The location is close to the centre of the city. The apartment was quite big and well equipped. It could not have been cleaner and the manager was very helpful. There was daily cleaning. The taverna at the front of the building was good value and served tasty food.

You are in a city and the life of the city goes on around you. There is some noise, but it did not bother either of us. If you need near silence, shut the double glazed windows and put on the excellent air conditioning.

Wonderful location close to the historic centre, good restaurants and shopping. Franco was very welcoming and accommodating. Well kept tidy and clean sleek apartments. Hotel. style service. Worth a return visit.

The cafe downstairs worked till very late, so it was a bit noisy at nights, however if you stay in one bedroom apartments their windows go on a side street so its not noisy

Great place to stay, centrally located in Bologna. I would book this place again if I come back and would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling to Bologna. Franco was very accommodating, room clean and spacious and the location is just superb. Happy to have found this gem!

Residenza Ariosto has a brilliant location. Within a few minutes walk you can be in the historic centre of Bologna. It is also close to transport links. Next door is a great trattoria. Franco was wonderful - so helpful and gave us some great tips of things to see. We'd absolutely recommend these apartments.

Perfect location, stuff (Franco) was kind and really helpfull. Clean with all electric appliances you could need (even washing machine and iron!!) and a machine to make a fresh espresso! Big rooms (2) and a large kitchen-dinning room. And a few steps from Piazza Maggiore. I would suggest it to evereyone!!

Me and my mother loved so much our stay at Residenza Ariosto. The apartment is impeccable designed, nothing strident or uncomfortable, and the location is excellent, just a couple of steps from via independenza and piazza magiore, with many tasty places to eat in its vicinity. It is a very wise choice for Bologna

Very comfortable, spacious, quiet, well equipped apartment within walking distance of all the sights of Bologna. We came from the airport by bus and, with good directions, found the place easily. Franco is extremely helpful and keen for you to enjoy the city. Would definitely stay here again..

The towels! When I read someone's review criticising towels I thought 'how fussy'. So we had a laugh at the stiff oversized teatowels! Seriously though, who cares?

Franco is a fantastic host, and as said in other reviews the apartment is spacious, clean and tidy with everything you need. We arrived very early in the morning and Franco had our room ready for us. The apartment could not be in a better position for everything in Bologna. The perfect city break. We will definitely return and would stay at Franco's apartment

Could hear noise from people coming trough the (internal) hallway but we had no trouble sleeping.

Location a short walk from bologna centre. Spacious, modern and bright with mostly ikea furnishings. Great restaurant next door.

No kettle (expected to make tea in a coffee maker). No particular view out of windows.

Franco and the accommodations were wonderful. The location was in a great part of town and very convenient.

The only downfall was our double mattress in the triple room. Everything else was perfect!
