchen utensils
Excellent value for money. Free bikes are a fantastic way to explore Verona with plenty of bike parking around. 30 min walk and about 10 min on the bikes to the centre.
Good location, near Verona downtown, clean apartment, very good cost benefit
*Staff were very friendly and very helpful - and available on reception 24 hours. They soon let us know where the local shops and buses were and gave us a little map for walking into the centre (30 minutes at an easy pace). *The price of the stay (considering the clean and spacious apartment and near location to the centre) was excellent value for money. *We found this a super base for exploring all Verona. Although it's not in the centre, it's not far out either. We used the local buses most of the time (check out the 72 hour 'Verona Card' available at museums [and elsewhere] for 20 euros which gives free use of city buses and free entry to main attractions. Tourist Info near the Arena gave us a bus timetable). *We liked the fact that this is not in a tourist area and enjoyed walking round some of the local shops and streets. *Good bus connections to and from the airport via the main Verona Railway/Bus Station. The bus stop is right by the taxi rank at the airport - Bus 199 to the station. Then take 11, 12 or 13 (90. 91, 92, 98 at night or Sundays) to Porta Vescovo stop. *Good bus connection to Sirmione (on Lake Garda). Take ln026 from the main station. *If, like us, you prefer the space and freedom of an apartment and don't mind walking and using the buses a little - we would really recommend this as a place to stay.
No complaints at all - we would certainly come again! (We tended to avoid the walk into town by using the buses. You might consider using a taxi [in spite of the queue] after the opera as the night buses only run really late on Fridays and Saturdays and even then are very infrequent.)
Friendly staff Very close to the city center by foot
2 bathrooms lots of room free wi-fi
Nothing like the pictures, too far from the center, too complicated building, no breakfast available and not many places around to eat.
The opera, historic places and parks are in walking distance; quiet, friendly personal, very good price-performance ratio
Very basic equipment in dishes and cutlery
