Amazing Location, staff and familiar environment.
Breakfast is really good but probably could have a little bit more variety
Personnel is very responsible, cultured, sympathic and with lots of fine aspects. Special thanks to Vera, Gisoppe, Vincenzo. Location is ideal. In one day, we walked through all places.
Last year at Eastern we were for the first time in this hotel. It had no doubt we would come back. Ave Roma is a great hotel with an outstanding service. If we go back to Rome it will be in this hotel!
The location was perfect, almost walkable distance to all the major spots one would like to visit while in Rome. Rooms are nice and clean with decent staff. The
Breakfast could have been better
Excellent location, very welcoming staff. can't go wrong
vincenzo is the ultimate guide tour and will help you tour around rome. great place with great location
the blue room was so cute. Angle curtains and all!!! We slept like logs and the location can't be beat. Nothing was more than a 15 minute walk. The staff even helped us route a course that got us to all the sites in one day!!! We love it and plan on coming back!!
Vincenzo makes the place his welcome and his knowledge are wonderful-he makes you feel like family -he will organise anything you want,You do an excellent job Vincenzo.Vera is also very good-thankyou both for a great stay
the only thing which is the same over all Italy-the need better food for breakfast-eggs and protein for energy
Very kind staff! Good breakfast. (also gluten free alternative when I asked for this) Good location, we could walk to everything. Good service and a nice hotel! Recommend it to everyone!
- The location of Ave Roma is super : walking distance from about anywhere - The staff is very friendly and helpfull - The rooms are clean, large enough and comfortable
- No major disappointments for me.
Before having decided on Residenza Ave Roma I had looked through scores of other Rome hotels. I should say I have never regreted my choice.. We really enjoyed our 5 nights spent in this cosy little nook of the Eternal City. The host of the reception, it' the best way to describe him, Vencenzo, was marvellous. He was always ready with his advice and practical help. Vera, the other charming and amicable spirit of the place, was always there for you when you had a question or wanted to know how to get around the city. Wonderful people, comfortable room, varied and well served breakfast. And the location...It's unbeatable. The Castle of St. Angel is the first thig you see when you leave Residenza. To cut a long story short the best place to spend a couple of nights in Rome. Tanya and Michael , Warsaw, Poland
The room is large and was very quiet. We found the breakfast to be more than adequate,
One small problem was that the manager told us we had to pay in cash, euros. This was not a problem for us as we use our debit card to get local currency, but for some travelers this may be a problem.
This place is in the perfect location, you are so close to the Vatican, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon and so much more. We didn't take a car anywhere and were able to walk to see all of the sites! Vincenzo and Vera were wonderful to have there and gave EXCELLENT recommendations for great places to eat! Would definitely go back, thank you for a great stay!
We received exceptionally friendly and warm hospitality throughout our stay. Vincenzo and Vera were thoughtful, knowledgeable and helpful in planning our sight seeing and transport around Rome. We could not have wished for a more enjoyable stay.
Excellent location within walking distance to Vatican, Piazza Navonne, Spanish Steps, and Pantheon. Delicious continental breakfast. Vera was delightful and a big help. She made our stay very comfortable. We highly recommend.
Excellent location, friendly & helpful staff, really enjoyable break in Rome . Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to family & friends.
Break not long enough
We found the hotel after searching for locations near Piazza Navono, and were pleased to discover that it was also a short walk from other sights such as The Vatican City and St Angelo's Castle. Just after booking, I emailed Vincenzo, the hotel owner and he kindly arranged a personal taxi from the airport to the residence, and also the return journey after our stay. Vincenzo and Vera were very kind, hospitable and fantastic hosts. Vincenzo, in particular went out of his way to draw out a tourist route on a map whilst explaining some of Rome's extensive history. We stayed in the Luxury Room, and it was spacious for a young couple, with a four poster bed, wardrobe/drawers and an en suit bathroom. The room contained a safety deposit box, mini bar, and was secure with card key entry. We were delighted to find that the rook was cleaned to a high standard daily. We returned from our day out to fresh bed linen and fresh towels. I would rate the cleanliness of the hotel very high. Breakfast was included within the stay. There is a small breakfast area, with a 'help yourself' system. A variety of breakfast food and drink was available, such as toast, croissants, coffee and juice. The hotel's location was perfect for quick and easy access to most of the major sites. St Angelo's Castle and St Peter's Basilica are just over the River Tiber, a few minutes walk from building. Other sites such as the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain are also in close proximity, as well as a vast range of ristorantes and pizzarias. A bus or metro service is available close by to get to the further away sites (Colosseum), however we decides to walk and it only tool 20-30mins max. Overall Residenza Ave is a fantastic place to stay for couples ideally. The service and hospitality is excellent, and the rooms are clean and more that satisfactory. A great place to stay for a tour of the sites of Rome.
Ciao Vincenzo and staff, thanks for all your help and kindness, you were all molto sympatico! The room was always very clean and you gave us many advises to make our trip to Rome unforgettable. Antoon & Martine (Belgium)
Easy access to transportation and tourist sites. Multilingual staff was very helpful. Good roi, The rooms are large for Europe. We stayed on the alley side. The room was quiet and had a balcony
Credit card machine was broken. Italy is a cash country. We paid for our room online, in advance.
Staying with Vincenzo and Vera in Rome was like staying with a family! Absolutely lovely people who were very helpful and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again!
Vicenzo was very kind and helpfull to us. The first night after arriving he walked with us around the city then found us a restaurant for us to have dinner which was exellent
Location excellent. Staff very friendly and breakfast served by a very nice lady.
Our room was dark. May be more spacious in general. Machine coffee served for breakfast (though staff happily got us real coffee when we asked).
Location Very friendly & helpful staff Lovely, attractive & comfortable room Windows open
Coffee & juice not good quality Fresh crusty bread would enhance the offering
Although we came to this hotel because of its location - (that was perfact off course), the main reason that I want to recommend about the hotel is the staff and the quality of the room. Vincenzo, Vera and Dianna were so kind. right after we came they showed us how to go and were, they took care of us perfactly and we enjoyed every little second in the hotel. This place feels like home- very big and clean room with excellent shower. thank you♥
everything was amazing !
