The neighbourhood was okay. The room was very tiny, there was almost no place for anything. The bathroom was too small as well - pretty hard for a big man to take a shower. The biggest problem however was that it wasn't noise isolated at all - you could clearly hear everything from the reception and also from the restaurant (located in the inner yard just outside the window). On top of that the room wasn't cheap at all.

the trastevere area is intersting to visit. our room was very small and from the window we saw the backside of the building. It was too small that if you have 1 backage you couldn't walk through.breakfast was one coffee and one small croisant in a cafe next to the hotel.the hairdryer was broken and the closet was very small.it was too expensive for its facilities.the area hadn't metro only bus.

The location near Trastevere, Campo dei Fiori, Piazza Navona. Whether you would be a foreign, I guess your meaning of "breakfast" (included) would be different than the "cappuccino and cornetto" that you get. And whether you would be a phone-addicted, be aware that signal is not always available inside the room.

This is an inn with minimal services but prices lower than others in the area and very friendly and helpful staff. The location is superb, 5 minutes walk from Piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere. That area is exceptionally lively area at night packed with moderate price restaurants and cafes. This is my first stay in that area (I have been to Rome ten times) and I would stay in that area in the future. The inn is only five minutes from a tram that goes across the Tiber to the the area of the City with many of its main sites (a five minute ride) or alternatively one can walk. Access to and from airport is very easy and cheap via the airport train that goes to Trastevere station and the tram (as opposed to the train to the central station). Directions for the hotel should very precise since there is only a small panel with the hotel name, which is next to the door bell in a large building. The street numbers are not in a consistent pattern and the neighbors on the street did not know where the inn was.

Sorry I don't speak Italian but came to Rome on vacation; the hotel was convenient, the manager was informative and polite; the beds were adequate and the pillows were great. Would recommend as a local (Trastevere) inn.

Everything about this b&b was great located inside a residential building on the first floor, the location itself is excellent which is a few streets away from the center Trastevere, which is really where you should want to be staying in Rome. It's cozy, cute, colorful, perfect for a small group of people. The restaurant downstairs makes things easier as a breakfast and dinner spot, the staff is also splendid there. The street is busy, but it just gives you a feel of "living in Rome" which is great! For an older couple you might want to ask for a room without a street-view to avoid the noise. The one thing I would say I didn't like if anything, was the Air Conditioner situation which was a bit vague to be honest. They switch it off and turn it on whenever they wanted. Luckily I speak Italian and when I went to ask a specific person working there, they told me a story about the sound of the A.C. which didn't appeal to the residents of the building. If you go during the hot humid summer of Italy, you will be bothered by this. Otherwise the weather was fine when I was there so it didn't matter much opening a window.

The bed and breakfast was good for a short stay. Staff were very helpful and polite. The facilities were basic but very clean. Towels were replaced every day as were soaps / shampoos etc. Breakfast was coffee and a pastry but were efficient and more than some hotels offered at this price range. It was on a busy street so noisy up till about midnight but we slept very well even with windows open. A good stay. Decor will need updating soon. Air conditioning is weak and might be an issue in high summer - we stayed in October and it was ok.

The bathroom is very dirty and old. The airconditioner is on a timer and sometimes gets really hot when it's off. The location wasn't great not a lit of restaurants around, stray dogs and sometimes a bit difficult to get to the city centre. Staff could barely speak english and the wifi only worked in the corridors. M

L'emplacement, en plein coeur de Trastereve. Attention arnaque.

Wenn man Rom besichtigen will, liegt dieses kleine Hotel ideal. Personal sehr hilfsbereit.

“This is a fabulous place to stay.Room large, modern and clean. The bathroom is beautifully fitted and the power shower has piping hot water at all times.Nina is a wonderful hostess and gave great advice about local restaurants and bus links etc. We were not expecting breakfast but tea, coffee, bread and jam is provide in the compact modern kitchen. The house keeper comes in each day and cleans the room and empties the dishwasher etc.Toilitries are provided.Do not be put off by the outside of this Italian apartment block- the inside is superb. The electric tram is right outside the front door and will take you into cetral Rome-however we walked to the vatican and forum with no problem. We'll be back- we felt like Romans and not tourists staying here!!” Judith, Belfast |

“It is a very quaint looking hotel and was in the exact location we wanted. We found it very easily and it was centrally located for all the sights of Rome. I wanted an authentic looking Italian hotel in a cobbled alley and that is exactly what we got. All the staff were lovely and helpful and the chauffeur service from the hotel to the airport was a lovely touch.” Joanne, Woodford Green, Essex |
