Very good facilities. Our double room included a balcony, ensuite and spacious room with a fridge, mini kitchen and king size bed. Plenty of space and hotel staff very accommodating and helpful. Location about 20 mins walk from the metro that takes 10 mins to get into the city centre. 25 min walk from the Vatican museums and St Peter's.
Shower didn't stay hot for long and had to put up with a cold shower or two.
This was our first trip to Rome, and it was amazing. The Villa Tassoni was a great stay, our room was clean the bathroom was clean and we had hot water all the time, senior Francesco was nice he explaind to us where to go what to see.we where extremely satisfied we will recomand it to our friends .
There was nothing that we did not like.
The hotel was in pretty good location, close to the Vatican. The staff was helpful and friendly. We had a room with a balcony and could enjoy a nice view. The bathroom was clean and there was a tiny kitchen annex to our disposal. A few local cafes are located nearby, so if you want to grab a nice breakfast without tons of tourists, it's a good choice. For a short stay such as mine, it was quite good value for money.
The walls are really thin and we could hear guests from room next door talking, so it didn't feel really private. The balcony window shutters had a broken handle, so they wouldn't close properly and opening a room window was really difficult- the frame was stuck. The cleaning ladies came at different times each day and since there was no "don't disturb" card available, it was a bit awkward asking them to come back later. The kitchen annex was poorly equipped: no trash bag (we put one inside the can, then the cleaning ladies threw it away, but didn't give us a new one...), no sugar/salt- it's not a large expense to have a few packets ready for guests in the room. One last thing: the weather outside was quite good, but it was cold in the room at night. An additional blanket in the wardrobe would have been nice.
the appartment is big and spacious the staff is pleasant and tries to help...
location is too far from city center and transportation is poor. the equipment is poor and almost not existing- when you try to use the gaz to cook or boil something the electrecity falls.. no toilet paper is supplied unless you go and get it
Nice neighborhood with great restaurant and awesome bakery nearby. Staff very congenial and helpful.
Very noisy. Beds were not comfortable.
location and staff
dei had simpli knife for bread or fruits...
Friendly, nice bed, clean bathroom and toilet.
Curtains very grubby Drains make bathroom very smelly.
Location close to the Vatican. Helpful staff
Stuff is welcoming and helpful, Subway is in the walking distance from the Residence, Vatican can be reached within 20 mins by feet, lots of places to eat around and supermarkets.
We didn't like the room, it was cold and wet, no windows, only a door to the garden. Room looks a bit shabby. We also didn't like the equipment in the kitchen. No teapot, knife that can't cut anything. Maybe there are other nicer rooms in this residence and maybe upper floor rooms are not that humid, anyway our room was not nice.
the bathroom is clean and neat, but the only have five minutes hot water for shower, the wifi is really slow, barely can receive phone signals and wifi in the room.
Close to Vatican City
Noisy boiler room, woke us up every time somebody turned a tap on.
Staff Location Rooms
This hotel doesn't live up to it's asvertisement if being comfortable and remolded. It is so outdated. In order to take a hot shower you have to let the hot water tank heat up for 3 hrs. Good thing we realized that it had to be turned on. Mold around faucet. Bed was horrible felt like we were laying on springs. We checked out the next morning, thankfully we were able to book another hotel so we could enjoy our trip to Rome.
The 'old' view out the window. Two bedrooms plus spacious lounge area. Air conditioner worked well. Staff always helpful. Good to have internet. Close to supermarket and bus. Not touristy.
Matrimonial bed ineffective as we kept falling to the edge! The ridge in the middle was awful. Floor dirty, my bare feet went black. Internet didn't work in all rooms. Woken by the shower noises in room above us, and they showered in the middle of the night. Most disappointing was the lack of kitchen facilities...one pot, no plug in the sink, no tea towel to dry dishes, one knife, no lids...very poor. We wanted to cook and were told we needed I provide equipment. Had to ask for an electric jug to make a cup of tea.
Great stay, friendly staff with easy access to bus routes or metro. The room was comfortable and clean, with a kitchenette. I highly recommend Hotel Residence Villa Tassoni.
We absolutely loved the villa, we had such amazing sunset views from the terrace. the staff were soo nice and friendly to us, even air conditioning wasnt working for couple days, they explained the situation very well. its in one of the best neighborhoods of rome with so many glamorous villas around and in only 10 mins walking distance to metro. We cant wait to get back to Rome and stay in Villa Tassoni again.
double bed instead of two combined single beds please:)
Helpful Staff Local restaurants short walk Secure parking
Utensils limited a few decent glasses and cups would be good. Small old lift.
There are many pure Italian restaurants close to the villa. Tourists are rare there.
Staff did not seem to be satisfied. There were no family atmosphere. Just like in normal hotel.
Villa Tassoni has the most value for the money in Rome. I have never had a bad room there. The staff is always helpful; and the place is extremely clean. If you know the bus system in Rome, this is the place to stay.
WiFi can be inconsistent, but, for the most part, it works.
near Vatican check-in late in the evening free wi-fi mini-kitchens, furniture
street noise (cars, motorbikes) toilette smell in the bathroom
Nice neighborhood. Private garden terrace. Large bed. Great a/c.
Tiny bathroom without shower curtain.
The location is wonderful, situated in quiet yet colorful neigborhood with fantastic orange and palm tries, rustic buildings with gardens... An old, authentic Italian bakery is very neer to the hotel, bus station with several busses going to different directions is just across the street. 2 bus stations from their is a starting poinf of Adriano Doria Str. and we enjoyed their in the fruit and vegetable market- Mercato. if you're a fan of Italian cuisine it's one of the destinations you shouldn't miss. We had a great, comfortable apartment with kitchen and romantic balcony with view on the neigborhood. Excellent value for money, and I would suggest this hotel to friends and family, and certanly will come again on our next visit to Rome.
A small disadvantage was sometimes a lack of hot water in the apartmant, but this was occasinaly, not all the time.
