Starhotels Metropole is in Rome's central Repubblica area, 295 ft from the Opera House. Termini Station, Rome's terminal for metro, buses and trains, is a 5-minute walk away.

In a 19th-century building, the Quirinale is a 10-minute walk from the Colosseum. This historic hotel is connected to Rome Opera House through a passageway in its leafy courtyard.

The staff were so attentive & lovely. The interior design is very pleasing.
The hotel could improve it's map on their website, to help get to the hotel.
Generally satisfied well. Room was clean and in a good size for three. Staff are all kind. The hotel is located vety close to Metro and major bus stations, which is a big advantage. We enjoyed staying.
Wifi worked ok but sometimes weakly. An elevator is small (the hotel is located on the third floor). However, these are quite common for most European hotels and not special only for this hotel.
There was a mistake with the pricing to where it was benificial to us. The hotel honored the discount and the staff treated us very well regardless of the issue. The hotel is clean and in a great spot. DO NOT LISTEN to reviewers who say the metro is further than expected. It's literally a 2 minute walk. The breakfast was a typical Italian style which was still great. They even offered a special complimentary dinner for new year's eve. We would have enjoyed it but we already set up reservations at a restaurant. Again, let me say that the staff did a very great job making us feel comfortable and they were very hospitable.
Stylish roman residence converted into tourist accommodation. Excellent location for the exploration of Rome. Walking distance to Termini-Rome's main train station, very convenient connections. Most highlights can be reached on foot. Metro station meters away. Rooms nicely decorated, comfortable and very clean. Friendly and polite service.
Breakfast-OK, but quite limited. Note: The standard room is a bit small in size. Opt for the bigger mini-suite, if available, for a slightly higher rate.
Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent location for sightseeing. Comfortable room. Hope to return!
The young lady, Maggie I think (she had braces) was very cheerful and helpful. The rest of the staff was not.
Location and the exclusivity of the hotel.
The elevator was just too small .
It states they are located near the train station, which they are not! We wanted a hotel near the station. This was a 10-15 minute ride from the station! You needed to be an engineer to work the shower. We asked for a wake up call that we never received. Thankfully, woke up on our own.
Location--easy walk to main train hub. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
Absolutely no view. We upgraded our room and our view was that of laundry hanging out of windows of apartments and buildings that were in need of paint and repair. We just kept our drapes closed.
Staff was the friendliest I encountered in Italy. They were very attentive and the room was always clean. I highly recommend this hotel.

Just a small point, breakfast room really small. Could see that you could have to wait sometimes. We didn't,so not complaining.
Location, service attitude of staff, the room, breakfast
Very beautiful room, warm staff explain lots if things about rome. Breakfast is good. And have to enjoy the top garden.
The wifi is not so good. And it is little bit hard to find first time
The staff were exceptionally attentive. Their restaurant recommendations were all good. One morning, my wife had to catch an early bus to Pompeii, so they started the breakfast service early. The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable (which can be a rare find these days). I use Skype for business calls. The wifi was more than adequate.
The location and elevator took a bit getting used too. However, after a couple of days we grew to appreciate the convenience of the location and the historic charm of the elevator. The Metro was a 3 minute walk, which is great when you are heading to the Vatican or other distant locations. You can reach the main tourist attractions in 10-15 minutes.
This is the most gorgeous little hotel we have ever stayed in. The room we had was on the small side but it was still gorgeous. The staff are so, so helpful, always smiling and always there to help you. The hotel is situated near the Metro so you haven't far to go get around Rome. There are also a lot of lovely little resturants nearby.
Our room was small and really a bigger one would have been nice. The breakfast isn't the best. If you like yoghurt and a roll then great! We would have liked some crossaints or toast. But to be fair we didn't ask, and I'm sure if we had the staff would have obliged.
close to the Rome termini station
It was clean and was very close to the station which was convenient. Staff were overall helpful and friendly.
Really poor wifi in some rooms.
Very impressed with all the staff and the overall presentation was excellent.
Everything was just right!
Cellini is an oasis of peace in Rome. Very friendly helpful and accommodating. The Room was spacious and beautiful. 5 th floor outdoor pato lounge perfect place to read and prepare for a day of sight seeing. Just a few blocks from Metro station, restaurants and shopping just down the street. I am coming back with my husband!
Very friendly and helpful. Good size room - very quiet but still central.
Wifi wasn't great. The lift is a bit comical and not very user friendly- more 1930's than 2014! Breakfast is adequate but not extensive.
excellent location, quiet hotel, good bed, nice room with comfortable bathroom
Everything is very good. All stuffs are very kind. We stayed a Junior Suite (2 Adults) for 5 nights. The wide and clean room made us feel relaxed. It takes 8 mins to Termini station by walk. We could go to most famous sightseeing places by walk.
It was difficult to find the hotel. Mitsukoshi is a landmark for the hotel.
very friendly and helpful staff who make to make your stay comfortable.
Accomodating and friendly staff, very clean, great location, good breakfast.
Was a bit skeptical upon arrival that you had to take an old elevator to the floor of this small hotel, but was not disappointed once we arrived.
