A small boutique hotel with friendly service, near but not on top of the main attractions.
We arrived 8pm in the evening not knowing how to navigate the main entrance (to the palazzo) and the two lifts to "Home in Palace".
We loved the room and the bed was huge! There is a very nice view from the breakfast area.
Breakfast was very basic, but this seems to be the standard in most of Italy.
Good location and nice breakfast in a room with a view. Nice little garden to take a walk in the morning or in the evening. Very helpful staff who booked museums for me so I could jump the queue!
Long wifi passwords which change every day for every handset...
This is a small boutique hotel with staff that anticipate your every need. It's a friendly home away from home, with access also to the private garden out the back. A wonderful location right in town, but quiet & peaceful to go home to...
Location and staff
The amount of keys needed to get into the place
The location was perfect. Close to everything but not too close. The building was quiet and the room was lovely. Within 5-20 minutes from every place we wanted to visit. The breakfast was good and the service excellent. We would stay here again and recommend it highly.
There was nothing we didn't like.
Nice peaceful location.Very clean.Stylish.Nice staff.Luxurious to stay in an old palace.Near Duomo &railway station.
Much doors, inconvenience with the keys.Missed some salami, fresh cheese, different kind of bread(instead for toast) for breakfast
Size of room Comfort of furnishings Efficiency of service by staff Great views from the lounge/breakfast room
No access to facilities for making coffee when staff not on site Breakfast limited in selection
The service was a great, she was very helpful. The hotel location is also very convenient if you have car. The room size was bigger than expected.
not easy to find the hotel, no any sign or clue. lots of steps to reach the room, steps, and 2 elevator. You have 4 keys for garden, building, apartment and room, I think it is too much if you stay in a hotel. the building key was not working properly and we hardly opened the door. the breakfast might be have more bakeries and fresh florence greens.
The hotel is very good located, it is in a beautiful place, with a beautiful garden. The view is not as beautiful as I thought it would be (you see mostly roofs). Beds are OK but the pillows give you neck pain and when I asked them to change it she had only one available. Breakfast was very good. I did not like the staff, though. The lady who takes care of there was very confused (she gave us wrong tips and directions) and she made it very hard when we asked her for something. I think that is the main part they have to take care of: their staff.
Residenza D'Epoca Home in Palace was a terrific good value for what it offers: good location, with modern and very clean facilities. It does feel like you are in a upscale B&B. You get your set of keys and come and go like it is your house. Breakfast was simple but enough to start your day. You are within 5 to 10 minutes walk to the Duomo,
Great staff, great location and lovely accommodation.
Wonderful stay in terrific palace, great rooms, lovely staff, nice breakfast. Strongly recommended
Breakfast was advertised on their site as "coming fro our family farm in Tuscany" but consisted of toast, fruit, cereal and yogurt purchased at the supermarket.
We loved our Suite and the location was fantastic
Didn't like the staff attitude and the Breakfast was a long way the worst we were offered during our trip in Italy.
Very nice location - very closed to downtown - in a last floor of an old house / palace , very quiet area far from tourist critical mass area !!) ( 10 mn far from Duomo by walk) Nice Rooms very well decorated ( modern cosy style) Feeling to be at home
Breakfast could be completed with fresh bread and seasonnal fresh fruits ...
I liked the uniqueness of the room in the palace. The private garden and parking was great. It was a nice sanctuary in busy florence.
The bed. It was so hard my husband described it as sleeping on a mix of concrete and plywood. The staff had their child there everyday and they were screaming each morning. The view of the duomo was severely obstructed by a building.
Beautiful clean and spacious room with a balcony view of the Duomo. Great location in a quiet room north of the main touristic part of the city, but still only about a 8-10 minute walk from the Duomo. The setting in an ancient palace was great as well, with access to the interior palace garden possible. The host Leni was extremely helpful in providing local information, telephone calls for reservations, etc.
