I traveled with my wife and our baby with 5 months old. It was really nice because the owner Liliana was always so kind und help us in everything. Also the breakfast was good and fresh.
Unfortunately the street was noisy for our baby. The bathroom made noise everytime that we used it because of its water bomb.
The room was very comfortable with the best beds in our month long holiday. The breakfast was good and the staff friendly and helpful. The air conditioning was very effective which was good as we kept the double glazed windows closed to minimise the traffic noise.
There was a little traffic noise when the traffic built up through the intersection as the Italians loved using their horns. However, the double glazing fixed this issue. Also, our room backed onto the stair well and we had a little noise with people coming and going and closing the entrance door.
Very good breakfast, 15min by walking. To the old city, very nice hospitality, .big room for 4people. Free. Tee at the room.
Reception. Work until. 13:00 only. But they gave us the code to the entrance.
The room we used was for three or four people. The most impressive thing was that the room had been used since the 18 or 19 century so we could experience a kind of "time slip" to the age. Nevertheless the room was clean. Staffs were so nice. Breakfast also also sartisfied us.
The place was a little bit inconvenient to access to the center of the city if you want to use a public transportation. You should walk to go to the center of the city. It takes just 15 minutes. Check-in time is too short. Even if you couldn't get to the residence within the hour, You can enter into the residence by yourself and get the key left on the front desk, but it might borther you. Staffs cannot speak English almost at all.
Hosts Liliana & Lucia were extremely friendly & helpful & we had a wonderful stay .
Staff is very helpful and friendly.
A considerable walk to the Duomo where we spent a considerable time. Also, we didn't see any lift or elevator.
no balcony....no clean towels provided...had to use same towels for 4 days...was told if we wanted fresh towels it would be 10 euro additional per day....all in all I would say its "betta" than sleeping in a park...
Everything was wonderful! The welcome as we arrived, the breakfasts kept us going all day, and Betta herself is pure joy! I can't wait to go back! Hopefully end of March! A real treat.
1) Spacious & comfortable 2) Warm & friendly stuff 3) Decent location from attractions and train station
1) the room can be a little cold too cold at times.
the owner of the hotel was very friendly. We arrived very late at night and the owner sent us sms and left a note with information how to get to the apartment.
it was quite cold in the room. Although it might have been possible to use air-conditioner to heat the room. breakfast is very basic.
The place is decent price compared to other places around there. Near train station.
1) The owner was 1 hour late to our check-in time. 2) we "prepaid" by AMEX card with booking.com, but once we were checking in, the owner said they don't accept AMEX and we need to pay with cash or another credit card at breakfast on the next day. At breakfast, the owner said we need to pay 30Euro extra since the price on booking.com was if we pay the night before and the price increase the next day. We need to call booking.com to have them resolve this issue. 3) the breakfast was horrid. 4) the owner don't speak English, we have to communicate through google translate. 5) The room is definitely NOT "soundproof" as stated in the room detail. We can hear sirens at night and people out in the hall. 6) I had minor bleeding at night and use the towel to clean up. I place the towel on the floor for replacement. When I came back, the towel was hang in the bathroom with a note saying "we replace linen only after third day."
