Quiet place, very clean room, special decoration, good service. We liked everything there and will visit it again and again. Many thanks to Giada for her kindness and help.
some steps but not big problem.
The location, extremely central The quietness The decoration of the room and its cleanliness The quality of the bed The staff, extremely welcoming, and helpful The free, included, drinks in the mini-bar (water, sodas...)
Nothing - it was perfect
The room was nice and spacious, very clean. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Location was great.
The second night we had a lot of noise probably from one of the tenants in the building, but we were in a residenza that shares facilities with other businesses. The personnel and room were great.
Very comfortable and quiet room in inner city Florence, where quietness is hard to find. Elegant and simple room. Excellent bed.
A bit hard to find....signage quite discreet. Stairs, no lift.
Situated in a beautiful old palazzo the guest house has both character and charm. It is also in an excellent location just a short walk from main sites such as the Duomo and Ponte Vecchio and close to lots of restaurants, shops etc. The staff are very warm and welcoming and will make sure you are well looked after. The room had plenty of character and was a generous size with a modern bathroom and a small selection of complimentary soft drinks (water, coke) which was a nice touch.
The wifi signal was pretty weak and kept cutting out. It would have been nice to have some sort of facility to make a tea or coffee in the morning. However there is a small coffee shop just across the street so this is not really too much of a problem.
Location Spacious room The wifi was really fast
I called the hotel because I was going to be a little late about the check in and they just told me if I didn't arrive on time I would loose my booking and even the money!! The girl who attended us was a little rude and not really kind. The suite we got is really big but the light was not enough. We didn't have any window outside the room. They claimed we have a lot of services but we only had 2 little pots of soap/shampoo and it was funny: you can use everything from the fridge for free... 2 bottles of water and a coke!!! That's ridiculous.
Location, very close to city center.
Very noisy Bathroom Value for money
The room was newly renovated, location great, 5 minutes to the center and right opposite a bakery/cafe. The staff were wonderful.
The hotel "desk clerk", Giana, was truly outstanding. She provided very useful sightseeing and restaurant information. She was extremely friendly and gracious and made us feel at home. Her English was more than adequate. She is a charming person! The Junior Suite was roomy and the facility was generally very quiet. The king bed was firm and the room was clean. Location was excellent.
This is a very small facility inside a large old building. No elevator is available to get to second floor, so must haul luggage up stairway. This place did not feel like a hotel which was nice, but did not include breakfast.
Giuda our host was extremely helpful and spoke excellent English. I would recommend this apartment to anyone as location was super and reasonably priced
Since no one is at the front desk when you check out.. You automatically leave the bunch of keys in your room ... However once you close your room the first door cannot be opened to get out and your stuck early in the morning to go to airport and no one is there to help ... Had to wake up someone from the room to open the door.. Thus door should not be allowed to be locked with key from the inside!!!!
The Residenza D’epoca was a delightful place to stay in the heart of Florence. The 1900-century building and its grand doorway with stairs to tell stories added to the authentic experience of visiting such a history rich place such as Florence. The rooms were spacious, clean and inviting with their fusion of contemporary and old world decorating. Staff and reception are extremely welcoming and friendly always offering their assistance on anything you may need, ensuring you are happy and comfortable during your stay. The Residenza D’eopca is a perfect and safe place to stay whilst experiencing Florence and I certainly would stay here again.
We liked almost everything about the hotel, very spacious and modern room just like was shown on the pictures. Staff is very nice and helful, location is very good very close to main attractions yet very calm and not noisy
The only one thing we did not like is the absence of elevator, as we had a long trip in italy we had a lot of lagguage and it wad very heavy to pull it up the stairs
Beautiful room, helpful staff and excellent location. Loved our stay.
Too bad towels were not changed during our 3-night stay, even when we put them on the floor.
Location, very old building but modern facilities, helpfull staff, good value
Great location, very friendly and professional staff. The rooms were very modern and comfortable. We were three adults and the third bed was a real bed, suitable for adults. Everything was very clean.
We had a great stay at Residenza d'epoca Borgo Albizi. The staff was very friendly and professional. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Location was excellent.
Excellent location in a lovely city. Beatifully designed anf furnished boutique hotel in the heart of florence
We had a big problem with our water heater. Sufficient enough for only one person to take hot shower. An issue that needs to be fixed immediately !!! Breakfast consisits of Croissant and coffee. Not a good value for the advertised breakfast included. We checked the cost of the breakfast in the Cafe where we were given the vouchers, it was 2 euros, definately a dissapointment
Newly refurbished a few months ago, decoration and finishings to an excellent standard. Good value for money, couldn't of asked for anything more. Set in a lovely old building. Great location, easy access to everything. Friendly staff, recommended places to eat and go aswell as we were only there for one night.
Being at the centre of everything and being so quiet there. The place was small and Staff very helpful and . very friendly
The stairs. The lift did not stop on the first floor. No place with coffee or break fast facilities in the building.
clean room safe area kind staff cleaning the room every day
The perfect place to stay in the best part of the city center. A short and enjoyable walk to every important site - on a lively and fun street. The staff will do thier absolute best to make your stay fabulous in every way. Chic, immaculate, refreshing, a home away from home.... Don't miss this fantastic experience!
Very well appointed - space you could stay for a week easily! The staff were very helpful. Loved it!
There needs to be an explanation about the stairs and no lift. Whilst someone is there to help with the luggage for some people the stairs maybe too much.
The proprietor has created a euro boutique hotel feeling in a private residence - which is located on a magnificent street and in a beautiful palazzo right in the heart of Firenze!! When you walk through the huge beautiful and elegant door you find a peaceful personal retreat from the fast paced center of town. This wonderful residence is refreshingly chic and hip! It has a great vibe - the people who work the are just wonderful - kind - and dedicated to making your stay very special--like your there are amazing ! Upon my day of arrival Giada actually walked down the street and met me on the street and walked me down to Borgo Albizi because I had a bit of difficulty finding my way .... Another kind gesture..Alessandro- the Owner - walked me to down the street to the Tabaccaio to add minutes to My Cell phone - which i totally appreciated --Now that is five diamond service! Giulia is wonderful as well and very helpful in planning and giving advice. The whole experience was fantastic and I highly reccomend it ! Xo B.
Friendly staff, great location!
Internet didn't always work in the rooms...we had to go into the hallway.
