The hotel is located in the historic old town of Umbria, leding to an experience I'll cherish forever. The location of the hotel is nothing short of a dream for anyone with a love for history and architecture. Situated in the heart of Umbria, the hotel is surrounded by a panorama of historical marvels that takes you on a journey through time.
The nearby ancient Roman ruins offer a glimpse into a distant past, while the medieval aristocratic houses tell stories of a time of grandeur and elegance. The juxtaposition of these historical treasures creates a mosaic of eras and styles that is both captivating and awe-inspiring.
Walking through the old town feels like stepping into a different world, where each corner turned unveils a new piece of history waiting to be discovered. The authenticity of the area is palpable, with every stone and street holding a piece of the past. It's a place where history is not just seen but felt, offering a profound connection to the ages.

Spoleto is one of Italy's most pictures and peaceful towns. Very relaxed atmosphere with lots of beautiful restaurants and eateries.
The old Roman structures were not crowded and easy to access on foot. Walking around Spoleto was easy and very safe both by day and night.
Lots of old Roman ruins and artists works in galleries dotted around the town.
A perfect break from the congestion of the big cities. Spoleto will not disappoint. Hotel Duci was in a perfect location with good parking

The view at the top of the mountain using the tramway was exquisite and seeing the bridge and fort....Loved the Duomo beautiful beyond..the old streets...not many tourists...the streets so interesting. It was easy to get around..loved the piazza below our accommodation. Our accommodations were beyond my expectation. The wrap around terrazzo was such a bonus and a special way to end our trip. The old very old church just outside added to the beauty. and the tramway a walk away, The views from our terrazzo was spectacular!.

Spoleto is a city dating back thousands of years, where monuments, fortresses and wonderful awe inspiring churches exist. A modern underground walking/moving escalators and elevators assist young and old alike to move around this wonderful ancient city. There are numerous shops, boutiques, indoor/outdoor restaurants and bars to serve the public. Most important are the friendly people of Spoleto. A must see destination for all.

A really interesting town which is very easy to navigate with underground walkways and escalators. Easy access and easy parking, we wished we could have stayed for more than one night. A lovely Duomo overlooked by hilltop castle from which there is an excellent view.

The area of Spoleto is quite vast and enchanting.
The area of Spoleto is quite vast and enchanting. I would recommend to other travellers to have a car so as to be able to move to different areas. Other places worth visiting are Montefalco, Orvieto, Todi, Montone, Assisi. We tried a restaurant called Ristorante Pizzeria Rosticceria da Moreno e Moira, it is situated at Via Carlo Marx 39, San Giovannio Di baiano 06049 Spoleto Italy. After the first time, we finished dining every day at this restaurant. The food is excellent, the owner is unique and very good value for money.
We looked for a place to stay near the Marmore Falls and lucked out on this hotel with its great views and location in the heart of Spoleto. We arrived in the evening and had time to walk around this enchanting medieval village and visit the castle museum the next morning before driving to the waterfall.
Regarding the Marmore Falls, if you cannot find parking in the main area or the ticket lines are long, carry on down the main road for 5 minutes and there is a back entrance to the park and a restaurant with parking...
Everything about this property was fabulous. Situated outside of Spoleto, this is a reception place as well as hotel. It has a wonderful restaurant with first class food, amazing pool and farm animals if you have children. The room was modern as was the whole property. The shower recess was a little small for my husband but adequate for me. The whole property is very clean with lovely gardens and very large car park. The staff are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it.
Our hosts Eugenio and Rosella showed us lovely Italian hospitality. Helped us with transport arrangements and great suggestions for local dining and entertainment. Fantastic welcome pack provided, including some local Umbrian wine. The accommodation was very comfortable for our 5 day stay in Spoleto and the location just right for exploring by foot (and yes, we got to love the travelators). Our hosts made us feel most welcome.
This was our favourite hotel on our trip around Umbria & Tuscany. We would definitely stay again. Booked last minute, not realising what a gem I had found. Recommended by Mr & Mrs Smith & The Telegraph. Beautifully and tastefully furnished. Owners and staff were absolutely delightful. Food in the restaurant, fantastic. All better quality and half the price of the properties we found in Tuscany.
Very good location, in the historic center of Spoleto. All attractions very easy to reach.
Nice and cosy appartment, well equipped, including cooking facilities.
Very clean and comfortable.
Elena is a great host. Even if we did not meet, she checked us in earlier, and we have always been in contact, in case we needed help. Thank you so much ! We will be very happy to come back some time.
Charming farm stay in the hills just outside of Spoleto. The hosts were warm and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. They also gave us excellent recommendations for new places to check out in the area. We loved the dinner with fresh products from the farm! We hope to be back in the summer to take advantage of the activities available on the grounds.
The agritourismo is situated about 2 kms outside Spoleto with a spectacular view of La Rocca and the old town. The breakfast room allows you to see this view at any time. The breakfast room itself has plenty of seating for the guests and serves a very good breakfast with attentive staff. Our room, was particularly roomy and faced out over the pool setting.
Pietro and his father Giorgio were very helpful, supporting all our requests.
The room is new, nice and comfortable. All new facilities are well selected.
There is a big jacuzzi in the garden.
They have a free hotel parking ticket for a nearby location, where there is a free escalator up to the town piazzas and locations.
The location is located right next to the via flaminia, which makes it easy and fast to access anything in central Italy. I didn't hear the road traffic in the facilities or the room. View is superb and includes the Rocca Albornoziana of Spoleto in the distance. Eating at the location was also great.
One of a kind hotel located in a medieval monastery in a heart of old town Spoleto. All modern amenities are in place, everything is sparkling clean. The best breakfast I ever had cooked fresh by the owner, breakfast area view is to die for. Owners are amazing people, we can’t wait to come back.
Location is best in town, however absolutely no investment into any upgrades. Terrible furniture, bathroom drawer came apart when opening. No space to place anything in the bathroom. Rooms very small. Hallways from the middle ages...no water in the room upon arrival.
This place is the perfectly located. I really appreciate the location just near the town center, the services in particular the breakfast with many choices of the italian cornetto, the staff, the clean room with private toilette / Bath and the free parking.
Very quiet place, typical farmer's house of XVII/XVIIIth century, located in a charming hamlet near Spoleto. Cinzia, the owner, knows very well Umbria and its inummerable cultural treasury. Very good advice, also for a nearby trattoria !
The Palazzo Dragoni is beautiful, the rooms are large and luxurious, and it's in an ideal location in Spoleto. They went above and beyond to help me out with a car issue. Stay here -- both the people and the palazzo are amazing!
Great hotel and excellent customer service from a brilliant host. She was very helpful with the check-in process, sending us a map of the nearby parking lot and plenty of recommendations for local restaurants
The most beautiful hotel! Far exceeded expectations, pictures do not do it justice. Lovely buffet breakfast too in the courtyard. The garden view from my hotel was gorgeous too.
The staff were quite helpful. A couple of things were not working when we arrived, but were fixed right away! Very nice place to stay for exploring Spoleto!
Great if you have a car as hotel has a lot or parking nearby. Great breakfast. View of Roman amphitheatre from room. A bit on the business-y side however.
The rooms are far more functional and comfortable for an hotel of this level. The staff is kind and helpful. The annexed restaurant is cheap and quite good.
