We reserved a double room but we received a small appartment for the same price. (Not a really small one) with sea view. We were very pleased. The only trouble is that the hotel overhang the road and it was a little too noisy. (But most of the hotels may be in this case.)

We love the huge balcony with wonderful and beautiful views of sorrento. Continental brekkie was fine but ran out out after 9.30am. Room was spacious with a separate dining area and kitchen which was unexpected great. Very firm double bed and noise totally cut out by the shutters and double glazed glass doors. Though third single bed was a gold out futon bed. Hope this could be improved fir future. Love the walk to and from town centre as the sea views along the way were enchanting. Though the road reaching the hotel path was a little windy and dangerous as cars speeding from both ways and very difficult to gauge when to cross the road. So far 3 days, we survived and will definitely retune jn the future and would highly recommend to friends and families especially the price was relevant compared to many others in sorrento. Hotel staff are friendly compared to the other Italian hotels and train ticket offices in other Italian cities. Overall, sorrento is a beautiful place to visit. And thanks to the staff that kindly moved our clothes to dry on the sun on the spacious balcony.

Could do better with top ups of pastries that were eaten by other guests which I had no chance of having. And I did pay for them, too. Otherwise, everything was great.

At reception desk they meet you with a smile. We liked breakfast. For breakfast we got same cappuccino as you get in a restaurant for 2-3 euro. There were little kitchen and refrigerator and rooms were spacey.

We ordered cheaper room which happened to be in front of a busy street. The room is old furnished and smells old. The first day we felt like we have arrived at my grandma's room. Other negative side is that when you go out of the hotel you step directly in the street without sidewalk for pedestrians and sidewalk starts about 50 meters away. The train station is 20 minutes walk. Overall if you plan to stay more in Sorrento and enjoy a see view this hotel will be a fair option, but if you plan to travel to Capri, Vezuvius, Pompei, Naples, Amalfi, I would check other hotels.

It was me and my adult daughter..loved the location, room was very large and the view was even bigger!! Easy walk to city center (although I would recommend taking a cab if you come in on the train and have luggage..that first trip can be daunting,l especially at night) we did the cab and it was the right thing...then walked to the train during the day when we left, it's about a 20 minute easy walk. Staff was helpful and nice. Morning breakfast was nice, again the views!!! First class!!

Lovely sea view, very large room and the convenience of a small kitchen made this a good choice. Bed was comfortable and bath with space enough to actually move around. Internet service worked consistently and there was on site parking. Staff friendly and helpful, giving us some wonderful suggestions for getting around Sorrento. Breakfast was included in our rate.

Getting in and out of the parking lot was difficult at best. The kitchenette, located in a large wardrobe, came with a dire warning that if we didn't leave it clean, we'd have an extra 10 Euros added to our bill. They provide one small roll of paper towels. When we called to desk to ask about detergent to wash dishes, they said we could come down and purchase a kit, complete with liquid and a sponge, for an additional 5 Euros. If you are not tall, using the microwave, perched high on the shelf, will be a problem. The hairdryer lacked power so was nearly useless. A better choice would have been to stand on the balcony in the wind wielding one's hairbrush. Breakfast was okay.

The room was big with a kitchen and handy fridge. The view was stunning across Sorrento to the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. The pool was very refreshing, but closed at 6pm! Why? Staff were very helpful and parking was on site at the front door. A bonus! Terrace doors opened onto the view from the bedroom and the sitting room. Great!

Pool closed at 6pm and not much within walking distance for food. Room was not very clean, cobwebs and dust.

we really enjoyed our stay at the miramare , the views were spectacular and our room was more than we expected. the staff at reception were always helpfull and always had a smile for us . Thanks miramare for a great holiday and we would not hesitate to reccomend your fine hotel
